And I find it very interesting to note that Dr. Paige's button is the button for 'Very Easy', while Ian's button is the 'Very Hard' button. It's an interesting detail.
To be fair, Dr. Paige shows signs that she studied medicine, but doesn't want the programs since she'd think she wasted her years studying, while Ian on the other hand is the one who made it, therefore being a professional

It's SO fun to play along to that, by flicking a finger to the rhythm, or slamming your hand on a blanket or something. Very empowering. :D

Saying "anymore" suggests we had more realistic voice acting in the past, but it's always been a mixed bag on whenever that is the style choice. Old acting was actually considered good when it had that forced tone.

This music is so great can't wait for the full release, I get the feeling the old lady will pass away during the game since the her piano music is so sad... plus her husband has a photo of the two of them. Playing the game myself it is easy to get attached to the characters. Invisible is my fav song by far... my fav song may change after full release.

Super impressive. I'll never get S+ on every level, but I'll be happy to get them on just a few! This game is the BEST. Also, Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) is a thing I've experienced personally and -- aside from being a fine Super Hexagon reference -- that stage is one of the best representations of how scary a PSVT event can be... heart going 140-180 BPM for minutes at a time, and then the normal rhythm feels super slow.
I don't know whether or not I should be proud I immediately knew 4-4 was Andrew Huang. Love his music and I'm glad to see it represented in such a great game.
Yeah, I wanted to avoid perfecting that one song. But I made myself play it anyway and not perfect it. Irregular time hurts my head. I was counting the fastest I’ve ever counted and I perfected it. It was still hell. Perfecting Super Battleworn Insomniac is gonna be one time thing for me.

Anything involving the Stevenson couple has some of the most lovely music in this game, to me. I love the hard driving beats of some of the other pieces, but the reflective, melancholic notes of the Stevensons hit me on a personal level somehow.

It’s been a while since I last checked out this game, and with Friday Night Funkin being all I’ve seen for a few weeks, I think I’m gonna get on this train for a while
16:49 I really can relate to this song I am a 15yo kid and I go to school and my god when I get all of the things that make me happy taken away as motivation, then after that still have them taken away it just sucks. I know myself better than anyone and how my parents parent does not work with me, it makes me feel like I'm never enough. I will be passing all of my classes some just barely but I have always gotten them up the last time I got a c was in 6th grade I am a freshman now. I just feel like whatever I do, someone has already done it better, and faster. I have 2 older brothers who are very smart and look like they know what they are doing, both are becoming engineers. My oldest brother is like the top 10 in his class and my brother said he hated it and has now changed what engineering he is doing. I only have 2 things that make me a lot happier and one very reliant one has been taken away so I have not felt the best, and I was not doing too hot before that either so I am more afraid that I will collapse because I don't show how I feel if I'm sad so if I ever do I don't know what will happen. I think it is common for people who are depressed to just be very scared at showing themself because I can take hurtful words from anyone other than the people who I am true to, so I don't know how to tell my parents how I feel. Because they say all happiness doesn't come from video games, or basically any at all so I don't know how to tell them that it does because I have other things that I only tell a few people and I think I should tell them, but I just have no way. So I just needed to tell someone who can't judge me because my friends would be fine but I only really have one friend that I feel could help me. I was so invested in listening to All the Times and admiring how cool it sounded that I didn't even notice Connectifia Abortus was present until Ian mentioned it after the song.
I had this playing in the background and had to switch over because the video started stuttering during Super Battleworn Insomniac for absolutely no reason. There was even a grey part to the video bar.
Something I noticed is, that a few songs got a bit more "simplified" On the Act 1 boss are the effects during the event not that extreme anymore. Some of the screen glitches have been replaced with a long static. And 2-3 is that long coffee scene with 9+ smaller too (Or at least it feels like that)
i think they extended 1-X with the long static part, i see it in some playthroughs but i dont in others. Maybe its when you miss more hits the virus dies slower and you have to do more??

