The shield carry comp looks like a gun you’d find in the toy isle at Walmart it just looks too damn silly and the grip is thin feels like your gripping a wallet or something. Hey John, love all your stuff man. Thank you for all your wisdom. I'm a proud member of a S.O.B. Keep up what your doing, your helping guys like me become better Sentinel's.
My first pistol was a Springfield XD subcompact. Easy to conceal and shoot. The grip safety might make new shooters more comfortable. I have heard Glocks get returned a lot when the buyer starts worrying about the lack of a safety. I'm not a fan of manual safeties so the grip safety is a compromise.
There's nothing wrong with safeties. That is the propaganda of TH-cam commandos. I highly recommend getting a weapon with manual safety if you are new to handling weapons or just if you want a second layer of safety level.
The biggest reasons I purchased a Glock 17 Gen 5 is with the gen 5, they have pretty much all the bugs fixed. As for the 17, I just felt that my hands fit it the best. As for my skills as a shooter. Let me just say I was an 88M who almost deployed to Bosnia. Although I did qualify by shooting a 38/40 in basic, but that is like saying you know which way to point a claymore.
See, I love the reliability of Glock but being smaller (5' 3", small hands) the double stack was just too much for me to handle. P365 will give you some additional size change flexibility as the FCU can swap across their line of modular parts. I trust a Glock more in a pinch though. That's the tradeoff.
I have a G48 MOS and P365 Legion...I carry the G48 MOS.
That’s a nice leather holster
I carry only SIG Sauer
because it is the gun & rifle
I use in my 11 years in the Swiss Army
Thx for the recc!
I’m not a glock guy,, but the 48 would make a good gun for fist time owner,, they are good reliable guns
re doublestack Glocks, if I make an L, from my thumb joint to the trigger finger tip is six inches, it's just barely enough to shoot a G19 one handed, versus the G48, that gun fits the hand of everyone and anyone, women, kids its fun for the whole family.
Today, the Sheriff peels back a layer of his onions to share with us the importance of a good Glockamole.
In a van down by the river
or....peeled back that condom

Yet every Glock boy changes the trigger and adds all sorts of stuff to their “Glock Perfection” 🤣
Not me I add lint!

Get the Copperhead Kit from Taran, all tricked out. @@MikeK-k6q
Thank you!
I EDC a G48. Simple, easy, concealable, capable. 👍
gotta change out the mag catch if going to metal 15 rounders
The first question for a beginner is going to be what you want it for. And for a beginner, 99% of the time a good revolver is going to be the recommendation.
They sell grips pretty cheap that make it easier to hold with bigger hands too.
I've got a lot of people onto the sig p365. IMO opinion it comes down to grip angle. I don't like glocks grip angles. They never came natural. Great guns though. something for everyone these days
nGL when I first held one I wanted one have a couple of 19s I carry with a 17 rd mag and a p shooter 43 that my hand is too big for but I got for great deal
glock 48 it is!
I love my HK P30 SK w/ 15 round mag. I dont know what it is about glocks, maybe its the rap culture that ruined them for me? I dont know... The looked and FELT cheap for me when i first tried one? I guess at the end of the day its what FEELS the most comfortable for you. Not shitting on glocks or anything, matter of fact im actually kind of curious to give them another try again.
G26 but I might get something from shadow systems in the future
Glock 21 Gang 😎
Thanks for the tip Sheriff…
I have several Glocks. Med hand size. Got the 17 in 1988. I like my 43X for CCW my Gen 5 G19 for everything else. Only mods is Meprolight night sights on all weapons. Are there cooler guns sure I have a HKP7M8 the Gun James Bond should have used over that PPK. Here is my thinking I know Glock I eat sleep Glock all Glocks pretty much operate the same no though expended when handling a Glock. 90% of police officers use Glock they always seem to be around. Makes no difference to me I am not unique at the range. And I like my Glocks stock no mods except the sights!
No love for Beretta APX or Px4 series?
Seriously? You want him to name every gun? It's a simple recommendation for beginners. Why are you expecting a break down of all your favorite guns?
Just like Willie Brown’s girlfriend claimed to own a Glock?

I would suggest a good pistol from a reputable company, ie no Hi-point or SCCY’s….😂
@@MikeK-k6q I like Walthers, however I don't expect him to suggest one of them just cause that is what I like :)

That’s why I would suggest a pistol from a reputable firearms company…
Trying To Focus On Your Words Sir But The “Prison Wallet” Sticker Has Gotten My Full Undivided Attention 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀
If you carry a pistol in a holster (and you should), you can carry a spare mag, too (and you should).
The price is always good on Glock firearms 🔥
