Alright, I wasn't subscribed already but I will subscribe for this. This is the cleanest tutorial I have seen in ages, I first got my fundamentals off the DaggerG tutorials on GameFAQs. As a matter of fact my long time training partner is a Hugo main so Remy v. Hugo is what I have played more than any other fighting game at all.

throwing LoV, dash then Throw works; especially if the opponent LOVES to parry fireballs. if you think you're a BIT out range to throw them after they parry, that's where the HK kara throw comes in

You can actually hit confirm a single LOV into super in the corner without EX. At least low LOV is cancelable for its entire animation.

You missed my favorite thing about sa1! The pretty much safe wakeup with ex flash cancel first hit into sa1 lol

I've been thinking that SA1 on wake-up is better right? I think they can throw him out of it but other than that it's good right?

@@JiBbo Just preference I guess. I like to use the ex cancel against characters that can kill off of one kd like dudley or makoto when I absolutely need to push them back. It does ok damage = and puts you in good position if it hits as well.
The wake up sa1 usually trades and they are still in your face, and yes it can get grabbed, but it often hits if they mistime the meaty or go for some kind of overhead. Less expensive than the ex cancel tho. Both have their uses.
