Tested it and went from like 192 energy on Elemental Invocation to 288 with my 56% magnitude between my 2 jewels and adorned. Also I though my flammability curse would increase the amount of energy I get sometimes, but it doesn't. Not sure what curse is best, but I want to save frostbite for bosses since the curse that runs the combo is only spottily applied.
by the way, Considered Casting shouldn't work with triggered skills (now only works if you cast the skill yourself) edit1: Arcane Blossom notable on the passive tree is also pretty strong for MoM manastacking (15%inc. mana recovery rate, doesn't increase amount but shortens the time to get mana from all managain mechanics, like mana regen or others) edit2: Faster Curse Activation doesn't really matter with Cursed Ground + spell cascade bypassing the wait altogether, as you mentioned, so points spend solely for that are not worth it
You can get both "Notables in Radius also grant %increase Ignite Magnitude" and "Notables in radius also grant Meta Skills gain %increased energy" on time lost jewels. A time lost jewel with Medium Radius can be placed in the top center of the tree to hit Master of Hexes, as well as Endless Blizzard and Glaciation which would increase your Comet substantially (and you could also run Cold Exposure and Strip Away on your Comet Link in a crit build). You can also fit a time lost jewel with small radius in the socket near True Strike, and pick up Deep Trance to ease mana pressure and have another 3 notable time lost jewel like this (For the Jugular, True Strike, and Deep Trance).

I was certain "Spells you cast yourself" means literal self-casting, which in my PoE 1 brain means it cannot affect triggered skills. But this is PoE 2, and honestly I wouldn't mind this working, we already kinda lack in Support Gem options :D At the very least, if the tooltip says it affects damage significantly, it is worth testing on something like a boss (maybe Xesht) with and without the Considered Casting on, would be relevant info to have for everyone :P
Cast On Ignite says it builds energy off ignites from *hitting* and I'm pretty sure burning ground isn't a hit. I'm 99.9% sure this is a bug. For example, the shocked ground from lightning warp does not fuel Cast On shock.
Ignite from Flame Wall did give energy before, and GGG fixed it. They probably overlooked this one cuz not many people use burning inscription. I just wonder what kind of spaghetti code they have to have to fix each skill individually. lol

Overlapping aoe of curses is something we are familiar with because of how Impending Doom used to work in PoE1. It basically requires curse to expire in order to deal damage, so in PoE2 you have to curse a mob twice for it to proc (a monster in PoE2 can have only one curse active on it by default, second curse overwrites the first one, effectively expiring it). So for it to insta-proc you need to hit the mob with overlapping zone between two circles of a curse. Since Spell Cascade creates additional circles on the circumference of a middle one - the bigger the aoe, the bigger the overlapping zone, but circles are more far apart and also the non-overlapping zones of each circle are bigger (yes, if you hit them with the middle it doesn't proc). Bigger aoe potentially grants you ability to hit more mobs with ID at once, but gives you less control on how you hit the singular mob or a dense pack with a single curse use. More overlapping in the same sense means more ignite instances too, hence more energy. Good vid, enjoyed it.

Was theorycrafting a similar build, with instant expiry of the curses with cursed ground triggering impending doom and burning inscription. Fairly new to the game so didn't know you needed to consume the ignite before reapplying it to actually get the energy from it. Curse on ignite drain ailments is needed then it seems, kind of bummed because that means you can't use any of the other aiments. And yes invocated efficiency seems like a busted node with this combo. Another note, I think it would be better to use the lowest level curse enfeeble to safe some mana. As the damage scaling doesn't really depend on the level of the curse and your curse doesn't truly activate on the enemy so I think it doesn't matter which curse you use.
Actually I did see this support elemental discharge, which consumes freeze, shock and ignite and deels damage based on yoru int on top of it for each. So if you somehow manage to apply shock+ignite in a single cast you can double down the energy you gain for your elemental invocations.
To be honest cast on crit with contagion and Ed as the 1 spell you cast with high crit wildshards chain and snakebite ring cast speed unleash, and the nodes for multiple projectiles and 1 curse you destroy everything insta basically
couple other bits of tech from watching jungroan's stream today and testing on an EOW invoker version. You can loop with a COI setup with a low level curse and another copy of burning inscription either as gemling or with the arbiter unique helm. This makes the mana sustain a bit harder as curses are expensive, but lets you use ailments. I'm running eow over all three ground effects for damage instead of comet, not really sure what's better but the crit weakness makes crit capping pretty easy. Also rising tempest is a really easy 40% more support - elemental invocation counts as all three elements.
@@Sylvarous it's not the curse creating the ground effect, it's burning inscription support. if you want two of the same supports in two different curses, you need to use arbiter helmet or be a gemling.
I don't think this is meant to work, since the Cast on Ignite says "...you Ignite with HITS from skills.". Burning ground doesn't hit and I'm not sure if it is even meant to count as ignited by "you".

