‘Military grade’ is useful if you have a detailed understanding of your requirements because military contracts have detailed specifications that must be met, but they’re often very low or very high depending on the application, compared to consumer usage. Basically you can use government standards, among other standards bodies, as a benchmarks and decide what you need.

@@IRaoulDuke Are you a new MJK fan? He is the definition of "douche". And I love Tool.
@xMaGuSx888 lol I've been listening to MJK since 92, seen tool live 4 times and apc 3 times. Your bar for douch must be pretty low. I'm sure GN has nothing to worry about getting sued.
13:27 but you referenced it while trying to not reference it… You did the Streisand effect
Those 50XX series are giving me a lot of red flags, maybe waiting for a AMD card isn't so bad of a idea, my 3060 Ti still kicking strong anyway, can wait.
Nice entertaining , informative and consumer friendly
Steve's archeological hawk diatribes are often the subject of fine after dinner conversation at our house....
I will never forget the yellow themed 600/700 generation MSI Lightning cards. They were my dream back then. I absolutely loved those designs.
love this channel so much thanks steve!
When manufacturers are spending more time on lights and art than practicality... that should be ringing alarm bells to stay well away.
People by that stuff dude. I also don't like the designs. I can't stand that childish looking 3 fan super duper LED shit. I like LEDs for ambient mood but you can overdo it. Not every frigging thing in your PC case needs to be lit up.
As a veteran, I snorted when you mentioned "military grade"
I can't wait for the benchies!

I have this sneaking suspicion that this Steve fellow is allowing himself to be facetious, if even, sarcastic.
if you will..
I am working on a square fan design. It will easily out perform all circular fans because it doesn't waste the space on the corners. It's an xyz world, people.
And it will be pegged at 100% duty cycle to also maximise utilisation of the fourth dimension.
Have you tried using AI to generate the corners? No need to "brute force" air flow
"all these squares make a circle"
Thanks Steve, barn storming video looking at these third party manufacturers. I have a Gainwood 4090 and I think with the 4090 there really wasn't much different between the companies. Cooling tech was pretty limited. So will probably go with the Phantom. Thanks for this amazing video! 👍
Interesting lineup, I'm excited to see how they actually perform, and can't wait to not be able to find these cards in stock for anywhere close to MSRP for the next few years!
@3:50 There is actually only 1 fan, the others are AI generated
😂😂😂😂😂
9:45 we certify these components were rinsed off in a dirty river in rural china and then repackaged and shipped to us
Did... Did nVidia... Did they issue some competition for AIBs to make fantasy card names/designs?
Oh... I know... The copy was written by AI and the OEMs have tried to implement what AI thought up. Explains the Shark/Falcon/Hawk thing... and the rest.
Thank you Steve for being Brutal by Nature when dealing with the marketing speak and being committed to us 201%!
One of the best Gamers Nexus videos I've seen. You had me entertained and laughing throughout the whole video. You'd get a gold star from your teacher for sure! lol
If I give Nvidia $200 for a 5090, do you think they can use AI to make it $2000? Everybody wins ^ ^
What kind of abomination is this GPU? It looks like it was designed as a punishment. 14:54
you guys are a prime model for what every contant creator should strive to be
"Certified military grade...TUF Balls." xDDDD
