I have a Weber EG-1 so I guess it qualifies as being pretty good. However the grounds clumps together with the blind shaker. So perhaps the auto comb could work for me?
Hmmm... We don't have the EG1 but from the looks of it it seems like a pretty high end grinder. If the clumps are there then definitely the autocomb woudk help
agreed,if U already have good grinder...u dont really need this,BUT.....I think this tool should help extraction time go faster, not longer.Reason is when theres no clump, then the coffee would be easier to be extracted,so extracion time i think should be shorter to avoid overextract n this tool should do better for some beans that lighter than usual espresso/omni roast....just my opinion n view 🖖
I’m tripping or your don’t even speak about the taste ??? How gives a damn about tds ? You want the best taste in the cup not the highest % number extraction, am I wrong ?

thank you for the effort that u made, one question though, how about the fiorenzato that u hav, will the result be the same? thx in advance.
Thats an interesting experiment. We haven't done that yet but might try when we have the time. Haha
Auto comb or any other similar tools won't fix channelling issue, beans quality and grinder and good work flow will help.