I'm pretty sure tornado shot is bugged/not working as intended because the projectiles should be coming out in a random 360 degree pattern, but instead what happens is they all come out in the exact same pattern. Once GGG fixes this tornado shot will be CRAZY good

On Top of all of it, you might wanna try to use on an Enemy hit : Incinaration the 8th stack leave burning ground, and also top-up solar orb on top of the boss, this is what i'm already using to trigger infinite Comet, over all the spirit needed
Impending doom scales off archmage if you want to mess around with that. However, obviously it would shock everything so that might me an issue with breaking the loop.
A descent loot filter would help you out alot highlighting important items. Everything looked so bland, realised its the lootfilter thats missing. Realy cool build, dident even know the fore orbs existed 😆

Nice build is there any mature difference between using Enfeeble or Flammability other than that the one is more tanky (dmg reduce) and the other is doing some dmg? Or do i miss an important mechanic?
Hm, we have a doggo in the ascendancy that ignites all the enemies near it (without even hit). Why we use curse with burning ground instead? Is it more reliable source of ignites?
You want to avoid causing ailments. That way you only drain the ignite ailment, causing many ignites to happen, quickly building your energy for cast on ignite skills
When I did this, the amount of energy that Essence Drain could get is very low. I have Invoker with meta skills gaing more energy node, and got all of the meta gems gain energy nodes on skill tree. My casts speed is low, would that be detrimental for the loop? What else could I be missing? I'm not stacking mana but currently triggering inscriptions with Bone Blast. I don't have some of the uniques here but they are increasing damage, so they wouldn't effect sustain of the loop. Edit: I found the issue. The amount of energy gained is dependent on how much ignite damage you deal. I don't have max mana or ignite magnitude, so my energy gain is very low. Invoker is a terrible ascendancy for this build.
Can be done on Invoker (I did), only need to build as mana stacker using MoM/EB combo (basically spellcaster builds). You can also gain 2x 10% damage as cold/lightning and get some free spirit using ES chest to boot from ascendancy.
Small correction: Jousis would like this more =D Feedback Loops are awesome in any PoE, but GGG usually doesn't enjoy having these unlimited in the game, so hopefully it will not be completely deleted, but adjusted to "fit" in. In the same way, I hope GGG will not nerf crazy interactions like Spore Pods with Slams or Lightning Rod with many lightning skills, but instead just add Internal Cooldowns, limiting how often the interaction can happen per second. edit: awesome video by the way, great explanations
@@KokoHekmatyarr That should go without saying, Internal Cooldowns have no meaning if Temporalis affects them the way it currently does (removing them entirely). By the way, if GGG want Temporalis to be good but not as broken, how about making it not reduce CD's, but increase CD Recovery Rate by an absurd amount? Like 100-400% inc. CD Recovery Rate or something?
im playing jungroan's build but there is no need to take away the ignite from elemental invocation. elemental invocation gets reapplied as long as they stand on burning ground. i used 2 elemental invocation, one with lvl 3 ember fussilade, one with lvl 1 spark. this then fuels all the cast on ignites. so whatever you did is kinda similar, but is taking away ignite really helping you at all?
I feel fairly certain, that if you used a +3-4 lvl wand with "gain as" mods it would give you much better dps. I run a similar setup and found that to be the case :)

I made a low budget version. It's tricky though and a few more skills you have to cast yourself. You need a lot of spirit gems. To get several cast on ignite skills and elemental invocation skill gems. You'll need a sceptre with like 200 spirit which isn't too hard to come by. I've found a few and crafted too. An amulet or body armor with spirit if you're lucky. The unique shield is less than 1 exalted on the market. I wasn't able to switch until I hit 70. It uses Eldritch Battery and that is a passive you don't want early on. Unless you are somehow hitting over 3,000 mana before level 70(you can path to it and refund if it doesn't stack your mana above 3k)
I use this with incinerate using blackflame ring. I am scaling the ignite as chaos dmg and using essence drain in cast on ignite as my source of wither. I use a lvl 4 (lowest lvl) essence drain with chain to propagate wither in packs. Honestly, mana stacking burning inscription is probably stronger.
pog idea. This is strong so theres lots of ways to go with it. Mana stacking to increase the ignite damage is whats important to me since it will generate more energy. Is there such a thing as generating too much energy? im not sure

