Yeah your pretty much correct, I think shikamaru’s situation backs this up, at first he was affected but overtime as Eida’s feelings changed & she felt bad for what she did to boruto she sought to help him, through Shikamaru & started talking to him more, he said he can’t directly look at her but it still seems as if the effects were extremely nerfed & not usually op as they are, I believe in her case her powers manifest from her background subconscious/ego & then depending how strong the emotions are linked to those deep desires then physically manifest, & for her that is an extremely difficult thing to first notice, then even begin to understand, I think theres irony here though, in her desire to help other people she is somewhat gaining true friends, & is setting up ways to actually understand why her power activates & how to control it in the future. (Her abilities are impossible to overcome for herself if she doesn’t gain true friends through true means & good intentions instead of selfish desires)

I think Sarada and Sumire are 100% immune, because Eida has used omnipotence twice and They were unaffected by both her love charm and the Boruto Kawaki switch so it's unlikely that Eida subconscious has spared them from the shinjutsu in both cases. @kamuidimension It's perfectly reasonable, however the main issue with that is that we know Eida can't control omnipotence to begin with. There'd be no way for her, even unconsciously to make people unaffected if she can't control the initial ability.

I agree, it’s MORE relevant to the love charm, but I think it works for the memory swap without it being TOO weird. I’ll also add as it relates to probably my next video, it could ALSO be a separate desire that just so happened to once again apply to Sarada and sumire, where Eida’s reservations about the memory swap caused some people to be unaffected, or be able to eventually figure it out (like Shikamaru). What Momoshiki says about her control kind of lends to that, but it definitely also refers to her not knowing how to activate/specify the wish. Momo also said there are humans who are naturally unaffected who suffer the worst fates, and I think it's just that--Fate. Ohtsutsuki always need vessels among the living populations they intend to eliminate, so maybe certain immunities indicate those who can breed with Ohtsutsuki to produce more powerful potentially perfect vessels. The girls just happen to be in love with one who became a vessel while being destined to be with Ohtsutsuki, whether that's Momo through Boruto, Isshiki through Kawaki, or any we don't yet know about.

It also would be an interesting way for him to have figured out omnipotence (if he isn’t immune), but he used Kawaki’s reconstructed karma as his explanation instead so not sure if they’ll do this or not. Well, Momoshiki said that the charm ability is a byproduct of omnipotence, and Eida knows they aren’t affected by omnipotence - BUT, we don’t know that SHE knows charm is a byproduct of omnipotence.

I’m very interested to see how sage mode plays a role in all this, the closest we’ve seen is Naruto ABOUT to fight in sage mode before kawaki kills boruto… unless im forgetting another scene We know sage justu and taijustu justu are effective against otsutsuki because of the war arc but also the only person who we havent seen daemons reflective ability work on is the one guard who used tai justu, cant help but think its all related somehow
I’ve actually discussed the taijutsu thing in major depth in an old video on daemons weakness. It’s pretty easy to find since it’s by far my most viewed video lol. Hopefully we get more sage mode stuff through Mitsuki though, since that’s his big power up. That said, it’s a little bit of a misconception to say “sage mode is otsutsuki’s weakness”. It’s just the ten tails jinchurriki’s weakness. Otsutuski are perfectly susceptible to regular ass ninjutsu (like Boruto’s vanishing rasengan, the 5 Kage sealing jutsu on Kinshiki, Kashin Koji fire on Jigen, etc) unlike the ten tails jinchurriki who can completely negate it with truth seeker orbs and their body regeneration. Whether the ten tails ARE former otsutuski or not, humans who absorbed Kaguya’s ten tails simply had different powers than other otsutuski or the Shinju
The reason they arent affected by her love charm, and omnipotence is because she willed it. She wwnted friend's that would like her for her and not just be in love with her. She didnt want after the omnipotence took place for their love to go towards Kawaki, making him choose one of them over her. She knows Kawaki cant stand her like that, but she didn't want the competition. So she willed it, and she knows they are not affected by it. Or maybe they are and she is using her charm to make them remember Boruto as Boruto.🎉

My problem with Sarada having otsutuski dna is that Sasuke is still affected, when he himself IS that Indra reincarnate. So I think Sasuke should be unaffected in that case personally
At the end of ch 16 ada is looking down from the balcony looking at sumire very suspiciously and saying “follow your heart huh”. If your theory becomes true then sumire will the become affected by omnipotence.. bruh that would be a crazy plot line and a big plot twist! Bruhh….

@kamuidimension Absolutely! It's very obvious that Eida is the reason. One thing I don't remember you mentioning in the video is that Boruto has always been well-liked by the girls in his generation. It's been noted that both Sarada and Sumire get jealous when they notice other girls liking him, and they weren't referring to each other. His popularity grew even more after the Isshiki fight, when he was portrayed as a hero of the Leaf, making TV appearances and giving interviews. So, there should be a lot of girls who are unaffected by Eida's abilities, but it's still just Sarada and Sumire.

