First of all, I am using the app since time and I must say it is working great! I am very happy with it! That said, I think you are missing one important part during the setup of the bike and camera. I noticed that the app is very sensitive to the "tilt" of the bike. Once you place the bike on a turbo trainer you must ensure that the bike is perfectly horizontal as it would be with both the wheels touching the ground, i.e. with both front and rear axles at the same height from the floor. If not, the measure provided by the app would be distorted, in particular the horizontal position of the saddle.
It is really interesting, how you get the right scale.. because if you want to move something for example about 4 mm you must know the scale. Great product.
App comprada. Coincido en que es una maravilla, espero que se siga actualizando con el tiempo e implemente alguna que otra cosa útil, porque lo que ya tiene esta muy bien implementado. Enhorabuena al desarrollador, se nota el buen trabajo.
Sorry, you are right it isn't mentioned in the video, but is in the details for the video. We are a very small developer that has chosen to focus on the iOS platform.
This is a great app, and V2 is a god send not having to put those wee dots on 😊 Does it matter what lens you use on the phone or is it best to stick to the standard lens ?
Thanks, I'm glad you are enjoying the new version. If you can stick to the standard lens you will get the best accuracy. There are some distortions with the wide angle lens, but acceptable if that is your only option.
Amazing app, I want to know what specifications are used when recording videos, 4k60fps? I think we should need an environment with good lighting to increase recording accuracy. If the image quality is reduced in a dark environment, it may reduce recognition accuracy
Thanks. The app is using 1080p at the highest speed possible, usually 240fps. The higher frame rate is actually more important than the higher resolution to capture the moment of maximum knee extension. The AI models have been trained on plenty of very badly lit videos, but good lighting does help to ensure the best accuracy. Especially if the rider is wearing dark clothes against a dark background.
We are a bike shop seeking a bike fit app. When suggesting adjustment, the length measurement is critical. How can you measure or estimate the distance correctly? I think a tall guy with a big bike measurement should be different from a petite guy with a small bike. thx
Length measurement requires the video be calibrated. BFF Elite and BFF Pro automatically calibrate the video using the crank length. It is accurate enough for most adjustments, but for capturing a bike setup, manual measurement is still more accurate. Contact me at info@bikefastfit.com if you would like to discuss further.
@@bikefastfitperfect, thanks for the quick answer! Just one more question before buying the elite version. Does it also give recommendations on stem length and hight or just saddle position?
It doesn't give specific recommendations as so much of the upper body positioning is based on your goals, flexibility, etc. It does give you clear indications where you are at from a positioning standpoint and lets you virtually move your hand position and see the impacts before changing stems.
The wide angle lens has more distortion than the normal angle lens. In testing, it had small effects on the angles, but a larger effect on the distance measurements. While the errors are acceptable, the normal angle lens is more accurate. So if you have room, then you should probably use the normal angle lens. If you are space constrained, then use the wide angle lens. Another consideration is when using the wide angle lens for a front profile recording, you have to be very careful to ensure that the knees and toes are visible throughout the pedal stroke. This is especially a problem with mountain bikes as the tire and shocks can block the feet entirely when the camera is close to the front of the bike. The AI algorithm tries to guess the position of the foot, but being able to visually track it the accuracy is drastically impacted.
@@bikefastfit Is it possible to use an Ipad and Iphone at te same time. Will the video's sync on both devices? or do you need to send them to each other?
Yes, you can load the software on all of your devices (that share the same Apple ID) and the app uses iCloud to automatically sync the video and data across all the devices.
This is revolutionary. Please consider developing a similar app for runners for running form analysis!
Thanks! We will look into the running market.
Best software for fitting!

Thanks! The automatic calibration of the video works pretty slick!
Thanks for the update. Time to reset my position 👍🏻

Thank you! I am glad the app is useful for you. We will continue to improve and update the app.
Many of us cant use this because there is no Android version. Wish this was stated upfront somewhere.

Great product, I just purchased the EZ version but I’m wondering if the Elite version if one pay only or requires yearly pay.
Thanks! BFF Elite is currently a one-time fee.
are there other online bike fit tools that are recommended? Which is the best?
Some people have mixed results with MyVeloFit, but that is probably your best choice of the online bike fitting tools.
@@bikefastfit thank you. I do not own any ios devices

Would this work with a stages sb20 smart bike?
Yes, it works great with smart bikes.
Hello! Is the app able to analyze and give recommendation for a triathlon position?
Yes, it is designed to work with Aero/TT/triathlon bikes as well as road and mountain bikes.

Is there a difference in accuracy if you use an ultra wide angle vs a normal angle lens?