@@leafgreenbeast It does not unfortunately but it also has a big reduced duration so it wouldn't last anyways. Blackflame is best on burning ground instead of basic ignite. You scale it with wither and despair.
Does Knockback support on essence drain also build up energy faster? I've noticed mobs running through burning ground builds up energy really fast so it might help with clear

I’ll also explain why burning inscription works the way it does to proc ignite so much. Each time cursed ground is placed and expires it places down a new burning inscription. This does not overwrite previous burning inscriptions. Each burning inscription restarts ignite on an enemy. This means for each stacked burning inscription it’s a new ignite stack on the enemy. You can really feel this when you’re bossing and you prep 5 stacks in the ground before the boss even spawns. It will instantly proc a stream of comets. I’ve also been theory crafting it a bit further since the burning inscription ignite and the impending doom supports both scale off mana I’m thinking that if you mana stack enough this build could replace storm weaver spark mana stacking for sheer instant damage. The ignite magnitude increases with your mana and spell damage. The impending doom also does. Comet is costly but will be sustainable with a ton of mana due to it resulting in a ton of mana regen. Just too poor rn, don’t got the 150 dive needed for those two rings
To push it even further you can and even more insane loop going with fireball as one of the CoI skills since for some reason it also counts as an ignite reapply
This is bugged, right? Cast on ignite shouldn't gain energy from burning ground. It only gains energy from hits that ignite, not things like burning ground, flame wall, etc.
I feel like they completely dropped the ball when it comes to POE2 because so far in early access the game doesn't play as they advertised where you'd be using multiple skills and each would do their own thing. It feels like all players are trying to do is fuel any kind of cast on automation and run a single button build that makes POE1 pale in comparison.
Poe1 pale in comparison... Cast on kill - harvest - writhing jar, Tornadow shot - asenaths mark - tornadowshot, Wardloop, Earily CoC cyclone builds. Bruh, either you never played poe 1 or you arent a poe player. But this is what we do every league, every new item, every chance we get. Just looking for a way to create more dopamines per second. "Pale in comparison" is just sooo wrong. But the gemlings are doing pretty good job at closing the gap ngl.
@@hyperlokgaming1859 it doesn't work even though it deceptively seems like it would because you can still slot it. You can test it yourself by slotting in a similar gem called "arcane surge" into a trigger set up since it has the same line of "spells that you cast yourself." If you can see the buff on your buff bar at any point and have no other sources of arcane surge then it would be working but unfortunately it never appears no matter how much mana you spend. Could be 1 or the other supports is just bugged or it could be that every content creator who would disagree is wrong. Triggered skills are not considered to be "cast by yourself" they are considered triggered. That line also serves a similar purpose in the case of minions and proxies.
Pretty sure next on the chopping block is equipping multiple same gems. I honestly don't get why they did it to supports and forgot about all the other stuff lol. But yea, those looping builds are always crazy satisfying.
i think it is intended to be able to use multiple spirit gems of same quality. the limiter they put is Spirit cost. it is just that right now. classes with spirit as their ascension are kinda too strong. Invoker and Infernalist are extremely popular classes to choose because you can abuse their spirit ascension in their kit for builds like this. As a result, classes with Spirit in their Aacension bonus are too strong at using spirit skills but classes with 0 spirit are very weak. I think they need better balance this where ascension bonuses give A LOT LESS spirit but classes without spirit have more base spirit because a huge part of spirit system in the game is lock-out for all classes because they can't simply can't get any spirit outside of sacraficing armor piece+amulet piece with spirit to have sub-optimal stats.

You could add some skeleton warriors with infernal legion/lastgasp/minioninstability for the rest of spirit to just tank you boss projectiles or rares or make aura or smh

Colossal misconception - there is NOT a patch dropping on the 12th. You will be exceptionally disappointed if you are expecting one. They're announcing when a patch will be, and what it will contain.
@@maxd.9237 you dont really need reserving for spirit (it only give us 30 spirit tho) but if u want go demon, you need reduce max life and stack ES with passive nodes and equipment, i though about that, need to check if we can fit it here
Eldritch battery is terrible keystone. I would keep that defensive layer since you lose all modifiers of ES when it gets converted. Keep your ES and take grim feast.
I think he's also doing it since it raises mana. It also raise the damage of the curse detonate. But if you have mom wouldn't no energy shield be better chaos and poison does 2x damage to es but not to mana.
ED + consume ailments seems like it could also be applicable with CoF, using freezing chaos support on something like hexblast... oh! regarding ignite: do you know if blackflame would let the ignite ride on contagion to other targets, since it's now a chaos DoT?
This sadly needs to get fixed too. The moment you trigger 10 comets/sec on unique enemies you eithef have to nerf this interaction or comet. I prefer the nerf on coi burning inscriptions.

