  • Big Beehive Hike gives the BEST View of Lake Louise!
And Banff Lake Louise is the topmost attraction at Banff National Park. Millions of tourists visit Calgary Alberta to see this natural wonder every summer.
In this Banff Travel Guide I will take you to the best Lake Louise Lookout that gives you views of the lake and Lake Louise Fairmont Hotel via the Lake Agnes trail, all the way to the Big Beehive Lookout.
This is the Lake Agnes Teahouse trail that takes you from Lake Louise to Lake Agnes and from here you can take the Big Beehive trail to reach this lookout. There is a Little beehive trail also but that has different viewpoint. I was also consideing little beehive vs big beehive but locals told us to the latter because although the Big Beehive hike is tough but the views are insane so definitely add big beehive to your banff bucket list. It is a must-do when visiting Banff Lake Louise
Lake Louise is a summer as well as a winter destination. Summer in Lake Louise calls all the nature & outdoor lovers while winter at Lake Louise attract the skiing lovers.
Lake Louise Ski Resort is the starting point for anything. Lake Louise Village is not located at Lake Louise and you can park your car at the ski resort and take the Parks Canada shuttle to both Moraine Lake and Lake Louise.
From Banff downtown, Lake Louise is an hour ahead and you can easily do a lot here. From canoeing to hiking to just chilling on the lakeshore. But make sure to start early around sunrise because Lake Louise gets busy.
Remember to keep bear spray while hiking in banff because bear encounters are common in summers and you have to be prepared.
If you planning a Canada road trip and adding items to your Canada bucket list then make sure to add Lake Louise to it because even though it's overcrowded and some even may say overrated, it is definitely worth it.

Thanks! I did carry bear spray but didn’t see any bears. It’s advised to carry them.

Nice video…when did you go? Did you have any issues with wildfire smoke? We are going end of September…hopefully the fires die down by then.

Nice Video. I am following all your video. Excellent work and lot of information. QQ. In the previous video you mentioned that we need to take shuttle t Lake Louise / Moraine,. But in this video, I see that you have parked in lake louise. Do we have the drive and park option?

Thanks! I am glad you found them informative.
The mandatory shuttle is only for Moraine Lake. Parks Canada shuttle starts from Lake Louise Ski Resort where you can park your car and that shuttle ticket also includes a connector shuttle between Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. So basically you can visit both lakes on the same day using that shuttle option while your car is parked at ski resort area.
Alternatively, you can drive and park at Lake Louise.

Your friends in Australia are wetting their pants. Ha Ha. Annual visitors to Great Barrier Reef 2 million out of which only 400,000 are international. Banff 4,000,000.
