Bridge of Balgie Glen Lyon Perthshire Road Less Travelled

Welcome to my "Roads less Travelled" videos on this channel which are designed to provide the opportunity for adventure motorcyclists to ride their large capacity motorcycles on both sealed single track roads (STR) and unsealed roads in Scotland.
Thus providing the opportunity to see places and sites most miss out on whilst travelling the main routes of Scotland.
This video contains onboard camera footage taken by me during this ride out in and around Glen Lyon whilst enroute to the Glen Lyon Tearoom at Bridge of Balgie.
l recently did this ride out with friends from our motorcycle group Motorrad Madness.
The Bridge "Brig" of Balgie is a hamlet in Glen Lyon Perth and Kinross, Scotland and lies at the junction between the east-west single track road along the foot of the glen from Fortinghall to Loch Lyon and the unclassified mountain road running over the western shoulder of Ben Lawers to the A827 near Milton of Morenish on the shores of Loch Tay.
Although it only comprises of a few dwellings, it is the principal settlement in the central section of Glen Lyon and contains a combined post office gift shop and excellent cafe "The Glen Lyon Tea room, run by a Slovakian lady and her Scottish husband.
A must stop for food but book in advance to avoid a wasted trip.

Ah I think this answers my earlier question, must try that next time I’m over that way
