This is my absolute favorite cannibal corpse song of all time. It's just a masterpiece that sounds like the soundtrack for the gates of Hades. Just evil and grinding brutality. Very good job recreating it. So close to the original. I've always wished so much I could learn it, but alas, I never have.

I first time saw CC here in Finland in the beginning of the Millennium and they started their gig with this one!!! 😔🤘🤒 I was the first person in the audience to hit the cigarette lighter towards the ceiling 🤭😄 The guys next to me were like wtf, but there were few others quite soon following my example..! And if you have any doubts, I must assure you, that this is a true story!!! The gig of course was awesome. I picked signatures to my Gore obsessed album from the guys of the band, who came to talk to us after the gig😊 George already had huge neck back then, but when I last time till now saw them live in Oulu, Finland, he had doubled his whole body size🙄 I must tell that for me seeing the CC guys walking to the stage in the dark club is the most timiting sight I have ever seen. They actually look like they would kill someone- or everyone around. Just like that.
ill be honest, i barely know anything about this band, but, this tune stands above all tunes as the heaviest thing ive ever heard in my 41 years on this planet, just fantastic, makes me feel dirty and i love it
Fucking awesome dude. I just think the intro is a bit too fast, but I'm especially impressed with the bass work, it's slow but technical, tough and clean stuff for a guitar-drum player ! And also SUPERB production. Awesome K7 ;) Very well made video. One of the best songs I've ever heard in my life.

andriuchaMetal Don't have a bass amp either, I use different software plugins in Logic Pro X. There are some pretty decent ones out there with great sounds. Bare sound of the bassguitar without any equilizing whatsoever is horrible, as it is a very cheap bassguitar.

Tabs for CC are often not correct, sad to say. CC never plays in DGCF too I believe. The first albums with Chris Barnes are in E flat standard tuning, and from Vile on they went to lower tunings like B flat and G sharp even. This song is not too hard too learn by the way, go for it!

I tuned my 4 string bass to B flat, as 4 strings are enough to play this song with. In a live situation they mostly use 6 strings, but sometimes they use a 7 string as well.
