Seeing a lot of folks in the comments talk about buying crystal pendulums and since some folks don't have the cash...
HERES A REMINDER
Anything works for a pendulum! I've seen washers on the end of a knotted piece of twine work wonders. I've seen folks use their phone chargers with the socket adapter as a weight. Fancy crystal ones are nice but not necessary. Crystals can conduct intention stronger if you have them, but you can work your will just as well through something lying around the house if you need.

One can connect to Spirit guides using pendulum. If one has difficulty getting clear answers from spirit, one can connect with Spirit guides using a pendulum. Pendulums can also be used for healing. Requires practice. Once connected with Spirit guide always keep both feet still resting flat on floor, moving feet or lifting heel will break connection with Spirit guide (very important). If one moves feet or lift heel, connection is broken and another Spirit guide will appear. One can change hands holding pendulum and not lose connection. Remove all metal jewelry on body, including fingers, hands, wrists, etc., which will interfere with communication and receiving energy from Spirit guide (very important). Find a quiet place to connect with Spirit guide when connecting with pendulum (very important). Rest elbow on table which holds pendulum and avoid moving hand around as this makes it difficult for Spirit guides. Try to keep hand still in one place (very important). Avoid having the pendulum hit, rub, bump, or make any contact with any objects once connected with Spirit guides as this will break connection. Coughing and sneezing will break connection (very important). When connection is broken due to reasons mentioned above, you will have to begin a new session from the very beginning (very important). Recommend using powerful pendulums for better communication and healing. Brass pendulums are much more powerful than crystal pendulums. After many years of experience, I recommend brass pendulums for communication and healing. Brass is self cleaning whereas crystal is not (must be cleaned after each use as it picks up and hold unwanted energies). Healing times will be much faster using powerful brass pendulums. I personally use a brass golden hue pendulum. An example pendulum healing, "Spirit Guide, are you an expert healer and can you heal my damaged liver and make perfect? Spirit guides have different abilities. If Spirit guide responds "yes", ask "Spirit guide, heal my liver." If Spirit guide responds "no", ask Spirit guide, "send me to Spirit guide who is an expert healer and can heal liver and make perfect. Thank you." Be specific as possible when asking for help and when asking questions. Learn how to get "yes" "no" and "maybe" from Spirit guides using a pendulum. Spirit guides appreciate us behaving with kindness. After session, thank your Spirit guide. Spirit guides do a lot of hard work. Condition of liver will determine how many sessions are needed to heal liver. Health and healing depend on many conditions. See your doctor for any health concerns. Additional helpful info. Clean crystal pendulums after each use. Either by burning sage and let the smoke remove negative energy from pendulum for 15 seconds, calling on Archangel Michael to clean pendulum (look at pendulum wished to be cleaned and say softly or in normal speaking voice: "Archangel Michael, clean the pendulum of negative energy" (will take about 3 hours to clean), rinsing pendulum in water for 30 seconds, placing pendulum directly under the full moon for the night, or burying pendulum into the ground for 24 hours. Best time of day to connect with Spirit guides during sunlight hours. Turn off all nearby electronics (computer, radios, put cell phone on airplane mode, etc) as this interfere with connection or move to another location or room away from electronics. @@emmanicole6500 there are many ways to clean it! But it also depends on the specific crystal as some can crack or lose color in the sun and in water some can also get damaged in water so please do your research!

@@emmanicole6500I use Reiki asking for any previous energies to be cleansed which I find relaxing. Some use running water, sunshine, moonlight or Reiki which is my choice but check if your stone can cope with those elements. Reiki is fine for any stone or metal but not everyone is attuned to it. I'm sure there are other ways to cleanse a pendulum.
Pendulum connects to your higher self them answer your questions. You must first learn to feel your HS through meditation to bring your HS closer I mean to have more connection. When you first have your pendulum it is advisable not to rush start using it. I will personally advise you to cleans it with water and salt, then keep it under the sun for some few hours. Then always put the pendulum in your pocket or anywhere close to you then most importantly sleep with it under your pillow at night. All this will make your pendulum be used to your energy. Then you can start using it. Don’t share your pendulum with other because it will attract their energies. Keep it safe and with you only. Cleans it every week or even after each session just as your intuition tells you.

Beginners should know the yes and no signs from a pendulum can be different for different people. For some it is circles but for me it is forward and backwards for yes and side to side for no. It seems to be the same with every pendulum I have but I always test a new one as it may react differently.
how can you tell which signs are no or yes? is it just by asking them to show signs for no and yes?
@@jiseyel Yes, ask your pendulum to show you it's yes, then ask it to show it's no. I always ask for it's maybe as well. Then try it out. Ask a question you know the answer to and it should answer you correctly. Ask it something you know is wrong and see what it says. I always ask if it is alright to ask some questions before I start, then, at the end, I say thankyou. It is good fun! I've found mislaid things with mine. I ask it to point to where the article is on a plan of my home then ask the same thing from another angle and where it crosses is where your item should be. Once you get going you keep finding things to ask the pendulum and the way Griffin checks her interpretation of cards drawn is a good use as well. I use mine a lot to check food is suitable for me as I have allergies and not all the ingredients are shown in a lot of cases. I get some funny looks in the supermarket!! Have fun if you get a pendulum!!

interesting, forward and back is "yes" for mine, a clockwise circle is "no" and "confusion/inability to discern" is a clockwise circular motion on a weird diagonal......our energies are all so different, isn't this world amazing?!

