How to not be disappointed with a new Battlefield game: 1. Do not read too much into supposed "leaks" or EA/DICE in-house concepts. 2. Do not overhype. 3. Do not pre-order. 4. Do not expect Trailers to reflect real gameplay. 5. Wait for reviewers (IGN does not count) and TH-camrs to properly test and publish gameplay videos.
We just want core Battlefield. Unknown Soldier, tons of modern day weapons/equipment/vehicles, destructible buildings and UE5 graphics that will look and feel amazing. If EA will listen to their loyal player base, this game will outsell every single FPS without even breaking a sweat.
No skins. No store. No super powers. No 120 player count. Just classic 64 player all out destruction with an actual season pass 😭 I want to pay $14 for map packs again.
In my opinion Battlefield 4 is the most robust shooter of all time offering the most amount of viable play styles in any game I’ve played. It is truly the king of “sandbox” experiences and if they just make this new game an expansion of what what bf4 was and keep it gritty and not cartoony graphics like 2042, it will be absolutely loved by the players.
If they could get the imersive atmosphere and quality of life aspects from BF1, and the gameplay and simplicity aspects of BF4-3 into one game they'd have the perfect Battlefield in my opinion.
I'm actually more hype for Delta Force release, it being free. Battlefield ruined my trust so I'll be watching to see if they regain that again. Competition helps us consumers!!
Only reason i have hope is bc Vince Zampella he was one of the head guys for COD 4 and OG MW2, guy is known for bangers. Also didn't BF2042 actually become a decent game once they brought him in?
The developers should all be forced to play battlefield 3 and 4 for a week straight for each game. And take some notes. Even go play bfbc2 to see what real destruction is supposed to be
Hearing that operators are gone is the main thing for me. Operators were one of the worst things to happen to battlefield 2042. I don't want to be a grandma on the battlefield. I don't want to be some special quirky character, I just want to be a random soldier on the battlefield.
The bigger part that pissed me off for 2042 was the era thing. It was a cool idea to have that, but kinda stupid that you couldn't use those guns in the main game. Why can't I use an m1 in the main game.
@@anonymussy123I hear you I’m sick of these companies completely ignoring what the community asks for and adding in features and concepts that quite literally make the game worse.
@@anonymussy123do not count out that they have to monetize somehow, therefore there is a 100% chance we will get soldier skins, just like how COD does it, each battlepass will have skins for your soldier, and depending on how popular is the game, we could get cameos like snoop dogg, messi, katy perry etc.
The moment they bring back dedicated classes, generic soldier skins, dedicated languages for factions, modifiable weapons, good gunplay mechanics and movement mechanics, and classic destruction from BF2, that will be the day I say they have “gone back to the basics.” The love letter we’ve received as fans has just been a “Dear John” all along
Your squad leader giving SPEECHES in their native language in battlefield 1 was so crazy it felt like they cared at that time. I don’t get how they can have something so perfect infront of them and mess it up so badly game after game
Please simplify classes in Battlefield 3 style. 4 classes. Assault, Engineer, Support, Recon. The beauty of BF3 was in how simple it was to grasp with it's mechanics and class systems.
2 หลายเดือนก่อน +33
Hmm, being too simple is what turned me off BF3 and 4 personally. Excellent games, just got stale very quickly and made it feel too close to CoD. Brainless. BF2 had 7 classes. I miss playing the Special Forces role. Squad Leaders were more in tune with their Squad and had more strategic options. It was a perfect balance of fun game play and strategy.
We need the old classes back IMO. The consoles can handle more players these days, unlike the ps3 and 360 days with limited player counts. 4 classes is too homogenized .
-No specialist bullshit. Bring back classes and 5 player squads -No Battle royale or Fortnite type things -more than 6 maps and make them well balanced for infantry/vehicle combat -bring more than 20 guns in the beginning -proper progression -Loadouts like in BF3/bf4 -Atmosphere like BF1 -Make sure it's finished before release -release the beta half a year or a year before release, not a month before release -No modern audience type bullshit. Give us generic soldiers in a gritty war setting. Make war look horrifying, not fun. -Good anticheat -Give us a decent campaign If you do these points Dice? I may as well buy it.