I would just run a lowest level possible enfeeble (lowest level curse) to keep mana costs minimal. Inscription is the only part that matters anyways.

Agree. Ignite from Flame Wall does not gain energy to COI as it's not from a hit, and the ignite from ignited ground should also be treated the same.

You can increase your AOE in general then use concentrated effect on your curse to let that stay small, that way your comets hit more than one thing

I'm pretty sure that there is a unique helmet that ignites all in your presence. It might be worth considering.
Cast on ignite scales with magnitude of ignite dealt. The helmet only does 100 ignite.

Hi! can't understand the main thing: for example, I've proc COI after lots of curses and finaly hitted enemy with Essence Drain. Got some energy for new COI, but it's not enough to proc it, How can I create the loop?
Nice build is there any mature difference between using Enfeeble or Flammability other than that the one is more tanky (dmg reduce) and the other is doing some dmg? Or do i miss an important mechanic?

You want to avoid causing ailments. That way you only drain the ignite ailment, causing many ignites to happen, quickly building your energy for cast on ignite skills

When I did this, the amount of energy that Essence Drain could get is very low. I have Invoker with meta skills gaing more energy node, and got all of the meta gems gain energy nodes on skill tree. My casts speed is low, would that be detrimental for the loop? What else could I be missing?
I'm not stacking mana but currently triggering inscriptions with Bone Blast. I don't have some of the uniques here but they are increasing damage, so they wouldn't effect sustain of the loop.
Edit: I found the issue. The amount of energy gained is dependent on how much ignite damage you deal. I don't have max mana or ignite magnitude, so my energy gain is very low. Invoker is a terrible ascendancy for this build.
Can be done on Invoker (I did), only need to build as mana stacker using MoM/EB combo (basically spellcaster builds). You can also gain 2x 10% damage as cold/lightning and get some free spirit using ES chest to boot from ascendancy.

Feedback Loops are awesome in any PoE, but GGG usually doesn't enjoy having these unlimited in the game, so hopefully it will not be completely deleted, but adjusted to "fit" in. In the same way, I hope GGG will not nerf crazy interactions like Spore Pods with Slams or Lightning Rod with many lightning skills, but instead just add Internal Cooldowns, limiting how often the interaction can happen per second.

They need to make Temporalis not affect internal cooldowns first, or that would just make it even more meta.
@@KokoHekmatyarr That should go without saying, Internal Cooldowns have no meaning if Temporalis affects them the way it currently does (removing them entirely).
By the way, if GGG want Temporalis to be good but not as broken, how about making it not reduce CD's, but increase CD Recovery Rate by an absurd amount? Like 100-400% inc. CD Recovery Rate or something?

im playing jungroan's build but there is no need to take away the ignite from elemental invocation. elemental invocation gets reapplied as long as they stand on burning ground. i used 2 elemental invocation, one with lvl 3 ember fussilade, one with lvl 1 spark.
this then fuels all the cast on ignites.
so whatever you did is kinda similar, but is taking away ignite really helping you at all?
I feel fairly certain, that if you used a +3-4 lvl wand with "gain as" mods it would give you much better dps. I run a similar setup and found that to be the case :)

Since you still have 253 extra spirit you could add minions in for cannon fodder that way you don't have to worry as much about getting hit.

I made a low budget version. It's tricky though and a few more skills you have to cast yourself. You need a lot of spirit gems. To get several cast on ignite skills and elemental invocation skill gems. You'll need a sceptre with like 200 spirit which isn't too hard to come by. I've found a few and crafted too. An amulet or body armor with spirit if you're lucky. The unique shield is less than 1 exalted on the market. I wasn't able to switch until I hit 70. It uses Eldritch Battery and that is a passive you don't want early on. Unless you are somehow hitting over 3,000 mana before level 70(you can path to it and refund if it doesn't stack your mana above 3k)

I use this with incinerate using blackflame ring. I am scaling the ignite as chaos dmg and using essence drain in cast on ignite as my source of wither. I use a lvl 4 (lowest lvl) essence drain with chain to propagate wither in packs.
Honestly, mana stacking burning inscription is probably stronger.
pog idea. This is strong so theres lots of ways to go with it. Mana stacking to increase the ignite damage is whats important to me since it will generate more energy. Is there such a thing as generating too much energy? im not sure

@@leafgreenbeast It does not unfortunately but it also has a big reduced duration so it wouldn't last anyways. Blackflame is best on burning ground instead of basic ignite. You scale it with wither and despair.

