- The Brooks Ghost 16 is undoubtedly a massive improvement on the previous versions. Brooks has significantly changed this shoe but the question remains... is this a serious contender amongst the current daily trainers?

The 16 looks like a great update for the Ghost.
Absolutely is… that’s why I didn’t think it’s right that people have called it a bad shoe. I think it’s a great shoe but will either suit people or not. For those that ran in previous versions… this shoe will be amazing as an upgrade

Hi Sir, kindly need some advice. My son who is 11 years started running around 1 to 2 miles. So that he can build strong leg muscles , enhance stamina etc. so that it will help him in his main sports. Do you suggest a high cushion shoe or normal stack like ghost 16. Main objective of all his run is to get fit , increase stamina.... Thanks in advance

I had Brooks 14...meh....for daily trainer.....but they're booring.

12 mm at the forefoot is just the midsole stack height, not including the outsole and insole. Running Warehouse has the stack height at 36 in the heel and 24 in the forefoot. Still minimal but not 2000s racing flat.
I tell you what… that’s the beauty of running in the shoes yourself. Regardless of the numbers I can promise you that I definitely prefer a more cushioned higher stack shoe
@@AubreyRunning I agree, I just didn't want people who focus to much on numbers to be turned off by the numbers when they don't correlate to the feel.
A good work horse, I like a shoe that allows me to work and not help me
Fair play… great shoe for sure. Whilst it doesn’t work as well for me, I can see the heart of this shoe!
Have you tried the Glycerin 21 ?
Yeah… only tried it and loved it! It was exactly what I need for the same purpose as the Ghost 16.