@@jasrajsandhu1658 Careful you don't cut yourself on that edge, my man. And I'm not even gonna start on the sweeping generalisation you dropped there with "not a single game" cos I'm just gonna be nice and assume you mean a single FPS game or something and not just videogames in general.
It's nice to dream. Myself, I'm not confident EA/Dice will give you even half your list. Some Gen X trust fund investor who still calls it The Nintendos has probably already demanded they do 'a fart note thing that my grandkids play' to make more money. Another will claim too many guns means you can't sell more later as DLC, and so on....
Please just be an elevated battlefield 3, focus on map design, rigid gunplay, warlike sound design. This is the game we all want and miss. A battlefield 3 with elevated mechanics sampling from BF1 and BfV would be a perfect game
Dude yeah anymore I find myself more interested in something like sea of thieves where the level of immersion, visual and audio, is just so damn beautiful that I’d rather spend my time there than many other modern renditions of gaming classics, (2042 for example)
Making a good BF game isn’t hard. The gunplay of 3 and 4, atmosphere of 1, a map editor, server browser, and good base game maps. No hero shooters, no quippy quotes, no stupidly big maps is more than 64 total players. Dice had a winning formula in their old games, and that’s all we wanted. Maybe this time they’ll actually pay attention and make something we want.
I just hate it so much how the formula is there... It's right there... They own the old Battlefield games, USE THEM! Players never are upset when companies expand upon the formula, we're upset when they change the formula. Better graphics will upset no one, better maps would upset no one, more guns to choose from, tighter gunplay, and more quality of life features would upset no one. But when they absolutely insist on changing things that players love, and absolutely refuse to listen to the feedback, then yeah...what the fuck do they expect?
I don't see a lot of people talking about this but this game needs a good singleplayer campaign. Sure, the series is and will be known for the multiplayer, but the campaigns from BF3, 4, 1 and 5 were all incredible in their own ways
I hate the way they always say “bigger” and things akin to that. Like, we want you to focus on getting the old feel and atmosphere back, with the great maps, music, models, balancing, vehicles etc. Get that first, then expand.
I also hate the way they're saying 'official concept art' and acting like it's special when it's quite clearly AI generated. Look at some of the rooftops and windows lmao Let's see how it goes, people will definitely pre-order and it'll be a rough start like Hardline, 2042, and V, and people will grow to like it when it becomes irrelevant a few years later. Can't wait 😂
@@gopnikolai7483yeah, it’s nothing more than an attempt to raise expectations, but in reality it just results in indifference because we’ve seen it all before. That’s why I still play bf4 and bf1 lmao, good games, still making me immersed and emotive to this day. I’m waiting for the downfall of corporate greed and the rise of passion projects tbh
pretty much all they talked about was how they're recapturing the feeling of bf3/4; going back to 64 players, getting rid of specialists and focussing on tighter map design. it's all marketing speak tho, they tried cashing in on bf3/4 nostalgia in the same way with 2042 and look how that turned out.
Yeah this is one trope within the AAA gaming industry that I absolutely hate. No, bigger does not in fact = better game. I'll take a more concise thought out experience over any "LARGEST WORLD WE'VE EVER CREATED. 3X THE SIZE OF OUR LAST TITLE" game. Tons of games out there with that type of marketing and when you play them the worlds are devoid of any passion and love for crafting a truly exciting open world that actively encourages you to explore with hidden secrets, fun enemies to fight everywhere and not just on 40% of the map.
: Simple as BF3. Remember when guns didnt have damage and range bars? You had to know what caliber is going to hit harder and know what your attachments do.
I don't hate having customization like skins, but it has to fit the style of the game and be unlockable through normal play, a DLC paywall is a shame for a full price AAA game. I don't really like the BF4 skins, they should make cooler ones.
A cool approach to “wildfires” rather than have them a randomly occurring event would be making terrarain and buildings flammable, so an explosion would start a fire that could spread across woodland or a group of buildings, impacting levolution and the battlefield more
They definitely can do that type of thing now with the newer consoles and engines. They can even randomise which buildings get flammable so the fires can start in different parts of the map.
@@OliverRivettCarnac FC2 is the first thing that popped to me as I read about wildfires. Funny how no game, that I can think of, never used that game mechanic since... 2008?!
Firewall effect from BF5 Firestorm looked amazing and love how it was destroying the envorment. Something like this in the base game can be interesting to see.
