Tears of the Kingdom reprises several classic, iconic Zelda moments!
Let's take a look at their original version and compare them with their latest iteration in TotK.

The master sword pull from the light dragon in TOTK was so exceptional because it was so different from the "pull the sword from the stone in the forest" from previous games, particularly BOTW, and was brilliantly weaved into TOTK's narrative.
I have to admit, the camera work was superb. Really shows off the beauty of totk

I think you could also add the king dodongo eating bombs, he appears in zelda 1, ocarina of time, oracle of seasons and now in totk when froxes try to eat you, you can throw flower bombs nad they'll show an animation similar to ocarina of time

Its funny...even though TOTK is clearly not HD, compared to other systems, when going back and forth it really shows how beautiful it truly is... And quite honestly z how beautiful Zelda games have always been

The only bell I had the idea to ring was on Hyrule's Castle top. I wasn't ready to see a korok poping though !
Great job, guys, a wave of nostalgia swept over me watching yet another incredible video. I've kind of wondered why Light Dragon Zelda in TotK was trying to toss Link as he was pulling the Master Sword. I suppose she just wanted to make sure it was the real and worthy Hero of Legend, Link.
It’s explained that “to become an immortal dragon is to lose oneself.” When Zelda became the Light Dragon she lost her conscious identity, in essence becoming insentient. So, as a dragon, she was basically mindless. When Link attempted to pull the Master Sword, the Light Dragon reacted in pain.
Personally, if I someone tried to pull a sword out of my forehead, I would react in immense pain as well.

Breaking all the rocks during the descent to Ganondorf in TOTK reminded me of having to bash through all those square bricks that get thrown your way in dungeons in Zelda 2 on NES :P

Pulling the Master Sword section should have included the other games like Twilight Princess , Skward Sword, and Wind Waker.

In the other Zelda games, you pull out the Master Sword from a pedestal. In TotK, you PULL OUT of Zelda!!!

I thought the lily pads in ALTTP were actually tree stumps.
They'd have to be close to the ground if they were pads.
i wonder.... what was the magic sword in the original? It never came back did it? Is it like the goron sword? Or that fierce deity sword?

It was just the strongest sword in that game. The whole master sword thing didn't start until LTTP.

Bomb Flower also exists in Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. Though there is only one in each game...

Nice to reflect on where where we are now. And where we came from ya? Puts things in perspective. Things have changed alot. Yet not as much as you would think.
I’m upset Link didn’t wear the Green Tunic in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. I want him to wear that so when he faces Gleeok, it would be just like that memory.
In all games link can wear his classic tunic lmao.
@Isa-wy6zy I think they mean it's not his default look anymore, but yes, you can change his outfit however you please (after finding it, paying for it, or changing it)

In all the games you mentioned, you can wear multiple green tunics lol
And the reason for it to not being the default tunic anymore, is because in the game you can wear tons of different costumes, so they decided to make the default look different entirely.
Where's Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword's Retrieving the Master Sword scenes? Those games have the Master Sword in them as well. Dislike for ignoring them.
