I had 2 Delta Pro 3 ( DP3 ) units running in parallel with their 50 AMP hub bridge. One of the Battery units was defective and caused a tremendous power surge which fried my HVAC thermostat and ECU, coffee maker, Air Purifier, GFCI outlets, and over a dozen outlet surge protectors and damaged two 200 AMP breaker panels. The damages have run into the thousands. One electrician who inspected my system told me that one of his customers had a similar problem with his Eco Flow Ultra except that he didn't have the unit hooked up to the home. I like the EF Delta 2 Max batteries, but the EF DP3 and the 50 AMP bridge is dangerous. It nearly burned down my home.
Hi Scott, my fridge pulls 400-430W from the Delta Pro (original) and then stops as tho it decided it's not compatible with the compressor (LG' s "linear compressor"). My freezers also don't seem to like the Delta Pro 20A outputs. Any idea why this is?
It’s hard to beat the delta pro Gen 1 at current sales prices ($2199). You can’t really diy it with matching specs. The noise is not that bad actually. It’s not like you charge it at full capacity or run high inverter loads non stop. I know the 240v from the new model is tempting. Personally I have not used 240v in 30 years. It’s important to have the feature in the lineup, but it’s not a buying decision for me. The higher solar input is nice. 1600 watt is plenty for me though.
Someone is selling a Delta Pro and two batteries near me for $6k and I thought at $2000 a piece, that's a massive bargain. I did not realize the Delta Pro new prices were so low now. Thank you.
@@markkempton4579It's been under 2k multiple times on eBay. It's refurbished and comes with the same warranty as new. Plus if the ecoflow CS is giving you issues, you're also covered with eBay included 2 year warranty.
off topic, sorry can you do a review of the EG4 wall mount battery (14.3kwh) and the charger/inverter family of EG4? doing review on non-mobile / whole house solution?
What kind of panels and connections did you use to get that fantastic 2350W solar input at the beginning of the video? I'm ordering an EcoFlow DP3 and the suggestions that EcoFlow is giving me are 3 400W portable panel on the HV port and 1 400W portable panel on the LV port. That's only 1600W, nowhere near what you're getting! Thanks for the great video!
What up Doe Mr Everyday!? Very good info and comparison of two awesome devices the DP&DP3... I think the Delta series from Ecoflow changed the game in portable and home backup systems over the last several years!! Thanks for all the great vids 👍🏽
Bonjour, thank you for the video. I live in Canada and solar energy is not viable for me. Would need to link the battery to an external combustion generator outside of my house. Question: would need a long cable (20 feet) to link the Delta pro situated in my basement close to the electric panel) to a generator outside (would need to open a window for this). Does such a cable exists? Merci à l'avance pour ta réponse.
Hello! I am very new to solar, and don't know where to get started. I want a simple system to run my swamp cooler, also called an evaporator cooler 24/7. It uses 300 Watts, but at some point I might upgrade it for a 450 Watt version. So I want a setup to run 450 Watts, 24/7. How would I do that? What kind of solar panels do I need? Can it be any brand? Do I just double what I need? So 900 Watts of panels would run it? Or do I need a big buffer? Is it easy to set something up like this? Do I need an eco flow or delta setup to run my cooler 24/7? What size would I need to run my cooler overnight? Sorry for all the questions, I don't know what to do. But my cooler is costing me $140 per month at $0.65/KWh, and my total bill regularly goes over $500. So just getting the cooler on a panel setup would greatly help. Thanks!
I'm thinking about getting the DP Ultra and SHP2 and plug my existing 2 DPs into the SHP2. Where can I find the DVH2 to connect my existing DP's to the SHP2 and what is the model of the DVH2?
im trying to decide between delta pro 3 & a refurbished pro. it's a $1000 difference. I live in a smallish 1 bed rental townhouse but want a set up to run a portable AC to save money on my bill since AC is what costs the most. Its 122 degrees here in Las Vegas. Mainly I want a back up plan for when the power goes out. Should I save $1K and get the older pro version? is the $1000 worth it for the pro 3 for my situation?
I keep asking this question but maybe you're my guy. I have no interest in solar but I'd like to have a nice backup battery until i can get off work and start my generators. Can the original Delta pro be wall charged at 1500 watts while outputting 3600 watts?
I have an EcoFlow Delta 2. I bought EcoFlow 2*400 Solar Panels. Can I use them together with this battery? And how should I connect the panels, in series or in parallel?
I'd really love to see someone that has 2 Delta Pro's with the dual voltage hub, and if it can run a central air conditioner for any length of time. I guess the same thing goes if anybody has done this with an Ultra. I mean.. with sales you can now get 2 Delta Pro's with the hub for under $4500.
I have 2 Delta Pros with a dual voltage hub and it's never been able to start my central AC unit. My unit is a 4 ton so the initial draw is too much. My Delta Pro Ultras are able to start my AC unit.
I have 2 Delta Pros with the hub. My 4 ton central A/C pulls about 12 Amps. So 12X220=2640 Watts. Figure 7200 Watt Hrs for both units. A whopping 2.7 hrs. Need to add some solar panels to help out.
Do these high watt inverters suck up a lot of watts by themselves just for being in the on position. I heard the higher the wattage the higher the drain? Or is ecoflow different.
Unfortunately, the Ecoflow 3 I just purchased could only produce 2.3 KWH in a 24hr test of my upright freezer and would be drained to 5%. Performed test twice with pretty much the same results. I did not have it connected to grid or solar. Was hoping for more run time.

you no longer need the grounding plug for the delta pro 3 when Tesla charging. you can now turn the feature on in the ecoflow app
Shut your mouth! You are totally right, thanks for the tip 🙌

Thanks for the feedback and I agree at $2,199 that is a smoking deal for the DP 👍

@@NightlyH I haven't seen under $2k yet. Maybe this will push the prices down. I'd love a pair of those with the 240 adapter

What was the solar panel set up during this on the delta pro 3?

I have a european model and there is only 240v because we do not us 110v?

? Can't you just safely muffle the 58 decibal sound from the Delta Pro with a ''moving blanket'' or some other blankets to muffle the sound ?

I just made that one but here is a prebuilt one that is sealed up better amzn.to/3zr6aUd
Do these high watt inverters suck up a lot of watts by themselves just for being in the on position. I heard the higher the wattage the higher the drain? Or is ecoflow different.
they are fairly effiecient but no matter what thats the cost of bigger inverter it just simply takes more power to keep a bigger inverter on
Can we lift it one handed using only one of the handles ? Is the delta pro 3 sturdy enough to do that ?
It would probably work but I don't image too many customers will be using 1 handle for the 113 lb (51.5 kg) unit.
@@everydaysolar oh ok. Thats really heavy to carry with one hand 😇 I own a delta 2 and it’s manageable

Why would a state ban net metering? It benefits everyone. Lord knows the local utilities can't keep up with the demand when it hits 90+ degrees.

any advice to get the 2400 watts of solar on the cheap?
find someone local selling some
Did you review Ac200max, and is the b300s the best expansion or what do you recommend for the 200max?
Two refurb Delta Pros or one Delta pro 3?
Tough call if you just need storage and 120V out I would do the 2 refurb DP's. If you want the 240V out and more solar input I would go DP3.
My first delta pro lasted a year , the replacement lasted a day , shit
