I'd love to see this at full capacity. Like, completely full to the point that no more toys will fit.

Do you know how many cords I would need if I only used a 36 inch dowel instead of 48 inches?

I like the idea of the 1 inch paperboard you used to measure saved more time. Just curious how long did you made this? I mean hours?

I am having trouble with the double half inch knots loosening on the bottom dowel if not being held up. Is this normal, an ideas what I could be doing wrong or how to fix ?

Hi, I'm new to macrame and was wondering if instead of wooden dowels, can I substitute them with those plastic/metal extendable rod? And if I want to make this 2 tier do i simply double the length of the yarn?

Could use 5 mm rope? If so what adjustments would I make to the length of rope, if any?

Love this! Do you think this would work for children's books, like a hanging shelf? But with multiple layers?

Gasp!! Yes!! That’s genius! It would totally work. Just use multiple dowels.

I bet it would! That’s a great idea!

Do you think this could work as a shelf if you put up wait wait board across the edge?

    • @MarchingNorth

It might- that’s an interesting idea for sure!

I was wondering why a 7/8" dowel was specifically used, and for the bottom dowel, If 1/2 inch was too small, how come 3/4" was not used, rather than 7/8". Because in Canada, I don't see a 7/8" available at our Home Depot to purchase for the top dowel. I am thinking 1" for the top and 3/4" for the bottom might work ok? What do you think.

....I came here looking for something to hold my bed-eating collection of giant squishmallows. Not sure this size could handle the army, but it looks fantastic. Guess I'm about to super-size this. lol

How much rope all together did this take?
