I have this monitor and eventually made the switch to the M27Q because of the black smearing I get in darker scenes in games. The G27QC is amazing overall, but the black smearing was heavy enough to warrant a switch to the faster IPS option, for me. Nice review btw!

Was looking for this right here. I just bought a gigabyte G5 laptop, screen, and printer. The screen at the staples was the Q27QC A but all video reviews were of just the QC. Also mention in one video there was an “m” model as well? Overall for an aging millennial PC gamer. And casual gamer at that. This monitor is great. The differences are that the Model A has a slightly larger screen area, lower screen pixel density, higher sRGB, static screen resolution upper to 4000:1, and the additional connection ports were very welcome since the G5 doesn’t have as many. This basically replaced my Alienware setup for half the price. Lol wife put me on a budget.
I have the same monitor and on settings the resolution is 3840 x 2160 and the Xbox supports the 4k I’ve being trying to find the answer to why this is and can’t seem to find it
@@gussantos1 this monitor has a max framerate of 144hz. The playstation 5 is limited to 60 fps. You will be able to play PS5 games at max fps but you be able to maximize the monitors framerate. It works but not ideal. I suggest you go for 4k 60hz monitors.

Honestly, it's not great. I tried it among with many other VA panels. Best is obviously odyssey g7. But the second best? S2722dgm by dell. 2ms gtg. This g27qc /qc a has 7ms gtg. g32qc is even worse. 1ms MPRT does not matter, which you are telling to the viewers... Grey to Grey performance and response time is more important. MPRT is actually a gimmick by monitor brands as they lie to you so they can put it on the box. Feel free to research this topic :) Dell only marginally more expensive. Like 40 euros or so. In my country, g27qc-a is already out of stock. I asked why. They discontinued it. Many people returned it due to ghosting and smearing. I have the s2722dgm. I play valorant in immo 3. I have no ghosting or smearing with it. Pretty much the same performance like odyssey g7. But 165Hz instead of 240Hz.
