The passenger filming needs to be doing the count. Having the driver do the count is counterintuitive. Watch any other highway race videos, and the passenger yells 1,2,3 in rapid succession. Resulting in the best outcomes.

Just goes to show how well the turbos work in ferraris. Can see how quickly it pulls away from the 675, but the 675 has more top end though
I think it was the Pistas insane gearing that helped it a lot here

They use small turbos with fast spinning turbines which give them high amounts of instant boost. Or at least I think so

Love the channel but he's insane for running these cars in NY State though. I'm a resident and they have dedicated units for investigating street racing on TH-cam. Pretty well accepted here to NOT put footage up of racing on NY highways.
@@TheGeorunner Brooks is based out of Florida so many of the races he does are on Florida streets and tracks. I guess he was invited to NJ or NY (not exactly sure) by the Pista owner and Stangmode to race a tuned Pista against Stangmode's GT500 on the strip but that didn't pan out, the track was closed I guess. So he got another stock Pista(the one in this vid) and ran on the street so as not to make the whole trip pointless. But most of Stangmode and Streetspeed717's and a couple other guys' street races have been done in NY and NJ and they haven't come under significant scrutiny yet even though they've been at it for quite a while now.

Looked like 2.5 or 2.6 to 60 for the F8 Tribute.
The pista is one of the few mid engines cars that I think is beautiful. I just don’t usually like the proportions of that layout.
First time seeing the Pista in action, WOW the sound! And it moves out.
McLaren was gaining, impressed by pista though.
Why? 60-130 mph in 6.3 seconds is a second slower than the stock 720S. Not to mention what the 765LT will do

Shadowboost @ he sad in the other videos that the weather was quite bad for the performance and still the pista managed 6.3 with a passenger. Still really good, the only supercar faster doing it faster is 720s even with this handicap

Looking forward to a proper rematch. I’ve seen other races where the Pista is a hair slower. But who cares lets just marvel at the engineering put together by these companies.

Kinda don’t like how I seen all the videos but life of Palos said how the pista destroyed the GT500. I understand the 6000 rpm when stang mode was winning but still all the videos should have been shown. Because stangmode is trying to get his name out there with mustangs and he destroyed that 675lt and the pista he won except when you changed a few things up
Stangmode left the mclaren like it was standing still but yet you made him start from a odd rpm and only showed that the other youtubers atleast showed what really happened with all of it

nope, I showed all the races, and the last race of stangmode and the 675LT was the only legit one.... traction level 1 was OFF in that last race, and it was much closer.... as for the 40 roll vs 55 roll, come on, the GT500 is supercharged with TONS of instant torque, it's just fine doing a 40 roll... 50 isn't really his sweet spot, it's just the Pista's VERY bad spot...
DragTimes it seemed like he was walking the pista in some at the top end but seen the roads you were on and it didn’t look like you had much to play with. Plus you were stuck at high rpm with the ones he was pulling on. But the question is was stangmode at a good rpm when you were getting him. I like how 3 channels have different POV and shows there interpretation of what went down. 60-130 GT500 had it but under 60 no but it seemed like you had. Less GT500 clips

How is the 675 reeling in the Pista? It should easily be pulling away from the lower powered McLaren. I guess this explains how the 720s can walk away from the Pista.

@@algebralineare1 The 675 is definitely stock. A 675 with a remap can easily leave a Pista behind. I was just surprised it was pulling so hard on the Pista. The Pista always takes off really well thanks to it's turbo configuration but I would have expected the 675 to have just stayed with it rather than catch it. But then this is a McLaren and they always dramatically over-perform.

Ferrari is a finely tuned Piece of art. Mclaren is a fast car that’s very poorly made, has horrible depreciation and the worst customer service in the exotic car Business. Owned two Mclarens and will never buy another one unless they make drastic and necessity changes.
