I remember when I was a teen 14 years old , I found by accident in the closet my step dad’s stash of Playboy magazines. Could stop looking at them until I became a believer and I was good staying away from magazines. Over time when cell phones came out, porn was Easley found on the internet even on mainstream platforms. Finally through prayers the Lord set me free from it!

Really resonate with this. I loved the way the difference is laid out between rock chuckers and being people of grace and truth. Matthew 20:25, Mark 10:42-45, Luke 22:25 talk about not lording it over others. And that is what comes to me as I listen to this. Laying out what addiction does to our brains is so key. Recently ran into someone who is a recovering gambling addict and they said the same thing. Had no idea that addiction was just as powerful.

It's not the church that will help, although organized religion has it's place. It's the grace of God the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Sadly, the truth and the steps to freedom from pornography aren't commonly found being taught in the church. But God's grace abounds, and he is faithful and sees us all where we are!
We are not to judge someone else’s spiritual journey. That is why we should exercise judgment/ discernment in all things, but never use such ability against someone internal spiritual life. We don’t really know what’s going on in them. The most we can do is pray for their deliverance.

I had a sin problem with lust for years i fell into masturbation and looking at indecent pictures of women at early age i never had any peace i knew this was a demonic spirit that bound me but the lord has delivered me from so much by his grace and mercy. Now at 44 i try to consecrate my body to live holy and take up my cross follow christ every day the fear of God is missing in todays society and the church. We need revival an outpouring of the precious holy spirit i do pray for people to get set free from demons and be saved shalom

Where’s the motivation when it’s impossible to get married? The standards are so astronomical. God has abandoned us and then he’s gonna throw us in Hell for being unable to fulfill the desires HE GAVE US in the proper way. We’ve been set up to fail. Tell me I’m wrong.
Cry out to God for a wife, He will deliver you from sexual immorality and you will glorify Him through sex with your wife. Nothing is impossible with God.

Porn is not a replacement for a real woman. It’s sad when men have this mindset. Even if you think it is porn makes you depressed, low self esteem, unmotivated ect. It makes me feel so self conscious. Maybe you’d meet a real woman if you stopped.
@ My situation prevents me from even looking for a relationship. I have to take care of my grandparents cause their kids won’t do anything for them. I’m working to prop my mother up cause she doesn’t make enough to support herself. I have to wait for everyone to die before I will be free to even look.
@@BruceJC75 I totally understand. Work on feeling better and trying to do things to promote your health. I’m on the same journey and porn is not apart of a healthy life. I’m 1 month clean of porn and hope to never go back