@@tomislavjuric3306 Never got used much because it could be pushed to the point of bricking systems. There has to be a limit somewhere, or else the game breaks. RDR2 had nice fire, but it had to be limited because it would lag with even one house burning.
@@soufinator3631 Those things (BF1/BFV) are not comparable to what we had from bf1942-bf4. The old dedi servers and options were basically endless and amazing.
Would be cool if it was Bad Company 3 set in modern era, using those crispy sounds from BC1 & 2 and even more crazy destruction effects. No specialists.
Little me discovering sound design in bc2 blew my mind. The first time i plugged in a pair of headphones i was transported. Then all excited, i told my friends to put on said headphones and play. We were all amazed really, it was awesome!
BC has peak singplayer campaign and overal game design for me. But ngl about that sound design part, the BC2 "Zero Dark Thirty" mission where you ended up boarding an airplane with an EMP device was peak. (Not sure if the mission name is correct).
Never understood why BF tried to branch out into things it wasn’t, when its already got its own thing going. For a mechanic or gameplay style with a temporary hype? Battlefield is Battlefield, because it’s 2 large teams on a very big cool map. Period. Nobody wants to play Battlefield because they want to play a Battle Royale or a super high paced CoD with small teams on a small map, they play it because they want to play… well, Battlefield.
Catering to the loud, minority, extreme left who would have tried to bring down the entire franchise if they didn't agree with a minute detail of the game.
Remember, it's IGN who are saying all this. The ones who gave Space Marine 2 a 6/10 because it wasn't funny enough... if they like a game, you know it's going to be a dumpster fire.
The moment Battlefield died was when they stopped making campaigns. It gave the game a personality and a wider view of the setting we play in. I hope the multiplayer is back to the roots like bf3 and bf4.
It’s so damn simple look at what made BF3, BF4, and BF1 so damn great and playable. The gunplay, atmosphere, classes, flow. They literally have 3 winning formulas and all they need to do is improve upon them and make them better.
true, I 100% agree with you, I really thought the idea of wingsuits, specialists and quick switching attachments outside of spawn menu was kinda weird and really didnt fit the style of battlefield imo
I still play BF1 and BF4 constantly because they’re such amazing games. Hopefully this next one will be just as good but I don’t want to get my hopes up too early
Just move on bro. It's not worth hanging on to a studio that is a shell of it's former self. If they loose money and smaller studios make money they can be replaced by actual passionate devs
Please to the HEAVENS just make it like Battlefield 3 or Bad Company and this would be an immediate fan favorite. We haven’t had a real military game in forever. ITS REALLY NOT THAT HARD DICE
I grew up with Bad Company 1 and 2... I had well over 1000 hours in both and was in the two few thousand for both games in the leader boards. I would be so happy to see a proper bad company 3 one day, they are sitting on a gold mine there. I'm sure the voice actors would love to return to the game to reprise the roles of Redford, Marloe, Sweetwater, and Haggard. I know Sgt. Redford voice actor was recently in the new robocop game lol
OGs like 1942. Imagine playing starting with the third game in the series and acting like that's how it should be. Like yeah, I want to see Jurassic Park go back to its roots; Jurassic Park 3.
Porting a Battlefield game on a Switch is like trying to design Doom on a microchip without any RAM. In the mean time, we need a list of everything players liked in BF3 and BF4 and put it into a poll to see what they really want.
Yeah, nice try EA, still NOT PREORDERING. But I gotta admin, I'm grinning hard af with all the mentions of BF3 and BF4. No specialists. Map design. 64 players MAX. (even 32 is enough tbh) That's it, we don't need nothing else.
128 Players wasn't the problem, they made the maps way too big. The point of wanting 128 players was to get more chaos out of the already chaotic smaller to medium sized maps.
