colgera is terrifying in the depths, just imagine this your in one of the abandoned mines and you see a huge twisted shadow hovering above you and you look up to see a gaint ice dragon
Well you have to finish the rito dungeon to have him to appear so you're like "oh no him again ?..."
It's more annoying than anything when you can't see him and have little to no arrows

I think the gloom hands are the scariest character in TOTK, but nothing compares to the fear I felt when I encountered Ocarina of Time ReDeads.
The fact that the second Ganon phase can literally take away a heart rather than locking it makes sense for the character as a whole.
Gloom can suck the strength out of you and lock down hearts so you can't heal by normal means. But during the second phase against the final boss, some of his attacks just outright removes them, which is much worse if you go in unprepared.
Just like he did at the start of the game.

I think gloom damage and Ganondorf "permanent" damage were done a little wrong.
I noticed that sometimes, only the hearts you already lost were getting attacked, making fights easier.
For example: you have 20 hearts, but due to a few fights, you're down to 7/20 hearts.
You take damage from gloom enemies, and they deal damage to the HP you already lost, so instead of dropping to, say, 4/20, you drop to 7/17, with 17 being your initial 20 minus the 3 "broken" hearts.
Then, it's the same deal with Ganondorf. Some of his attacks deal normal damage, which is what you'd expect, but some attacks take away hearts that you already lost... Including "broken" hearts. So, in my previous example, gloom enemies "broke" 3 of my hearts, so I was at 7/17, but then Ganondorf attacks and removes those 3 broken hearts... Okay, so I'm down to........ 7/17 again?!? Surely his next attacks will kill me, right? Nope! He removes my lost hearts, so... I'm down to 7/14, 7/11, 7/8.
Great idea, but not the best execution in my opinion! 😅
@@KillerKill95 I think it was pretty well-executed, apart from the slow rate at which gloom hands damage you, and the fact that it doesnt even let you go cook something up for the fight like a sunny dish
No kidding. I was kinda terrified. Didn't bring any gloom food, only four fairies. I wanted to see what happens in the end so much I refused to farm sundelions. One of my favorite boss experiences, still heat him first time, but nearly failed
I disagree mostly with the gibdo placement. I loved their addition, and figuring out myself that you need to use elemental attacks made it really satisfying to mow them down afterwards
the first time I saw a gibdo, there was an electricity fruit tree next to it, so literally the first attack ever on a gibdo type enemy was me shooting an electric arrow at him. I didn't even know that people had trouble with them at first
@Heisenberg i used ice my first time. For a while I thought they were only weak to ice, but after doing gerudo questline, i learned it was any elemental attacks

I used fire first because it’s kind of a media trope for zombies or similar creatures to be weak to fire, and it worked so I just kept doing it.

Yeah "this white guy" totally looked like he was kicking the player's ass. Also I wonder what happened to master mode/golden variants of enemies. I'm just curious about how much damage their horns would do

EDIT: i noticed a pattern on the Lynel Saber horns, red is 22 dmg, blue is 33 dmg, white is 44 dmg, Silver is 55 dmg so Gold would most likely be 66 dmg.
@@M1A2C. I'd lowkey be disappointed if the gold lynel horn was only 11+ extra damage compared to a silver lynel horn. A silver lynel only has 4500 HP and a Gold has 7500.
I suppose the idea is that it isn't a great felling using high-tier mats on a bokoblin.
The demon dragon is a perfect example of a “cathartic” phase. It’s meant to be a cinematic spectacle after you’ve beaten the final boss, it’s not designed to be difficult. Plus the execution was much much better than dark beast ganon

Quite funny how opinions differ from one and another. I loved the fact that no one spoke in the final boss phase as it just felt way more epic that way. It was a "you know what to do" moment for me.

it wasnt even ganondorf himself anymore. he told you before going in dragon mode "i dont care if i lose my soul and character". it was just the pure will to destroy. primal instinct. thats how i understood it. so i am glad there was no dialogue.

