This was very helpful. I fall into that group of people who can’t afford a professional bike fit, but thanks to your review I feel confident that I can make some improvements from home.
Man good video. I will test it and compare with the resultas from the professional fit i did. My guess is that this app is about 90% accurate, allowing very precise basic adjustments: saddle height, saddle distance, bar drop and stem size
It is really helpful! Guess it really need buddy to look while your on the bike so it would give you a good advice what position you supposed to be ...overall its really helpful
That’s great. It does 90% of what a ‘professional’ bike fit does at a fraction of the cost. Bike fit industry has become a scam with little science backing many of their claims. Thanks for the video
haha, yea man, im a bike fitter and i can relate, there's many gimmicks in some bikfit service, even so called "pro bike fit" ain't actually pro if they always rely on the tool they had, like retul and idmatch for example, a novice can just figure it out how can the body fell on the targeted measurements.. but we need to know there's a real bike fit out there.. for example one with Steve Hogg certified, and guys which been registered on IBFI certification, im not one of them bu i can recommend them. this app i think is better than the very basic static measurements including using a formula to dial in saddle height and doing static angle measurements, a dynamic IMO is superior and more personalized than generalized formulas out there. but sometimes like i mention before there's unique scenarios when following a recommended angle itself doesn't works, it's a form based fitting which a real bikefitter could see what's going on and what actions can be done. in this app there's knee over pedal measurement which unfortunately a myth,as far as i know it doesn't correlate with cycling biomechanics, if i were u i just install a simple free motion analysis software like kinovea.. P.S the dot on the knee isn't accurate on this vid
Where should the knee dot actually be located? It’s a bit ambiguous in the app description and I’ve found that the app can give very different knee angles depending on exact placement of stickers.
Can you film with the iphone and analyze with an ipad at the same time? Would be handy to put my iphone on a fixed position and analyze it on my ipad at the same time, thanks in advance!
it doesn't appear to give you "move saddle forward 5mm" etc. I'd guess you need to take the angles into consideration, make your adjustments, and make another video until it's dialed in.
thanks very useful tool , until we can get a proper bike fit by expert. some basic knowledge is required by the user which makes it more interesting for me personally.

Glad it was helpful!
How do you feel about this now almost 2 years later? Have you any further changes?

Right on!
That is your opinion...
Didn’t the guy in the video just say they recommend an actual bike fit if you can afford it since they check your flexibility and stuff

How do you know what adjustments to make?
Keeping your angles in the Green are what standard positions are..