It also looks identical to a build I’ve been explaining to people for 2 days now and made a post on it on mobalytics. But neat fun to see others find out how op burning inscription is
I’ll also explain why burning inscription works the way it does to proc ignite so much. Each time cursed ground is placed and expires it places down a new burning inscription. This does not overwrite previous burning inscriptions. Each burning inscription restarts ignite on an enemy. This means for each stacked burning inscription it’s a new ignite stack on the enemy.
You can really feel this when you’re bossing and you prep 5 stacks in the ground before the boss even spawns. It will instantly proc a stream of comets.
I’ve also been theory crafting it a bit further since the burning inscription ignite and the impending doom supports both scale off mana I’m thinking that if you mana stack enough this build could replace storm weaver spark mana stacking for sheer instant damage. The ignite magnitude increases with your mana and spell damage. The impending doom also does. Comet is costly but will be sustainable with a ton of mana due to it resulting in a ton of mana regen.
Just too poor rn, don’t got the 150 dive needed for those two rings
To push it even further you can and even more insane loop going with fireball as one of the CoI skills since for some reason it also counts as an ignite reapply
(If you want the absolute most ridiculous damage version of CoI loop, demon form is the way to go)

This is bugged, right? Cast on ignite shouldn't gain energy from burning ground. It only gains energy from hits that ignite, not things like burning ground, flame wall, etc.

I feel like they completely dropped the ball when it comes to POE2 because so far in early access the game doesn't play as they advertised where you'd be using multiple skills and each would do their own thing. It feels like all players are trying to do is fuel any kind of cast on automation and run a single button build that makes POE1 pale in comparison.

Considered casting requires you to use the skill yourself to gain a damage bonus
every Cast on build by every content creator would beg to differ...plus tech you are casting it by way of achieving the reqs for it to cast.
@@hyperlokgaming1859 it doesn't work even though it deceptively seems like it would because you can still slot it. You can test it yourself by slotting in a similar gem called "arcane surge" into a trigger set up since it has the same line of "spells that you cast yourself." If you can see the buff on your buff bar at any point and have no other sources of arcane surge then it would be working but unfortunately it never appears no matter how much mana you spend. Could be 1 or the other supports is just bugged or it could be that every content creator who would disagree is wrong.
Triggered skills are not considered to be "cast by yourself" they are considered triggered. That line also serves a similar purpose in the case of minions and proxies.
Pretty sure next on the chopping block is equipping multiple same gems. I honestly don't get why they did it to supports and forgot about all the other stuff lol.
But yea, those looping builds are always crazy satisfying.
i think it is intended to be able to use multiple spirit gems of same quality. the limiter they put is Spirit cost. it is just that right now. classes with spirit as their ascension are kinda too strong. Invoker and Infernalist are extremely popular classes to choose because you can abuse their spirit ascension in their kit for builds like this. As a result, classes with Spirit in their Aacension bonus are too strong at using spirit skills but classes with 0 spirit are very weak.
I think they need better balance this where ascension bonuses give A LOT LESS spirit but classes without spirit have more base spirit because a huge part of spirit system in the game is lock-out for all classes because they can't simply can't get any spirit outside of sacraficing armor piece+amulet piece with spirit to have sub-optimal stats.
u still got 150 spirit left , what if u use archmage on this , and ditch the sceptre for a real wand?
your mana regen is out the window with archmage cause you're now making your 5 mana ember fusillades cost over 200 mana each.

You could add some skeleton warriors with infernal legion/lastgasp/minioninstability for the rest of spirit to just tank you boss projectiles or rares or make aura or smh
Blackflame amethyst ring would round out everything once they fix it, turning all your ignites into chaos damage for more dps

the conversion is after damage step. so you don't get bonus damage. you only get bonus dmg if you up the fire damage stat.

Colossal misconception - there is NOT a patch dropping on the 12th. You will be exceptionally disappointed if you are expecting one. They're announcing when a patch will be, and what it will contain.

no, you need to spec into life for stacking spirit, you cant sustain demon form for long with 2k+ hp
@@maxd.9237 you dont really need reserving for spirit (it only give us 30 spirit tho) but if u want go demon, you need reduce max life and stack ES with passive nodes and equipment, i though about that, need to check if we can fit it here

From my testing, since you have no mana, Burning Inscription does no damage and so doesn't ignite at all
Eldritch battery is terrible keystone. I would keep that defensive layer since you lose all modifiers of ES when it gets converted. Keep your ES and take grim feast.
I think he's also doing it since it raises mana. It also raise the damage of the curse detonate. But if you have mom wouldn't no energy shield be better chaos and poison does 2x damage to es but not to mana.
