Thank you Chris for taking the time behind the scenes to record, edit And upload your adventures. Incredible! You are awesome.
Thank you. It's so nice to be out there & it is fun to share the places I get to see. a bit of effort yes.
You are tenacious, Chris! Fantastic. Beautiful place. Nothing much stops you.
Thanks Ed. The first day on this bike ride was tough for me. Started at 9:30 am and finished at 8pm. Only stopped to stuff food down and video. The next day when I came out of the forest my GPS (map) was wrong and all the track's lead to private property. In the end I made a dash (5km's) through private property to get to the main road the only way I could do it. Cheers Chris.
Peaceful, your videos are so bloody peaceful its a joy to watch you.
All your videos are inspirational Chris and thanks for taking the time to share your adventures. The only way to travel mate. Cheers, Lee :)
Thanks Lee. I do like to share some of the nice places you can bicycle tour in Australia. Cheers Chris.
Great stuff really enjoy watching your videos,,,very inspiring,
josef kapelj Thank you. Can't wait to start next big tour in February Cheers Chris.
Great video as usual. Those downhills must have shaken your kidneys though!
Thank you. I loved the downhill, was a little loose gravel in sections and came close to staking a couple of times. I'm thinking of putting front suspension on the bike just can't decide yes or no for now.
Great videos, very inspiring!
Thanks Bradley.
Great horse imitation hehehe. Good video!
Thank you.
Hi, Chris. I enjoy the videos--a lot. One thing--you could be traveling the San Diego (California) back country, except for the different wildlife. What you're traveling in is so much like my "backyard" it's kinda scary. Even the mountain ranges. You are a bit greener, though, since we are in the throes of a multi-year drought.
+Steven Bradley Thanks Steven. About 10 years ago we had some bad droughts around that area. Not good to see the land hurting. Sounds nice your backcountry. Not sure about bears ?. Cheers Chris.
No real bear population in most of the southern area. Mostly deer and small game, coyotes (wild dogs), and a few small predators. Once in a while, a mountain lion. I've been over most of the area here, and never seen anything that worried me except a very unfriendly bull at one point. I went away and he stayed put.
Hi, just found your videos and you tour in some really amazing scenery but a lot of it is off road, what tyres do you use?
Hi Sean Thank you. The tyres are Schwalbe marathon Mondial. Excellent tyres only had one puncture in 14,000 km's that was on the Gibb river road Western Australia. Cheers Chris.
Nice !
I would love to come along on one of your rides but I'm pretty sure I couldn't keep up for long !
Thanks Ian. Right time right place foresure one day we can do a ride together. I used to tour with my brother when I was young. One step One push at a time that's all it is cheers Chris.