It was what caught my eye in the store, the stone variety is blue goldstone.
I have a blue goldstone pendulum somewhere! It is a beautiful stone which jumped out at me in the shop so, though I didn't go in for a pendulum, I had to have it! I must use one of the pendulums I have to find it!! When my son was missing I asked where he was in the world and it pointed out somewhere I thought unlikely but, when he contacted me sometime later, that is just where he had been! All I did was, on a map, ask the pendulum where he was and drew a line along the direction of the swing. Then I asked the same question in another place and drew another line. Where the lines met was where he was. Try it with something that you know where it is. If it is in the house, draw a map of your house to draw the lines on. It does take practice but you will very soon have it working for you. I lost my wedding ring a few years ago but the pendulum told me I will never find it! 😢 Enjoy your pendulum, you will have lots of fun as well as it being a useful and beautiful thing to own.

So I just picked up pendulum yesterday after cleaning it under the full moon, it was my first time, things are actually happening that I didn't expect and now I don't know where to go, right now I'm like a little kid asking a bunch of questions, also somehow it all came very naturally, because I did everything everybody has been explaining what to do, I'm almost dumbfounded... These are serious swings and if I ask it to move it faster for aore clear answer it does it, also I asked obvious questions like is my name Allison or did it rain today and answers were correct. I'm blown away.

@@sandrameii I am not sure, there are mixed opinions on wether or not to use protection, you can use it to contact spirits but you can also use it with your subconscious so I think it depends on the way you use it

I use Reiki but you can use a smudge stick or, if the stone is OK in water, cold running water from the tap. Moonlight is supposed to be good but here in UK it is usually cloudy and we don't see moonlight that often!
@@sandrameii You can also light a black candle for protection whenever you're doing your readings!
For me moving in a circle clockwise means "yes" and anticlockwise means "no." Up and down or left or right indicates unknown or unsure. I feel like my subconscious interferes with it and wields it in the direction it wants it to move. It's hard for me to clear my mind... Thanks for the video😄

To get accurate answers the TA recommended to start measuring the period when the pendulum has v=0, also you should try to have a controlled environment with little airflow. Also don't forget to measure many periods, not just one, it'll be more accurate. Also, measure the length of the string very carefully. Always compare your results with the theoretical answer (use python to approximate K(k)).
Sounds a bit technical to me! I use mine whenever a question comes to mind wherever I am and get very good, accurate, results.

I am learning to be a witch
I have often had lucid dreams, but I never managed to do it on purpose. I just somehow become aware during a dream. Last year I did a kind of meditation talking to my inner child after one of your videos, and said sorry to her. And then went to sleep, and had a dream where I looked in a mirror and saw me like I once looked like. And was like eewww no I don't like this reflection and the reflection got sad and rejected and thats when I got lucid and realised it was my inner child and called her back and said sorry to her. I was such a profound dream.
and btw I am very used to using a pendulum and it gives me very clear answers, connect very well to it. It will start swingin from complete stillness in huge circles or back and forthh when i ask, and then when i say thank you it will stop so fast it is as if someone grabbed it. My mom who can see auras has also used it, and it's the same withh her. To a point it kinda freeaked her out lol.
You should also ask for it to show you yes no and not sure every time you use it because it could change. I also find it helpful to carry around new pendulums so they can align with you before using it for the first time. My pendulum does the opposite of what yours does (all the time even though I check it before I use it every time). North-south for yes and circles for no and chaotic swinging for not sure.

You don’t have to buy a crystal pendulum! I made one from a resin piece my great uncle made, as long as it’s personal to you and has weight, you can get crafty and creative
currently i have a turquoise pendulum! i havent felt very connected with it thought & plan on getting another one. recently, those chakra pendulums have been getting my attention. you know, those “rainbow” ones. im going to a lil crystal shop tmrw to get my first tarot deck but might add a pendulum to my cart :D

I would use dices to have answers… I’d use rocks I found in the fields behind my house to hold and try to connect to, i’d ask whatever presence was there : which rock do I use? It was like an elimination game. the three remaining would have random numbers and when I rolled the dice, it fell on 4, on a red rock. it fell on 4 twice.
To ask questions, I’d write on a paper : yes = below 5 ; no = over 5.
And it worked! I’d get the same answers when I asked a second time.
Anything works, truly.