Queen Gibdo is by far one of my favorite bosses. Her design and her second phase cranking up the difficulty significantly (at least to the point where your combat loop isn't stun-n-done) made the fight feel tense on the first go round and cool as hell on the victory lap.
No Bossfight has ever made me want to put a g*n in my mouth and pull the trigger more than the queen gibdo fight
I did so many time trying fight them. In both games the hardest boss was in the desert and I hate it

I think if they put a couple of phantom ganons on the back of the Demon Dragon, it would have made the fight 10x better
lemme add to that: if he had a gloom beam that tracks you at a reasonable speed like the gleeok, then it would be 20x better. but then again, I think that would cause the game to lag to an extent. also, phantom demon dragons rushing to eat you (may cause the game to break).
Wait, idea for a master mode, every time you have to try to destroy a crystal spine on the back of Dragondorf, (my custom name for the Ganon dragon) You have to fight the old BOTW bosses.
Another idea for DLCs:
When the Ground opened up, it swallowed up the divine beasts, and when you go down to the Depths, at the corners of the map, you could find the divine beasts and remember the fights that happened inside them, just like the old Champions ballad DLC.
After remembering them, you could get the Divine beasts to crawl out of the Depths and help fight against the new story bosses!
Vah Medoh:
Uses its laser cannons to fight against the Colgera, blasting it whenever it tries to grab you from underneath.
Vah Rudania: Uses it’s ability to fire out boulders to blast away the Ghoma’s legs.
Vah Naboris: Blasts the nests with lightning to help you with the Gibdo swarms.
Vah Ruta: Drenches the entire battlefield every minute completely cleaning it.
man should have put oktorocks in mid. if you throw a weapon at the elden ones they give the weapon a modification like damage but they throw them back at you.
Tbh I disagree. Phantom ganon, ganondorf, and demon king are all essentially variations of the same moveset. So by the time you get to demon dragon you’ve already fought that moveset at least 3 times (more if you killed gloom hands). Making you fight even more of them would just be repetitive. Now a gloom version of literally anything else I’d be down for, but phantom ganons would just be tedious more than anything since the player is more than knowledgeable on how to beat them at that point
@@JacobPDeIiNoNi fair point, that would work also. I just think having any sort of gloom enemy on the back of the dragon would give it more of a challenge in trying to hit the eyes on the back.
Aracuda's drop important parts you can't underestimate their importance for that reason. That they one shot its good actually. you need their parts before you have good weapons.

The problem is we already have "weak flying enemy" in the form of Keese. Aerocuda's are no tougher than Keese to fight which is a shame.

I feel the last phase of Ganondorf’s fight im shouldn’t be judged harshly based on the fact there’s no dialogue or extreme combat. The fact ya struggled with his 2nd form was probably why they made it so that his final fight was simply a thematic piece

I really love the flux constructs because they truly exemplify an enemy that you can defeat in any way you like. You can literally use any of your four powers (recall, ultrahand, ascend, and yes even fuse) at various stages of the fight against these guys. I literally got about halfway through the game before finding out that I could use ultrahand to pick them apart or ascend to get on top of them. It’s a fight that you curate.

Colgera is my favorite dungeon boss other than Ganondorf. The dragon roost island theme, the cinematic cutscene, flying through the air with tulin, it was just way too good. Demon King ganondorf is my favorite boss over all. Also demon dragon is super good, i thought it was super cool and I can accept it being easy after a 3 phase boss fight with gloom
You are the first person I’ve seen who actually liked dark beast ganon
For constructs, I recommend fusing construct horns to construct swords, spears and 2 handed swords. They become really nice, plus, they also have immunity to electric attacks. Yes, the first constructs were very mid, bad even, but the higher end ones had really nice loot.

Am I the only one who hates the Evermeans(Walking trees)? The way the walk, the tree roots and the way it just pops up really gross me out. So whenever I’m in dense forests, I tend to take the highground to avoid them. The jumpscare always frustrates me a lot seeing a weird ahh lil tree chasing after me
Edit: Also my favourite boss fight is Moragia so I was disappointed not seeing it make on the list

Fun fact: the trees are actually the Yiga clan. If you do a side quest to get the Yiga armor set and go into the Yiga clan hideout like a normal Yiga, you can talk to some of the other members, and one guy says that Link will never guess their new plan: to pose as trees.