I'm not saying it's the easiest level, but it actually was the only that I clicked with first before even the earlier labels. Real shit, Insomniac daytime was legit the first and only level I perfected for a long time. I don't think it deviates even once from the beat except maybe once at the very end. The visuals and audio glitches are just a distraction. Keep trying if you haven't gotten it yet! Try closing your eyes. That's how I got it 😌

I got damn close on 3-X. I've never worked in the medical industry myself, but I have worked in service, and the combination of crushing demands and high stress without any gratitude from the people that you're trying to help is a feeling that I've experienced, and I'd imagine that the stress of working as a doctor is several magnitudes greater than that of my puny fast food gig, especially since someone's life is at stake. I have nothing but respect for the doctors and pharmacists that work tirelessly to safeguard others' well-being, often at the expense of their own well-being.

Anything involving the Stevenson couple has some of the most lovely music in this game, to me. I love the hard driving beats of some of the other pieces, but the reflective, melancholic notes of the Stevensons hit me on a personal level somehow.

I really can relate to this song I am a 15yo kid and I go to school and my god when I get all of the things that make me happy taken away as motivation, then after that still have them taken away it just sucks. I know myself better than anyone and how my parents parent does not work with me, it makes me feel like I'm never enough. I will be passing all of my classes some just barely but I have always gotten them up the last time I got a c was in 6th grade I am a freshman now. I just feel like whatever I do, someone has already done it better, and faster. I have 2 older brothers who are very smart and look like they know what they are doing, both are becoming engineers. My oldest brother is like the top 10 in his class and my brother said he hated it and has now changed what engineering he is doing. I only have 2 things that make me a lot happier and one very reliant one has been taken away so I have not felt the best, and I was not doing too hot before that either so I am more afraid that I will collapse because I don't show how I feel if I'm sad so if I ever do I don't know what will happen. I think it is common for people who are depressed to just be very scared at showing themself because I can take hurtful words from anyone other than the people who I am true to, so I don't know how to tell my parents how I feel. Because they say all happiness doesn't come from video games, or basically any at all so I don't know how to tell them that it does because I have other things that I only tell a few people and I think I should tell them, but I just have no way. So I just needed to tell someone who can't judge me because my friends would be fine but I only really have one friend that I feel could help me. So if you are reading this you either skipped or read that whole thing, so hi, if you can drop any advice on some help any is lovely. 😅

I was so invested in listening to All the Times and admiring how cool it sounded that I didn't even notice Connectifia Abortus was present until Ian mentioned it after the song.

I had this playing in the background and had to switch over because the video started stuttering during Super Battleworn Insomniac for absolutely no reason. There was even a grey part to the video bar.
Something I noticed is, that a few songs got a bit more "simplified"
On the Act 1 boss are the effects during the event not that extreme anymore. Some of the screen glitches have been replaced with a long static. And 2-3 is that long coffee scene with 9+ smaller too (Or at least it feels like that)
i think they extended 1-X with the long static part, i see it in some playthroughs but i dont in others. Maybe its when you miss more hits the virus dies slower and you have to do more??
@@xela953because there's a virus health bar, if you don't get the full combo then the health bar doesn't reach 0 in time, making the song extend with static

Insomniac is actually very easy if you count the heart beats in your head or just sing the song like it was before the wifi virus jammed the song
I'm not saying it's the easiest level, but it actually was the only that I clicked with first before even the earlier labels. Real shit, Insomniac daytime was legit the first and only level I perfected for a long time. I don't think it deviates even once from the beat except maybe once at the very end. The visuals and audio glitches are just a distraction. Keep trying if you haven't gotten it yet! Try closing your eyes. That's how I got it 😌

I got damn close on 3-X. I've never worked in the medical industry myself, but I have worked in service, and the combination of crushing demands and high stress without any gratitude from the people that you're trying to help is a feeling that I've experienced, and I'd imagine that the stress of working as a doctor is several magnitudes greater than that of my puny fast food gig, especially since someone's life is at stake. I have nothing but respect for the doctors and pharmacists that work tirelessly to safeguard others' well-being, often at the expense of their own well-being.
