- Welcome back! As part of a collab with SmugStick, we wanted to see what would happen if potara fusion never got retconned! While he got lucky and defused in the Buu saga, during his fight with Zamasu, Vegito doesn't get as lucky this time around. Let's see how it affects the Tournament of Power!

They'd still de-fuse because of buu's bad air, which was reconned when they made potara last for 1 hour, not sure about what the fuck would happen in the goku black arc, maybe they'd enter fat buu's body, de-fuse and then exit fat buu's body.

i can totally see Vegito asking Shenron to find him a powerful opponent since he as no one to spar with, and so Broly is found.
But since gogeta blue was overkill i feel brill stands no chance against vegito as well
@@soulrage8147 don't know about that, vegito or gogeta are certainly strong but that is because their original individuals are strong
I mean for goku and vegeta to grow that strong they needed to spar with each other, vegeto or gogeta being fused together will damper it's growth since neither would have an equal to spare with

@@soulrage8147 my assumption was vegito buu saga, the later they fuse the stronger will be, with current Broly story either fusion would have overpowered broly, although I don't think they could reach above top tier God of destruction level or angel

Hmm... Vegito being "his own training partner" made me wonder. What would happen if a fusion used a Multi-form-esque technique, such as the one from Spirit Control? Could Vegito use it to temporarily become Goku and Vegeta again, until the copies ended?
nah, it'd be like taking a slice of cake and getting a plate of one of the ingredients from it.

It would have to be a clone or a different person. Fusion using Potara Earrings creates a separate essence. Whereas if they used the fusion dance, which merges the two essences, they could split to train.

Vegito is getting tired of being the strongest in Universe 7 and wants a challenge.

And because of the TOP his eyes were open to more potential and he wants achieve it.
Kakarot side.
He ask Whis if there's anyone in the universe that could hold a fight to him. Whis uses his staff to check and finds planet Vampa.
He takes him there, they meet Broly, and they would have the fight on Vampa instead of Earth.

I think vegito defused in buu since he was trying to absorb them it pulled them apart and the barrier only stoped them from being absorbed immediately.
No Thats Not Possible cause in the Zamasu arc they Defused and Buu wasnt there and nobody was trying to absorb them

@heasel fatches No one said that he could. The original explanation for them defusing was "bad air" inside of Buu. This was later retconned so that fusions only last 1 hr.
Wait in this what if, what if they use Good Buu to absorb them then they use the same barrier then deactivate the barrier, potentially a unfusing character.

Before the recent retcon I always thought Buu breaking down Vegito was essentially "killing" him, so he should have brought him back as a separate character.
I think this one makes more sense because before they weren’t gods, in super they are gods and have even ascended that and are essentially super gods so it makes sense that they wouldn’t defuse

I agree vegito in goku black arc is said to be as strong as or stronger than beerus. So with training in between arcs and blue evolution it would be no contest.

I have a theory : if two people in the fusion dont have the same form ' they won't be able to transform into that form ' thats why if vegito couldnt defuse they wouldnt get ultra instinct considering that its goku and vegeta fused

Nah they would it was hinted in the anime when who’s said goku you need to think more and vegeta you need to think less, vegito is a perfect combination, this means that he will get ultra instinct easier than goku did and might get it as a base thing like how goku in the granolah saga is doing

I think that an easy way to make this what if work well would be to set it where it works like in the ret-con, the only difference is it takes the super dragonballs to un-fuse gods, but Vegito stays fused because both Goku and Vegeta have god ki infused into them, so I think that the potara may be tricked into thinking that Vegito was made up of gods, so that way it makes sense why Vegito originally defused in the Buu saga without having to rely on "bad air"

the actual thing was if they fused WHILE already super saiyan that it would greatly shorten their lifespan. however they powered up to it, which is no different than normal.

There's a plot hole with this. The magic inside of Majin Buu defused Vegito, so why didn't they get Buu to absorb them and spit them out to defuse them?
Idk maybe the air inside majin buu isn't the same as super buu's since the majin buu in super isn't evil anymore

Actually, this can happen if the Potara involved are from a Supreme Kai, because these temporally makes you one as long as you wear them.
So a Vegito wearing these can last forever and defuse whenever, or if the earrings got destroyed.
Sadly no one seems to recall this.

We have seen what if vegito is permanent, but, what if Metamorian fusion or Fusion Dance is permanent???🤔
The fatal flaw I find in this story is goten not having any desiree of his own. Goten is a child, and while his family isn't "poor" by this point in the story they aren't wealthy either. But even if his wish wasn't something materialistic, it would still be something he wanted, and this is assuming he could deal with the pressure of the situation he's in. It's also highly likely he would defer to adults to help him make a decision.

I think Vegito would've smashed Jiren... I mean, if Goku beat him on his own, Vegito certainly would have destroyed Jiren. And before anyone says, Ultra Instinct, why couldn't Vegito learn UI the way Goku did? Even without ultra Instinct though, Vegito overpowers Jiren for sure!
Here's a fun question though: Broly vs Jiren. Who wins THAT fight?

-can surpass GoD power levels at will
-Goku needed MUI to even heavily weaken Jiren, which he couldn't even access at will (in that saga)
-even full power SSJB Gogeta probably couldn't even beat him

-that's literally all i can think of
Also, we can't really confirm if any of those two will even win, since there's a thing called "Plot Armor" but it's highly likely that Jiren wins.

Here's a question , if ssjbe is so efficient in terms of stamina , easy to access even when depleted and can replenish the fighter and most durable form , then wouldnt it be the best form to use kaioken ? Can you imagine ssjbe Kaioken x20 , beerus would legit cry
Well, considering that SSB is weak in comparison to SSBE, and SSBE has a lower amount of Ki Control (Since it increases muscular mass) and Goku said that Kaioken had a 1/10 chance of successfully working or he would die, then SSBE+KKX20 probably means instant death, same thing happens with Basic SSJ + Kaioken, the energy stored on the body is simply too much.
Kiro well this is vegeto, so his body is much more durable than goku and vegeta. I think vegeto should be able to handle SSBE+kioken x20