128 players was super fun.. IF the map was good. A lot of the maps were super huge and made it entirely unfun to run around as a soldier and instead promoted people to just camp for vehicles. Two things that 2042 did well is the plus system and the call in pad which I don’t think anyone would refuse seeing in BF6.
agreed, the amount of players wasnt the issue, only the maps and the lack of destruction. if they can fix that then 128 players might still be fun. doubt theyl be doing that though by the sounds
negative. The big maps are the best. If I wanted sweaty chaos I'd go play CoD (I won't). BF is fun because you can actually outsmart, outhink and outmaneuver other players without needing to have 0.1ms reaction speeds on 500FOV to win gun battles. Camping, flanking, and playing objectives IS ENCOURAGED. A huge map where I can anticipate attack angles and create bottlenecks for stupid CoD players to run head first into is the best part of the game. Well, that and destruction/vehicles
BF3 was peak, unadulterated carnage. BF4 was great, too. I think returning to that level of gameplay means more than just removing operators and lowering player counts, though. But the thought of getting back into Battlefield for the first time in a decade is enticing. Who wants to bet its a WW3 game set in Europe?
For me, the best thing about the bf3-bf4 era ended up being the maps. And the DLCs had maps from all over the place. So I'm not too worried about what 'theatre' it's set in. Just give me that gameplay with cool maps. Period.
One of the core basics of BF back to 1942 and BF2 days was fully customizable host from home server settings and bot support. Single player campaigns in those games were actually all/most of the conquest maps in a specific order and that was it. Also the games were highly modifiable with an insane range of mods to play. So If EA does this again maybe just maybe itll save the series.
My biggest ask is bringing back destruction physics akin to Bad Company, 3 & 4, but updated to take full advantage of the advances in technology that have occurred since then. Why they ever thought it would be a good idea to depart what gave you a competitive advantage over every other series, I’ll never know, but here we are.
Dice, all you need to do is a mix out of BF3 + BF4, with the immersion and atmosphere of BF1. Every single Battlefield player has told you guys that for years now. And don't forget: No Pre-Orders, don't be overhyped and do not believe anything they say until you actually see Gameplay or get your own hands to play it.
128v64 isnt about the count, its about the fact that it turns into a call of duty death match with people spwaning behind you so battle lines arent getting drawn. They need to slow down the game and revise the spawn locations.
As much as i like the movement in BFV, i will admit its too fast for a battlefield game. Would be great for CoD, but as good as the movement is, i always feel like BF should be slower
agreed. i liked the 128 player count, to me, the maps just didnt complement it. for example, that map with the last zone that was on top of the highrise. but only ten ppl can get in the elevator to get upstairs....just was lost. if they had a dense city, it wouldve been fine.
Exactly, it’s also sometimes more tense and action packed when one squad is able to hold down a flag alone, too many players and it’s just too much chaos
It just comes down to poor map design and spawn/respawn choices. You could do a 256 player game and if the map is designed well and the spawns balanced (for example if an area has too many players then u can't spawn there) it should be fine.
everyone having access to anti air and anti armor made vehicles suck in 2042 , also why did the 2042 jeep have exposed players and the 2000 humvee doesn’t 🤦♂️
Along with what everyone else is saying... please bring back real world factions, and make it to where they have their own armories and vehicles, this will allow for more immersive and interesting asymmetrical gameplay!
Agreed. I'd rather have unbalanced weapons and vehicles. Example- Tanks on one side could be more powerful with explosives. But slower. While the other side could be faster, with less punchy explosives. Players have to learn to adapt
This. I want it to be actual countries like US and China fighting each other. Dice might not have the balls to do that though so we'll probably be playing as PMC groups with weapons from those countries.
For me, battlefield 1 was the best game I’ve ever played, trailed by BF 3 and 4. No other game will fill the void that BF1 left me in. Hopefully the game can succeed like BF1 did.
#1: Levelution #2: Destruction that matches BF1/BFV (preferably better) #3: Unique map designs #4: Classes (already mentioned) Please we are thirsty for a proper successor
Yeah why did they move away from destruction? It was so good. I’d much rather that get better than have a reflection off a puddle which everyone turns off anyway cause it kills frames….
Bad Company 2 through Battlefield 4 was when DICE had their things together and could actually create wonderful masterpiece of video games. DICE hasn't released a single good Battlefield since BF4... I don't care about BF1 or BF5. I did not participate in WWI or WWII.
I mean they literally didn't. Dice have been obsessed with reinventing the wheel with usually pointless gimicks for the last 3 titles. You're confusing what the community has been saying with what Dice has been saying. As far as I'm aware, this is the first time Dice has openly admitted they need a return to form.
@@patwhw they did in terms of gameplay mechanics, and none of them did. Why do you think people wanted BF5 burned because it turned out not to be true. Bf1 was the only one that people got behind.
