Smart locks are great, but they're expensive, and not everyone needs all of those features.
The main benefit of an electronic lock is pin code entry so that you and/or your family members never get locked out again. More recently, fingerprint door locks have become highly desired because there's no need to memorize pin codes.
You can get that for a whole lot less than the price of a full blown smart lock.
If you want basic pin code, or fingerprint access, for under 20 users this may be the lock for you. Additionally, you get the ability to store a 1-time-use code, that can be provided in a pinch to let someone into the home....only once. The Teeho TE002 fingerprint door lock is hard to beat for his price.
The Teeho is a grade 3 electronic deadbolt, which is the lowest of the ANSI lock grades, but I'm impressed that it even has a lock grade at this price point. Most of the inexpensive lock options don't even bother paying to get a certification, and Teeho did. Even at grade 3, if felt like a well built lock and grade 3 locks are the norm for home installations.
The Teeho installed with absolutely no issues. Ez, pz.

I'm building a workshop, and wanted keyless locks. I pulled the trigger today on buying two of them. Thanks for the review, but as constructive feedback I would like to see more information on their locking resistance, much like Lock Picking Lawyer does.
This lock isn't any more or less secure than a standard house lock. You're dealing with the residential grade lock here.

I've got to replace my locks next week, what do you recommend for the best security lock? I'm reinforcing the screws with 3 inch ones and strike plates.

The issue with this is the keypad stops working after a year. Then fingerprint sensor starts wearing out too after another year or two. Or the sensor first then the keypad, either way they both don't really last
This fingerprint deadbolt has a lot of great features and I would love to put this on my front door however I need a deadbolt that uses a key or fingerprint on the inside also since my front door has a large glass section. I checked the Teeho website and that isn’t an option they offer on their fingerprint deadbolt. Do you know of a lock manufacturer that offers a fingerprint deadbolt with that option?
No residential deadbolt has a two way code. Against fire code nowadays.
@@LocksmithRecommended okay that certainly makes sense, how about one that is keyed on the inside instead of the twist knob. Is it possible that exists? I know there are deadbolt locks that are operated on both sides by key.
@@brooksa4579 Same issue. New building code says the front door must have free egress (nothing to prevent exist). I think this is why they don't make them, because they know most smart locks are going on front doors.

So long as it's residential standard door prep, I don't see why not.
How easily can this lock be bumped?
The same as any other off-the-shelf store-bought lock. You're not getting high security at this price.
Thanks, can you comment on the weiser uptown single cylinder smart key deadbolt? It’s on my back door & reinforced with the extra long screws & stainless steel guard that wraps around both sides. Crime is on the rise & our back door is out of everyones sight so it’s a concern.
Has this been tested by the Lockpicking Lawyer? If not it’s useless to me.
You must not have any locks on your house. 🤣. This is a low price entry electronic deadbolt. Not a high security I want Fort Knox deadbolt.
