Nice work. Your videos show what living in this great country has to offer. I'm from WA so your east based trips (and your regular blokes approach) interests me much more than another "We took our huge caravan down the Gibb so we could complain about the corrugations" video. Please don't sell out and opt for an unobtainable, sponsored and tricked up 79 series like everyone else seems to be doing. What you offer is relatable for most of us. More please. ✌
Thanks for great videos. Please don't go down the same route as many 4by TH-cam'ers with loud metal music intro's, fast cut edits and 90% product sponsoring. Your vids are so much better, more relatable. Cheers
Your touring episodes are getting better and better. Your editing and storytelling is next level - dare I say at a professional level. Listing the names of location you visited adds great value. The only negative thing about this episode is that its not long enough. Brilliant road trip.
Highly enjoyable episode. Great summary of an epic road trip. Well edited and beautifully narrated. I also appreciate the embedded captions for the locations you've been at. It's good to visualise your trip on a map. Your episodes are next level. Exceptional work. Thank you for taking us along. 👍♥
Cracking vid. Still appreciate the mainly back to basics style of this channel, rather than those deep pocket promo cars that many others roll with. Keep doing your thing folks! It's bloody great.
I did a very similar trip last year, started the vic high country through to the southern areas of the snowies, up through Kosciusko and followed the Murray from the top through to swan hill. Would’ve been nice to head a bit further north.
Love watching this. Reminds me of Michele and myself in in1978! Enjoy. You will remember this fore ever! And tell you kids and grand kids about it. Lov❤it
Iv been living out of my 75 series Landcruiser troopy for 2 years now & I run a aircon.2.2KVA generator I carry & got a tv in my rig , Waco I got .. batterie power tools iv got .. been catching a lot of yabbies what are the side of a 750ml bottle .. living off the land ..
Awesome vid and some amazing looking spots. I can't understand how you guys donm't have more subs with the level of content you put out. Looking forward to the next vid as I'm in the process of kitting out my 4WD over in NZ for touring
Awesome trip. Once you have a totally set up vehicle, as you do, living out of it is such an experience, no complicated set up, just stop, take in the surroundings and enjoy the moment in comfort. Then easy pack down to relocate as well. We do likewise, total comfort. Blue waterhole walk? Never knew it existed, so thanks for heads up. Appears you found some stunning locations + camps, thanks for sharing.
Great video. It's been about 20 years since I went to the Snowy Hydro, Kosciuszko and surrounding areas. So many beautiful areas to visit. Seeing this makes me realise it's time to go back again. 👍
Hey man awesome video as always I live in Jarvis bay and you managed to capture it so well. I think I saw you drive down the Main Street of huskisson one night. What was your favourite spot in the area?
Great little video mate with some stunning locations and good information. Can't wait to be able to pack up and travel for an extended period like that.
DAM THATS HOW YOU DO A VID ! what a great trip mate, good to see nsw was nothing but highlights :) sorry about the park fees, but it is one of the most kept places in australia and worth every cent imo
That excitement when "PATRICK CAUGHT A FISH!!". loved it. Great little vid. Im very slowly building my gq to do trips like this. I live near Jervis Bay, and i LOVE it when people get to visit it because it is beautiful there. I got married in the Botanic Gardens there. If you get there again, grab a boat and go on the bay, or get in on one of the dolphin watch cruises. Wont regret
Thanks mate! What a spot to get married, we spent one afternoon there, it was beautiful!! And yes the fish moment was very exciting for both of us, first fish!!! 😂👍
This is absolutely amazing and just a wonderfully unique experience and perspective on life. Thank you so much for getting out there and creating something so special and sharing it with us. As someone who used to be so adventurous and constantly seeking new hiking adventures, in the past few years I have lost myself in the big city and all my determination to have an adventurous life more often. Thank you for being such a great inspiration and sharing this with us again :) Wish you all the best and take care :)

great video. i have been watching for a while now and since those first few videos there has always been something special about this channel. at the time i was still more interested in seeing the wild 4bys that 4wd 24/7 had but now i just love the more realistic holiday style videos in our amazing country. keep up the good work Patrick! i was also wondering if with each of your videos you could put together a trip plan of the tracks that you went on?
try holding your fishing rods on the fore grip for better control, which also allows you to control line and drag/spool pressure with the index finger. Great content and fantastic trip.
just like to inform you that there is, a guided tour of Mount Kosciuszko run by Park Rangers. When you hit the top it's something else, that is if there is no fog. Great video 👍👍
Awesome video mate, we were at Geehi for the Aus day long weekend and based on the video camped exactly where you guys did. Amazing spot and it was really hard to leave.
lovely video. bumped in to you at the pool and we had a small chat(hope you remember). love your Chanel and the fact that you show people young and old(like me) what you can do without spending a fortune or the need of a suntan muscled body 😎. keep up the good work
New south Wales national Parks don't enforce the camp bookings, I have camped over 100 nights without booking and have never had a problem. Most of rangers I have talked to think the booking process is unfair.
Hi Oliver, Yeah i've heard that they are going to "review" it and hopefully get rid of it or work out somthing new, it was very common to see a campsite "Booked out" online, yet when we drove through it was empty...
Absolutely amazing video, love what you say about just getting out there, misses and I went out and saw you at the start of your trip heading towards Craig’s hut. We were in the green Pajero like your old one haha. Now I’ve got a few more trips on the list thanks to this video. Looks like some amazing hiking to be done! Great work mate
Been fantastic, fixed a bunch of teething issues and I've been able to do a heap of induction cooking! I'll have a video on it soon!! But it's been great!
Looks like an epic trip, looking forward to seeing more of it. I’ve noticed your have removed the spotties, any particular reason??? Keep up the good work 👌👌👌
Removed them to fit the high mount winch, Ive been meaning to put them back on, but I honestly don't do a heap of night driving so the kings lightbar I've got has been enough!
Good intel for us guys up north wanting to come explore that area. Any other issues with 80 throughout the trip? Seems like a very self sufficient little setup.
Thanks mate! it's such a grouse spot! and yeah no other issues! it was all pretty smooth sailing! yeah i've been loving the setup! had everything we needed to stay away from caravan parks or civilizations for a while ! just had to keep the fridge stocked!
Absoultly loved this video! It would be cool to see your trip itinerary so people can replicate it or use parts of it. Thanks guys. Keep up the great work
Looked a damn good trip. Yeah we visited flea creek before we went to Lowells, but it was flat out! Then did the track from flea creek to Lowells, awesome area , hope it stays open
@@AussieArvos can i ask did you go down gentle annie to flea the up towards macintires flat to get to lowels and was it open? or did you go around 2 sticks way?

FYI, this body-on-frame SUV is more like a pickup truck than anything, so it is definitely not a "car".