I miss all the bolt actions from BF3, but i also miss the OLD AIRCRAFT CONTROLS. There was so much skill expression and respect for aerial vehicles back in the day of BF4 and 3.
this didnt get enough attention. BF2042 vehicles are absolutely unacceptable. the support heli can do insane acrobatics. there is a high skill ceiling, but BF4 helis were just so crisp.
@@velaikka debatable at best. Nothing easy about jets in bf3, if you're against competent enemy pilots you won't be able to land any damage to nobody. Attack hellis are balancing each other with TV shots, LB is a good support but a total toast if close to enemy AA.
My faith will be restored in battlefield if they return the flight physics back to how they were in Battlefield 4. A helicopter shouldn’t feel like it’s on a pendulum or a cable
They updated the flight physics in 2042 about a year ago and it’s pretty good. I think it’s probably the best the physics ever were. But I also wouldn’t complain if we got BF3/BF4 flight physics back.
God I am breaking right now. You’re so right but I wish you were wrong. I want real Battlefield to come back strong. This game is my childhood and my gaming life. Sadly I haven’t touched Battlefield since 1.
They weren't this specific about it last time, and now they seem to specifically be saying they did things wrong with 2042, which isn't something any company normally does. I mean I still don't trust them, but it is different.
@stOneh3ad nah, didn't even buy the last few battlefields because it didn't fullfill my expectations. This was meant to be a reminder for others rather than a new discovery I made you genius. Your satire is directed at the wrong person here 🤷🏻♂️
They probably mean that the combat will be expanded upon and that heli/ship gameplay will have a larger impact in your success during a game. Just like how Tanks were OP in some maps on BFBC2 or having Jet superiority in BF3 Caspian border allowed players to move without tanks constantly harassing them. Just my 2 cents tho, not rooted in fact.
@k.s.7919 You're getting worked up over the wrong thing. Though, I don't blame you as it's evident alt-right YT grifters are trying to brainwash a large subset of gamers. The reason games suck more nowadays has nothing to do with a superficial diversity quota. It's entirely because CEOs, managers, and leads are greedy, self-absorbed, and more focused on how a game can make them a buck rather than how well-designed/polished it is (while simultaneously forgetting that a GOOD game makes GOOD revenue). They're trying their absolute best to get away with the least effort possible, while siphoning as much money as possible from your wallets. It really is that simple.
@k.s.7919 thats really dense thinking to think they havent reviewed what this series was based on and its previous and most successful entries are they know damn well and thats why they are showcasing roots because last battlefield and the one before we were all complaining about we want what happened before
I mean.. 2042 is essentially a modern day setting. They needed to go back to 2142 to actually change up the game a bit. BF 3, 4, 2042.. even BC 1 & 2 were essentially what they are doing here.
"Specialist will not be coming back, classes are kind of at the core of battlefield" -Yes get rid of it, i hate the specialists character and personality. I just want to be an military dude with no special abilities, corny voice line, just like the old Battlefield 2, 3 and 4. "We're not looking to take down Call of Duty. We're making something that's different and we're making something that's us" - That was the perfect response in terms of competition, i play both games but im really looking towards the intensity of the battle, environment changes due to destruction of the Battlefield. COD was perfect for my fast pace shooter but Battlefield is different. Conquest and breakthrough was lit! I hope they dont fail bad like BF2042, i had my lessons not to pre-order.

@JekFromTerra The F2000 being the Euro default Assault Class weapon, and the L96A1 as sniper. I still remember the sound of the L96A1, it was gorgeous. You could also use the grappling hook. The expansion was awesome.
As an old school gamer since BF1942, Battlefield for me will alway play best on big urban maps - Strike at Karkan, Operation Metro, Seine Crossing, Sharqui Peninsula, Flood Zone, Pearl Market, these maps were by far the best maps ever created, the fighting was on point where teamwork was essential, you had to work together or you could easily be over run by the opposing team. I really do hope they create maps where ground troops don't have to runn half a mile to get into the combat and where vehicles run the game, urban warfare alongside vehilces is the balance that's needed, the community said it many years ago, lets hope they just listen this time.
