@luca papotto : apparently not, it's either you lower the power of the built in flash, buy some wireless trigger or use something(DIY) that will block the built in flash but will still trigger the slave flash(Speedlight)

Does the 565EX FOR NIKON HAVE HSS ?
I was told if it on manual and used with the Nikon d500 it works in that HSS MODE.

I tried this eos mount yongnuo flash with my nikon d500 and it didn't sync well, in 1/8000. I shot it at continues high and it flashed for every 3 frames. This flash works well with my nikon although it is for canon. Maybe the nikon version of this will work the high speed sync.

Hi a Question, does your onboard flash trigger? The images at the end appear to show it hasn't. If so how did you manage that?
I cannot seem to do it with my 7D

yes it had triggered , i used the camera flash to trigger the speedlight. the built in flash is set to -3 so it will act as a trigger.

Yes, it has red horizontals and verticals Assist light for you to focus correctly.
