When I was younger, I played this game for ours, but never took the time to actually practice the teachings this game throws. Now that I am a musician, I want to play this game again. The lockstep game is this the best example for rhythm practice 39:07

I never had a DS but I remember playing the display one at toys r us and I was playing this game for like 2 minutes and I had no idea what to do and I didn’t know how to leave the game and I remember it was on the first level with the green background and those white things and then I was watching this random TH-cam video and the guy was talking about this game and showed a picture and I instantly recognized it
1:05:00 I never quite enjoyed the difficulty mountain remix 8 is, but goodness me, I absolutely love the way the drop builds up to Lockstep then Lockstep builds up to the drop.
This gives me some serious nostalgia. In like 2016 my father used to play this game all the time in the summer when he wasn’t working. My sister and I would always watch him play it on his DS. I never actually got a copy of the game but I definitely played it (and probably didn’t like it). Eventually one day he forgot about it and I did too honestly, until I found a rhythm game, I’m sure most of us here know about, and I searched for other rhythm games and then I rediscovered the joys of Rhythm Heaven. Today, I asked my dad if he can look for it. He found it and I will play today after my online classes end. Oh boy i’m excited to get back into it. I remember his favorite one was the glee club. Or maybe he just didnt pass it lol but he kept playing it all the time and idk if he actually did lose or if he just kept replaying but i think it was his favorite.

I do think Karate Joe would function well, but even crazier would be one rep from each RH game! Wandering Samurai from Tengoku, Karate Hoe from this, and then Marshall and Tibby from Heaven and Megamix. If I had to pick one, definitely Joe though.

From the description : "Fun fact - The stages I had the most trouble perfecting was Remix 1... The reason for this is that the fillbots section is actually timed wrong. You can't hit them on the right time or else that fails you, you have to be intentionally late lol." On the french version that happens on the Rockers (I don't remember if it's the first version or the second one), but I haven't found out what I have to do to get it right. Other than that I think the hardest to get perfect for me is pingpong 2, it's basically the only one I never got on perfect except the bugged one.
Dj school is my absolute favourite. Honestly it could be harder, but its kinda like ringside in rhythm heaven fever in the sense that its very easy but super enjoyable. The drumming one is also nice to listen to, and the “iiii suppose!” one is nice to watch.

I never had a DS but I remember playing the display one at toys r us and I was playing this game for like 2 minutes and I had no idea what to do and I didn’t know how to leave the game and I remember it was on the first level with the green background and those white things and then I was watching this random TH-cam video and the guy was talking about this game and showed a picture and I instantly recognized it
1:05:00 I never quite enjoyed the difficulty mountain remix 8 is, but goodness me, I absolutely love the way the drop builds up to Lockstep then Lockstep builds up to the drop.
This gives me some serious nostalgia. In like 2016 my father used to play this game all the time in the summer when he wasn’t working. My sister and I would always watch him play it on his DS. I never actually got a copy of the game but I definitely played it (and probably didn’t like it). Eventually one day he forgot about it and I did too honestly, until I found a rhythm game, I’m sure most of us here know about, and I searched for other rhythm games and then I rediscovered the joys of Rhythm Heaven. Today, I asked my dad if he can look for it. He found it and I will play today after my online classes end. Oh boy i’m excited to get back into it. I remember his favorite one was the glee club. Or maybe he just didnt pass it lol but he kept playing it all the time and idk if he actually did lose or if he just kept replaying but i think it was his favorite.

Well I rather have a character tagt can utilize lots of the rhythm heaven game rather than Karate Joe being a Ryu/Ken and putting the wandering samurai as another sword character
I do think Karate Joe would function well, but even crazier would be one rep from each RH game! Wandering Samurai from Tengoku, Karate Hoe from this, and then Marshall and Tibby from Heaven and Megamix. If I had to pick one, definitely Joe though.
I'm thinking karate Joe would work, as long as he has a rhythm component (button presses have to be 1,2,3,4)

On the french version that happens on the Rockers (I don't remember if it's the first version or the second one), but I haven't found out what I have to do to get it right. Other than that I think the hardest to get perfect for me is pingpong 2, it's basically the only one I never got on perfect except the bugged one.
Dj school is my absolute favourite. Honestly it could be harder, but its kinda like ringside in rhythm heaven fever in the sense that its very easy but super enjoyable. The drumming one is also nice to listen to, and the “iiii suppose!” one is nice to watch.