No, it's just you who's saying it. I'm a BF vet as well, played 'em all since BF2 and i think the big, open-ended maps with a lot of vehicles and terrain differences is where BF truly shines. I don't mind a few smaller urban style maps, i know some people prefer that and for instance Karkand and Sharqi are really good but the others you namedrop are goddamn awful. Not BF-worthy and just a desperate attempt to copy CoD style gameplay. If that concept art turns out to be a real map for BF6 then DICE understood where BF's true strength lies and that's definitely NOT at grenade-spamming, shotgun-wielding crap like Pearl Market or Operation Metro, but to each his own ofcourse
It needs a mix of tight urban spaces for infantry combat and the outskirts of urban open spaces for vehicle combat, you can have both on a map. Initial spawn on the outskirts/suburbs moving into the city, vehicles with actual destruction can be powerful if supported by squads in a city, it would play into the squad/team based gameplay that BF is known for

I never understood why they never made a BC3. It just seems so obvious and logical. If they can somehow capture the essence of BF3/4 mixed with the atmosphere and immersion of BF1, they would have winner on their hands.
The marketing was awful. I bought the game on half off discount a few months after release and i still play to this day. Its not perfect and needs more maps but its a million times better than 2042. Vehicle play is very balanced imo. @Gaizaz

I had some hilariously good times playing BC2.. sometimes the map would end up looking like the surface of the moon 😂
Hearing that operators are gone is the main thing for me. Operators were one of the worst things to happen to battlefield 2042. I don't want to be a grandma on the battlefield. I don't want to be some special quirky character, I just want to be a random soldier on the battlefield.
I'm glad other people feel the same way. Being some random person has always been my desire in games because you can imagine they're anybody.
Can’t agree more!
The moment they bring back dedicated classes, generic soldier skins, dedicated languages for factions, modifiable weapons, good gunplay mechanics and movement mechanics, and classic destruction from BF2, that will be the day I say they have “gone back to the basics.”

4 classes. Assault, Engineer, Support, Recon.
The beauty of BF3 was in how simple it was to grasp with it's mechanics and class systems.
I only ever played 5 and the medic is the one I like playing.
That was not the beauty of BF3 lol.
We need the old classes back IMO. The consoles can handle more players these days, unlike the ps3 and 360 days with limited player counts. 4 classes is too homogenized .
I dont think it should be simple at least for my taste. I do love the medic class

+ Community Test Environment
128 players isn’t the problem…It was the maps with 128 players on them.
Thank you for mentioning the atmosphere of 1
And vehicle play of bf V
I don't see a lot of people talking about this but this game needs a good singleplayer campaign. Sure, the series is and will be known for the multiplayer, but the campaigns from BF3, 4, 1 and 5 were all incredible in their own ways
I hate the way they always say “bigger” and things akin to that. Like, we want you to focus on getting the old feel and atmosphere back, with the great maps, music, models, balancing, vehicles etc. Get that first, then expand.
I also hate the way they're saying 'official concept art' and acting like it's special when it's quite clearly AI generated.
Look at some of the rooftops and windows lmao
Let's see how it goes, people will definitely pre-order and it'll be a rough start like Hardline, 2042, and V, and people will grow to like it when it becomes irrelevant a few years later. Can't wait 😂

To be fair, they didn’t say bigger, they said back to basics, so at least the language is pointing the right direction
pretty much all they talked about was how they're recapturing the feeling of bf3/4; going back to 64 players, getting rid of specialists and focussing on tighter map design. it's all marketing speak tho, they tried cashing in on bf3/4 nostalgia in the same way with 2042 and look how that turned out.
Yeah this is one trope within the AAA gaming industry that I absolutely hate. No, bigger does not in fact = better game. Tons of games out there with that type of marketing and when you play them the worlds are devoid of any passion and love for crafting a truly exciting open world that actively encourages you to explore with hidden secrets, fun enemies to fight everywhere and not just on 40% of the map.

128 Players wasn't the problem, they made the maps way too big. The point of wanting 128 players was to get more chaos out of the already chaotic smaller to medium sized maps.
Funny enough that's what people have complained about with 2042. There's too much chaos that reminds people of COD
I think having 128 players lowered the destructions and effects since you had more people to be synchronised at the same time
agreed, the amount of players wasnt the issue, only the maps and the lack of destruction. if they can fix that then 128 players might still be fun. doubt theyl be doing that though by the sounds
Period.
