Badjang Badjang its called survival burmese by kenneth wong, it has manga in it, that is what makes it so cool, you can order it online, i got mine on amazon,but im sure you can get it on ebay, or some book stores.

Thank you for these great videos which refresh and improve my knowledge. I am looking for a lesson for the Burmese equivalent of the English IF, I believe that may be intermediate and may need a long lesson as there many ways of using if involving tense variations like conditional etc. if you have one already made I would be happy to be referred to it.

Hi Chris! A better option might be "Kyanaw do bah loke pay ya ma lae?" ကြ်န္ေတာ္တို႕ ဘာလုပ္ေပးရမလဲ။ (What should we do for you?") The word "for you" doesn't appear in the sentence but the auxiliary verb "pay" makes it clear it's an offer to do something for the benefit of the other person/the listener/ the implied "you." Loke (to do) + auxiliary verb pay = To do something for someone's benefit, in someone's interest.

@@Chris-xd5ds Yes, as an independent verb, Pay means to give or offer. But as an auxiliary verb following another verb, it means to do (that verb) in someone else's interest, for someone else's benefit. For example: ေမးေပးမယ္ (May, to ask + pay) = I'll ask [the question] for you/him/her/them. ဝယ္ေပးမယ္ (Wae, to buy + pay) = I'll buy [that item] for you/him/her/them. လုပ္ေပးမယ္ (Loke, to do + pay) = I'll do [this job] for you/him/her/them.
