I needed to do some again and I plan on getting out on some more bikes in the future
I rode it a few times and found the lean angle very good. I ride a road glide special and this Sportster lean more
I scraped the bottom of my shoe so it was more like bad foot position in all reality. I have 13" shocks on mine so I think the lean angle is about the same

I've had no issues with lean, you just have to tuck your toes in like you would on a sport bike