BF3 was peak, agreed

Battlefield 1 was the pinicle for me!
128v64 isnt about the count, its about the fact that it turns into a call of duty death match with people spwaning behind you so battle lines arent getting drawn. They need to slow down the game and revise the spawn locations.
exactly, you get it
As much as i like the movement in BFV, i will admit its too fast for a battlefield game.

Bring it back to BF3 mechanics where you can barrel roll and flip the helos. In BF4, you can't.. BF3 separated the men from the boys.
@@TwistaCSSyou can barrel roll and flip helos in 2042 like a mf lol
They updated the flight physics in 2042 about a year ago and it’s pretty good. I think it’s probably the best the physics ever were. But I also wouldn’t complain if we got BF3/BF4 flight physics back.
Or even like BF2. Ever played that? Helicopter mechanics were perfect.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's just going to be called "Battlefield" and it'll be a reboot of the series
Every BF recently was a reboot.
Im also sure... Because its also worked really good the first time with COD. Just remaster the fan favorite maps of all modern day battlefields
Probably would be best a new start and back to what we all loved about battlefield
Literally bf3 and bf4 was same game
That would be more confusing than calling their new game battlefield 1
They were so innovative with bf5 then they took 10 steps backwards with 2042, it was a real let down
They need to seriously take their time and look at what made their successful games work so well.
Based pfp
If only they had this sort of community or fanbase they could listen to... lol
@@Joshua-uq9zw can’t expect EA to listen to the community sadly
Isn't this exactly how they marketed 2042? I could not care less until the reviews are out. (journalists don't count)
@@showtimestein5859 No, they didnt. Portal was a "love letter" to the fans. No the game as a whole.
God I am breaking right now. You’re so right but I wish you were wrong. I want real Battlefield to come back strong. This game is my childhood and my gaming life. Sadly I haven’t touched Battlefield since 1.
The “gaming community” has been throwing a tantrum since Battlefield Hardline and BF 5
Y’all literally just jumped on the meme 😂
They weren't this specific about it last time, and now they seem to specifically be saying they did things wrong with 2042, which isn't something any company normally does. I mean I still don't trust them, but it is different.
Seeing some of the idiots that call themselves "youtubers" has me being real skeptical of anything a youtube review says.
That’s all we want is the battlefield 3 & 4 days to return with some minor additions and even crazier destruction.
Exactly, it's that easy to make a peak BF game, just mix 3+4+1 and a money printer will suddenly appear at their offices.
That's not even the game. That's just a cutscene. Hype purposes
back to basics better mean, normal soldiers, stealing dog tags, first person assassinations, maps that have cover, and actual good maps in general lol
True. No woke specialists
No pink weapons, no skin shop, knive kills in first person…

1:10 why are they talking about helicopter/boat combat as if it’s they’re new features..
Just my 2 cents tho, not rooted in fact.
if the burger has what you want quit bitching
@k.s.7919 100%
"Specialist will not be coming back, classes are kind of at the core of battlefield"
-Yes get rid of it, i hate the specialists character and personality. I just want to be an military dude with no special abilities, corny voice line, just like the old Battlefield 2, 3 and 4.
"We're not looking to take down Call of Duty. We're making something that's different and we're making something that's us"
- That was the perfect response in terms of competition, i play both games but im really looking towards the intensity of the battle, environment changes due to destruction of the Battlefield. COD was perfect for my fast pace shooter but Battlefield is different. Conquest and breakthrough was lit!
I hope they dont fail bad like BF2042, i had my lessons not to pre-order.
You mentioned Battlefield 2 🥹
I'm not the only middle aged Battlefield fan! RIP 1942, Vietnam & 2. BF2 is still my favourite in the series. (Sprinkled with Nostalgia and Teen Bias)
BF2 was the best game for me including the expansions, and the night map was unforgettable including the new factions and guns.
Initial spawn on the outskirts/suburbs moving into the city, vehicles with actual destruction can be powerful if supported by squads in a city, it would play into the squad/team based gameplay that BF is known for
@@ShapeshifteR-TheAnomalyGameCat Played since BF1942, the poster above always been working to destroy battlefield and make it call of duty. "why does the battleship have such big guns?