I fought the Seized Construct right after Colgera, so it's safe to say I had a VERY tough time with it, but that difficulty actually made the fight really fun for me, I had to be really cautious and resourceful to not get obliterated or drain my battery. Also for Queen Gibdo getting rid of the hives and using a mirror shield was meant to be the highlight of the battle
I didn’t know that there was a fifth temple because I put off Crisis at Hyrule Castle until I had the master sword, 3 stamina wheels and 10 hearts as well as a maxed champions leathers and almost maxed Hylian hood and trousers. So when I made it to seized construct and I realized I could just use a flame emitter to repeatedly stun him and if I did get hit my OP armor would reduce the damage to a quarter of a heart it was too easy to be enjoyable for me. I did like the aspect of a boxing match though, made me feel like Mike Tyson as a mech lol

Edit: You can use yunobos roll when you beat the goro boss as a way to still attack it through the tornados with gibdo queen
I really like how when you fight the bokoblin boss ,everyone of of the bokoblins surround the boss which is a really cool detail
Tip: You Can Deflect The Malice That Ganondorf shoots at you to him (i think it auto aims too)
and for the queen gibdo fight you have to wait for her to be fully stunned not moving and in the second phase i would reccomend keeping your distance and focus on the pods and also occasionally shoot her with shock/fire arrows
another thing is ganondorf can somewhat flurry rush you so if you dodge his attack and you are about to flurry rush him PREPARE to dodge again but after dodging the 2nd time you can freely hit him
For the most part agree, but I personally rate Lizalfos higher.
While they're kinda annoying to fight overcoming them always gives me a minor sense of accomplishment especially after the hell I had facing them in Trial of the Sword DLC and doing it again on Master Mode.
Plus c'mon dude they easily have some of the coolest horns once they reach silver level. Ye tho dope tier list lol.
The reason you had trouble with gamondorf was because of how bad you gear was and the fact that you did a very small amount of shrines. If you explored more and went looking for shrines you wouldn’t have had that much trouble. I did 110 shrines before the final fight.
I wonder what he did in the game. At first I thought this might've been his first Zelda game, but he played BotW at least. So I'm a bit confused why he was so unprepared. No offense to him
I was litteraly like at the same amount of hp or 1 more and i beat ganondorf after some tries
I did ganondorf having like 14 -15 hearts and only level 1 armor, he was pretty difficult but tons of fun. I’m glad I didn’t overprepare, the fight would’ve felt too easy to me.

@@RamJamDee I had 16 defense and very little food. He basically 2 shot me and I had no ability to heal. Made it very fun since I actually had to learn attack patterns

I realised in the depths that you can use ANY elemental attck against queen gibdo and THEN you use riju's lightning and it has the same effect

The buildup to finding Ganondorf waiting deep in the depths is the most incredible thing ever. The music changing the closer you get to him, goodness me!!
Every single design of his was incredible as well as his voice. I loved it so much! I remember the way going up to ganondorf in the castle in TP, thinking that was the greatest buildup ever, boy did they out do themselves with him in this game. I just wish they gave the story way more focus!

The living tree is called an Evermean which is a play on the word evergreen a class of trees that remain green all year round no matter the season like pine trees.
The squid shark boss and zoras domain with the sludge would fit perfect in super mario sunshine and when ganon goes super charged with malice its gets quite intense having to do it when forgetting to make more than 1 sundeliin dish

