Laura is almost the most perfect character on any show ever...beauty acting, sweetness, everything about her including how to drive a man nuts without even trying ..❤
Cute scenes between Les and Rick..still think she should've made him sweat a little more after the disgusting affair with Monica. People actually discussing Christmas and the carolers..love it. Sorry but Anne Logan is just so annoying. She gets what she deserves esp after the way she treats sweet Joe. A&M crack me up..they hate each other at this point but they're always intruding in the other's personal space. Who walks down the stairs like that first thing in the morning with someone you supposedly despise? lol.
It is a very cute scene! What makes it even better is that Lesley was making Rick chase her because in late November into early December she pushed him away. She told him more than once during this time frame that they should not be in public together like they are a couple. So at this point after weeks of pushing him away she reels him back in then pushes him away at New Years and throughout the beginning of 1981. Well played Lesley :) Alan & Monica loved to hate each other. Just a couple of weeks before this he gave her a foot rub and made her hot chocolate. She gets her comeuppance in this episode when she sees Rick & Lesley return to the hospital together then finds out he will spend Christmas with her. As far as Anne, she played the poor me virgin a bit too much and had all the hottest guys in town chasing her! Oh poor me so she can get the attention of the likes of Jeff, Joe & Noah! She did have a good storyline w/Dr. Bradshaw and I have to admit I did enjoy Heather tormenting her. Lastly, yes it is so nice to have a show celebrate holidays and hold everyday conversatons. Current GH does not pay attention to this detail among others that made the show so much better back in this era. I guess that is why I am stuck in classic land!
I love the scenes with Shell Kepler. She had the amazing task of moving plots along, and she did it masterfully. Her gossip set up conflict for the next scenes. I miss her character (and the actress) greatly. I love how Lesley states she is in a house of blondes, none under 5 ft 6. That seems like a little bit of the actress, than the character. I understand Miss Francis got her part because she was supposedly shorter than Miss Alexander, but Miss Francis admitted years later that she crouched a little bit around Miss Alexander so she could get the part, as Miss Alexander had requested that whomever was given the part of Laura be shorter than her.
Ash correct me if i'am.wrong but it seems to me GF / Laura was playing Laura way to long before Miss Alexander came on as AQ so hello why the he'll should she feel more superior? Sorry GH higher up's get over yourselves!!! Really please thanks..JMVHO! Rosie out!
Yes is do miss Amy too. But your do have to admit Amy throws and mean punch. Well Amy always comes off just a bit too noisy her mouth should be registers with the FBI.. REALLY AMY does not know when to say UNCLE for herself or others......JMVHO! Rosie still loving GH.....and Amy????
It stayed 10:09 for much too long lol...from 22:49 through 24:34 through. the big GH clock behind Luke says 10 09... LOL OOOOPS. Maybe time is different in Port Charles. One minute here is around 3 minutes there lol.