I didn’t really think about that tbh since I think Cho Cho is already enough to say “it’s too cherry picky”, but all the more reason to specify Sarada and sumire as unique from the rest! Ignoring the possibility that Shinju are immune because of otsutuski shenanigans, Eida’s ability would just make them feel the emotion, whether they understand it or not. That’s exactly what happened to Mitsuki, who had never felt the emotion of romantic love before Eida, and we saw matsuri experience romantic love towards Konohamaru despite not understanding what was happening. So the same would apply with Eida’s ability (if they aren’t automatically immune to it)
What if Amado is an otsosuki because he used omnipotence and he just looks like a human now. Because Amado existed before boruto and kawaki, they can’t see him is because they were human before they were 100%/80% otsosuki, so the vale is still covering their eyes even tho they are otsosuki now. Because why would he give over powered eyes and reflection to Aida and Daimen OP powers when he had it in his hands? Like he could have used Omnipotence and control the human race and have free rein.

She’s kind of a tragic person, someone who never truly known romantic love or even friendships for that matter. Like a rich person having “friends” but they’re not really her friends. Eida and the divine tree people are gonna be super interesting going forward. They all have otsutsuki dna but not enough to be classified like one such as Boruto or Kawaki. Otsutuski are perfectly susceptible to regular ass ninjutsu (like Boruto’s vanishing rasengan, the 5 Kage sealing jutsu on Kinshiki, Kashin Koji fire on Jigen, etc) unlike the ten tails jinchurriki who can completely negate it with truth seeker orbs and their body regeneration. Whether the ten tails ARE former otsutuski or not, humans who absorbed Kaguya’s ten tails simply had different powers than other otsutuski or the Shinju

The reason they arent affected by her love charm, and omnipotence is because she willed it. She wwnted friend's that would like her for her and not just be in love with her. She didnt want after the omnipotence took place for their love to go towards Kawaki, making him choose one of them over her. She knows Kawaki cant stand her like that, but she didn't want the competition. So she willed it, and she knows they are not affected by it. Or maybe they are and she is using her charm to make them remember Boruto as Boruto.🎉

At the end of ch 16 ada is looking down from the balcony looking at sumire very suspiciously and saying “follow your heart huh”. If your theory becomes true then sumire will the become affected by omnipotence.. bruh that would be a crazy plot line and a big plot twist! Bruhh….

One thing I don't remember you mentioning in the video is that Boruto has always been well-liked by the girls in his generation. It's been noted that both Sarada and Sumire get jealous when they notice other girls liking him, and they weren't referring to each other. His popularity grew even more after the Isshiki fight, when he was portrayed as a hero of the Leaf, making TV appearances and giving interviews. So, there should be a lot of girls who are unaffected by Eida's abilities, but it's still just Sarada and Sumire.

Ignoring the possibility that Shinju are immune because of otsutuski shenanigans, Eida’s ability would just make them feel the emotion, whether they understand it or not. That’s exactly what happened to Mitsuki, who had never felt the emotion of romantic love before Eida, and we saw matsuri experience romantic love towards Konohamaru despite not understanding what was happening. So the same would apply with Eida’s ability (if they aren’t automatically immune to it)

What if Amado is an otsosuki because he used omnipotence and he just looks like a human now. Because Amado existed before boruto and kawaki, they can’t see him is because they were human before they were 100%/80% otsosuki, so the vale is still covering their eyes even tho they are otsosuki now. Because why would he give over powered eyes and reflection to Aida and Daimen OP powers when he had it in his hands? Like he could have used Omnipotence and control the human race and have free rein.
I’d rather Amado not be an otsutuski personally, but if he’s doing something to mask his presence and it’s really cool, then I’m cool with it haha

I don’t think she can actively control it-at least not right now. Momoshiki indicates that it’s just activating subconsciously, not something she can control control at the moment

Sumire and Sarada liked Boruto before they were even official ninja so yeah I agree it’s definitely for a different reason than him being on otsutsuki. I don’t know if Sarada’s MS did something for her and maybe sumire. Noticing daemon in the panel with boruto was interesting. If they all got shibai cells, could that make them part otsutsuki? But Code fell for Eida so that doesn’t work. Even Mitsuki fell for it!!! Do you think Eida subconsciously chooses who is affected by her ability maybe? Probably not cause like you said she was sad when Sarada pretended. Really got my gears grinding over here 😂😂😂 Eida did enjoy the drama!! She probably already know they aren’t affected. What if you already love someone else makes you affected? Most people who are affected have some kind of feelings for someone else. Sarada and Sumire like boruto but idk bout love. I think rather than Eida choosing who IS affected, I think it’s Eida’s subconscious choosing who ISNT affected. I think her desire for love (or the memory swap) is strong and broadly speaking, making it apply to everyone, but if she has a strong enough desire for someone to be UNAFFECTED (meaning this desire has to be stronger than her original desire for love or the memory swap in the first place), then that person becomes UNAFFECTED. In theory, if Eida had cast the memory swap before coming to the Leaf Village-let’s say during the Code arc in like chapter 57 or something-I think Sarada and sumire would’ve been affected, but later become UNAFFECTED after Eida wanted to be friends with them.

She’s kind of a tragic person, someone who never truly known romantic love or even friendships for that matter. Like a rich person having “friends” but they’re not really her friends. Could be the cause of their downfall though-the fear of those who are strong leading to their own demise does work narratively. Only those who accepted the Shinju/cyborgs may be the ones to stay alive. Definitely a good thought at the very least