It is extremely important to set an intention that the messages come from a clear source. I started channeling accidentally this year and was intercepted and abused by a nasty spirit - my guides confirmed later and told me there was no energy to make sure it was from a clear source. I used a pendulum later and asked if it was being intercepted/clear and I kept getting no. And of course, this isnt something to follow 100% if its not seeming right for you. Its still your own life, your own choice, your own discrimination

I picked up a few pretty purple ones, felt nothing, picked up my clear one STRONG STRONG CONNECTION, for me it’s energy in my heart, also I highly recommend over a flat surface

I bought a pendulum when I considered myself a Wiccan and I was very new to Witchcraft and spiritual stuff. I had a nice amethyst crystal but it was so expensive so I started to dislike it after a while, so I bought a new pendulum just for decoration, but I thought I lost it so I bought another one and I found both the other lost ones. So now I have 3 and I might as well learn to use them rather than keep them as decorations😂
When those events happen , it's likely and a suggestion that, you are perhaps not ready for this. That can also mean, you have no need of using one. Some people don't need a device to devine. There are many aspects to use that the presenter hasn't covered. However as a basic outline it's reaonable. Attunement isn't just buying a crystal &. meditation as example. There is a process which I encourage students to research themselves. At the very least you have three wonderful pieces to enjoy)0(. Blessings

To remove all variables, why not hang the pendulum from a stationary object and ensure that it is at rest before asking questions? This way, you are not influencing the movement of the pendulum at all by slight movements in your hand or arm.
hello! I read somewhere that you were supposed to hold in the middle of the pendulum instead of at the top because it could make the pendulum move slower

I hold mine by the bead at the end of the chain. I find it makes the swing better but on one pendulum the chain is very long so I drape it over my forefinger.

When asking the pendulum a question can you ask it in your mind or do you have to say it out loud xx
It's preferred to say it out loud (just like with tarot and affirmations) 😊
Yes, sat it out loud but, if you are in company who would think you are mad, it will work saying it in our mind or very quietly under your breath. I do that in the supermarket to see if things are suitable for me to eat as I have allergies to ingredients usually but not necessarily written on the package.

I have heard some good questions to ask are ones you already know like "Is my eye color -" "Is my shirt color -" ext ext. And mix up ones that are yes and no answers and see if it answers correctly.
My current pendulum is my first one ever. I'm new to spirituality and the associated practices thereof. I have her for three days now and I could gain some clarity as to certain emotions of mine by asking direct questions. Some weren't answered and I know it's because it's not my time to know the answers.
She also does not swing the way usual ones do. My "yes" is a linear pendulating movement, whereas my "no" is a clockwise circle. "Maybe" or "not your time to know the answer" is anticlockwise. This also is true of many other things of my personality - it doesn't follow the norm of standards.

Rather than saying "should I", a better phrase is "is it in my highest and best interest to".... When you use "should" you are taking away your own self determination and giving the power to another entity make the determination for you.

Not to nitpick, but i would not release the stone until it's at a complete stop and the chain is taut and straight. That way its at a complete stand still before it responds to you'r energy.

So just as a heads up, not all pendulums resonate with you. Ive had to try 7 different pendulums at a psychic fair by asking if it was mine and only the 7th responded. Also, asking for a blessing for protection from negative energies helps before you start, as well as clearing your mind and stopping your thoughts to help center yourself, i believe.
I have a situation with my pendulum. When I ask it show me yes it does counterclockwise circles. So I'll ask it "is 7+7=14?" It will answer clockwise. I asked it "Did I go to MSU for my Masters degree?" (I did), and the pendulum spun clockwise. Then I asked it is Xxxx my true magickal name?" (Which I got from a very reliable source and have confirmed it is) and this time it spun counterclockwise, like when I asked it to show me its yes answer. So for some reason my pendulum has 2 types of yes answers and only 1 no answer, which is side to side. What is up with my pendulum having 2 yes answers? A clockwise and a counterclockwise? But wait, there's more ... I asked it "show me your maybe answer" and it spun clockwise... Yet, when I ask it things that are absolutely true like "is 5+5=10" it will spin clockwise which is it's maybe signal. Why would that be happening?
Make sure you protect your energy before working with pendulums as dark energy can intercept this process. Also, ask your Spirit Guides and Angels to close any dark energy portals before and after you do this if you must. Following and strengthening your intuition is the best thing for us human beings either way. The Universe and our Higher Self communicate to us through our intuition all the time.

My Mom and Sister swear by their pendulums. So I bought one from Amazon. Black Obsidian. No one has touched it but me and I've had it on me all day. I would say its more than your self conscious its spiritual guidance
I have been using a pendulum for several years, off and on. Away and back is yes, left to right is no, clockwise is I don’t know and counterclockwise I cant tell you, for me.
I also us finger movements. Index finger twitches means yes, the thumb twitch means no, the little finger means I don’t know and middle finger is I know but I’m not telling you. I like them both, but in public I use finger twitches. You do it by putting your hand palm down on a Surface, you teach your subconscious the what each finger means. You can teach this to someone you are working with, or one of your children and ask them questions and the subconscious will answer with a finger movements. They may say yes to a question, but the subconscious will say no, unless the answer is yes. I find the pendulum works better and is faster but feels odd doing it in a restaurant or in public, so I will use the finger movement method when in public. My kids hide their hands now when they talk with me, they say it’s unfair that I can read the truth by their finger movements. They don’t know that you can teach the subconscious eye movements also.
