Great , how I wish they can eventually reopen their custom shop again one day.
So sweet! That contender is sick! Can't wait to get my hands on an Encore!
I am a T/C fanatic. I was actually hunting down and scrounging screws and other hardware, for the past 10 years, for Encore and Contender to resell to people for their forends and stocks. Dove tails for sights, making hinge pins. Had to keep the cult going. I do need magazines for my Icon in 30TC and some magazines for my T/C R22.
Eabco sells alot of the screws
I can't wait to get a new ss encore pro hunter. (Hoping)!!!
Coincidentally, I just bought a Contender made in 1981. Gen 1. In 45/410. I have a 357 max barrel due here tomorrow.
Hopefully someday they could bring back Hawken. No mfg in the u.s.a makes a traditional side lock percussion and flintlock.
This was great! Freaking awesome news!
thank you!
Its not that there is "hate" for the 6.5, its just that us old guys have seen this dog and pony show many times. Bring out yet another new magical cartridge, that is basically the same as the legendary 308, and all the salesman and "influencers", LOL, start the sales pitches. Then you get all the Gullibles, heaping praise on the same old horse, with a different color, and buying them like its magic or something. Its a sales pitch. I used to work in R&D for a big corporation, I know how it done.
I prefer handguns to rifles.