Sorry to say this, but a lot of your opinions are very uninformed to say the least...
I really like your take on things like the Wizrobes, Aerocudas, and Lizalfos, but when you say things like "horriblins just go on the wall and throw rocks", "the Constructs/Flux Constructs dont drop anything good" and the fact that you had no idea that Luminous Talus' existed previously, it kinda disqualifies you from ranking them.
Do some more research and really reflect on it before you go and make a video bashing things you aren't very familiar with.
Id have to agree with you, also I would've separated out all the elemental versions+things like battle talus (which imo are one of the best enemies in the game, for how you cant just climb up then, and have to put yourself at risk to use ascend, find a way to gain elevation or make a machine) my own personal least favorite enemy is Electric Lizal, their AOE shock animation has no wind up, and all of a sudden your just shocked and drop your weapon, as well as your shield if your using a 1 hander. this annoyance wouldve been offset if there was an elemental that deletes them from existence like using fire on an ice, and using ice on a fire. Also the horriblin parts are EXCEPTIONALLY useful

Ganon in his second stage always flurry rushes your flurry rush, but somehow I discovered that if you time it right and actually use flurry rush the second link touches the ground after bullet time Ganon won’t dodge and you can hit him like normal

Was I the only one who enjoyed the gohma fight really? I didn’t really find it annoying but it was challenging depending on when you do the fight. Plus it’s gohma it’s nice to see a returning boss reimagined

I love gohma I was so happy to see a new one and was not disappointed.
i loved every enemy in this game no matter how much i struggled against them, every fight including the final boss was absolutely thrilling, and it was a fun experience (though i can see why some people might not like some fights)
Seized construct boss fight is much better when you fight it before Ganondorf as it's Link vs a giant robot instead of robot vs robot
If you find the right yiga book I think it’s in the main yiga hideout on the surface it mentions they are disguising as trees to attack link

Evermeans (tree enemy) are the only enemy other than the Gloom Hands to put me on edge, walking through the depths and suddenly 5 Evermeans are on you. leaving you in a state of confusion and fear.
evermeans had me side-eyeing trees everytime I was near one even though I was at the point where they werent a threat at all

I disagree with the statement that flux constructs give bad rewards. The tier 3 ones give a great weapon attachment giving you a really damn strong weapon, which is nice considering that they are fairly easy to fight. Its also fun as hell to either rip blocks of with ultra hand or just straight up fuse them to your weapons (even though it doesn't provide a large attack boos). Once you find alot they also make a great source of zonaite charges making farming zonaite devices way easier, plus the tier 3 ones give large charges which are normally a pain in the ass to fight. All of this combines to make them at least in my opinion of the funnest/best enemies to fight
For the same reason you put Chuchus in mid I would also move Keese into mid. In BotW they were so annoying because you didn’t need any more monster parts, but in TotK there eyes and wings are so much better with fuse. And I actively try to kill them to get their eyes. Also the Keese flock is a fun variant to find.
The wizard dudes can get you alot of rupees if you farm them, considering you can break apart the gem from the wands or whatever they use and sell the gem
I think you forgot to mention that huge sand monster in the Gerudp desert
i woulda placed gibdos a bit higher in my opinion, when they start crawling and chasing after u they're really intimidating and then i also thought the moth gibdos were pretty cool too

I wish that each region had their own unique enemy similar to the Gerudo with the Gibdos.
For Eldin and Death Mountain, maybe there could’ve been miniature Moragia that are like OoT Dodongos.
For Zora’s Domain, the shark that Mucktorock turns into could’ve been an enemy. Since it’s a fish, I think Gyorg could’ve been a perfect name. The Mucktorock boss would also have to change.
For Hebra, the Aerocudas are underwhelming enemies and they could’ve been more like Aeralfos from TP. Maybe they’re really strong in the air, so you have to shoot them to bring them to the ground where they’re weaker. They’ll still be able to carry enemies to make interesting combat encounters.
The flux construct actually has really good loot, the devices and charges are super nice, I always feel like I hit the jackpot after killing them. And the fuse part they drop isn't great, UNLESS you fuse it to a zonaite weapon, then it gets a massive boost in damage

Bro the trees are actually the Yiga Clan. You can find it in a note in one of their bases in the depths saying that they lure Link with bananas and that they even hide in trees and made these trees attack link. :D
You did the Queen Gibdo fight wrong though, you need to open up the pillars for the light beams, the light beams instantly stun and weaken all the gibdos making it super easy (that and sand shoes, fuck that boss without sand shoes).
Now this is real tears of the kingdom😂
