I miss black clover. I got into it after running out of anime to watch and saw black clover was consistently having a new episode everyweek while it was still airing so i binged on it hard. Asta's screaming never bothered me and only thought of it as his way to getting noticed as everyone back at his home village turned their backs on him.
I fell in love with Black Clover from the start. I liked Asta and Yunos rivalry as it felt much healthier than a Naruto and Sasuke, Deku and Bakugo, etc. Then I was introduced to the black bulls and just fell in love with all of them. All the individual arcs each go through keeps every episode interesting. Asta’s never giving up, noelle’s journey to be accepted, finral gaining courage, magna trying to get stronger, vanessa facing her past, it’s all so good! This is all facilitated by my favorite character in the show, Yami. Not to mention I didn’t even start talking about the magic night squad captains like Fuegeleon, Nozel, Charlotte, Jack (insane in the manga), and Vangeance. But when I was watching the Elf Reincarnation arc I truly considered this series one of my all time favorites. Every episode was packed with hype moments and crazy battles that added to the characters. Noelle and Nozel accepting each other, Finral vs Langris, Asta Magna and Vanessa vs Luck, Asta and Yuno fighting Licht for the first time, Yami’s mana zone. Truly peak fiction thank you Tabata you are a legend for writing this story and this video is amazing!! ❤ ⚫️🍀

Black Clover suffers from the Fairy Tail problem, everyone hates it but it has a supportive community that won't betray it and will support it and it's mangaka until the wheels fall off
Dope video! I'm so glad to see a video like this on Black Clover. At the time i started it (in 2018) I was literally the only person willing to give it a chance at all, so I'm glad more and more people are starting to see its charm and enjoy it like I did. The same feels I get from Black Clover is like how I felt watching Fairy Tail. Edit: I could go on and go about my favorite characters, how much I like them, how I like how the writing handles common tropes and etc. But I will spare you because I am a crazed fan, you are welcome.
I started Black Clover around the time it got to the Eye of the Midnight Sun Encounter in the cave in the anime. I remember people slandered the crap out of the series (they still do) and i wanted to see for myself what the issue was. I’m glad I did because i think the one thing I truly fell in love with is Asta and Yuno’s brotherly relationship. While so many shows have the main protagonist and their rival hate eachother this was the one series where the mc and his rival actually treated eachother as friends.
It's literally my favorite anime. Asta has always felt really relatable to me and I felt motivated to improve myself through his determination and sheer will to never give up. I went into it not really knowing what to expect aside from the premise (minus the anti magic, for whatever reason I didn't know about that until AFTER getting into it lol) and I ended up loving every second of it. It's a series that doesn't really have a point where the quality dips at all. It's only gotten better and better with each episode/chapter imo. I think the Seabed Temple Arc was probably the one that solidified it for me as one of my favorites purely because of the fight with Vetto. Everyone was pushed beyond their limits and even through Asta, Vanessa, and Finral didn't have a ton of experience working together, they were still willing to put their faith in one another and strategize in a way that really showed off what each of them could do at the time. Basically, it's the "power of friendship" but done right and in a way that doesn't feel forced for the sake of plot. Honestly, the only real criticism I have is that the animation is inconsistent at times but the episodes where it matters (Examples being stuff like ep 1, 100, the tournament arc, and literally everything after the timeskip) are done beautifully. And Asta's screaming never bothered me, it shows his drive and conviction and a lot of times, adds extra weight to what he's saying in crucial moments. It's not much different than when any other shonen protagonist screams but somehow people found excuses to complain about it. But if the animation or yelling is really a problem, the manga has neither and every panel I've read of it looks amazing. Also... the OP's are all goated and the movie is fire, no one can convince me otherwise. I could go on for hours on end about how much I love this series but I'd be beating a dead horse. I think Tabata deserves more recognition for what he's created and I'm looking forward to seeing whatever he does next.

If I'm gonna be honest, the only reason I got into Black Clover was because of 2 clips: The scene in the tournament arc with Asta, Magna, and Luck confronting Langris and the scene in the witch arc where Asta goes half mode for the first time. I remember one day I was trying to choose what to watch and around this time, I just got into anime so everything I had seen so far was recommended to me. I saw BC on Crunchyroll and started it and it's one of the greatest decisions I've made. Caught up with the manga waiting for chapter 369 to come out and black clover is for me, top 3 favorite series. I didn't realize I wrote so much so: tldr; I saw clips of the jumping scene during the tournament arc and the awakening at the witch arc and I chose to invest in the series. Great vid btw
Another thing , if you can watch the first 200 episodes of OP with Luffys loud ass, erens loud ass for 3 season, bakugo and Izuku yelling and crying for 4 seasons or FMAB with Edward’s screaming little man syndrome , you can push 50 episodes of Asta yelling
Just finished the anime last week, it was way more enjoyable than i thought i'd be I should not have listened to the haters, this show got heart Its such a simple story, but watching it just makes me happy, it inspires me to be better, not only for myself but also for the people around me

Black Clover is the Shonen ideal. I love Shonen, so of course I love Black Clover. But my bond with Black Clover is a bit more personal, I never got into anime as a kid, sure there was DBZ and Naruto that came on SABC 2 from time to time but I wasn't hooked on it. Hell Naruto was done when I actually got into anime as a teen. I used to just binge anime never really was into weekly stuff. Until one day I saw a cool looking fantasy anime and binged all 15 episodes. But it wasn't 15 episodes it kept going, and I kept watching weekly. Every Tuesday I'd watch the newest episode. And that's when I started being a Black Clover fan. If I never became a Black Clover fan I'd never have watched One Piece. Also how is it still underrated 😭I don't get it? It's so fire!

I started Black Clover like by chapter 103 in the anime and refused to continue from chapter 1 to 170 because I want to wait until the next anime season and watch it fully and have the best expereince, as before I hated on Black clover with the old "Oh ItS a CoPy Of NaRuTo" but after seeing it and experience it first hand I said to myself that it was one of if not the best anime I watched in my whole life I read the manga and I caught up to it although id love to see it weekly I prefer Tabata's health and family first, the "why" I liked it was mostly because of Asta's mentality and motivations the way he keeps on going on inspired me (although I also shared this same types of things and thoughts before watching Black Clover) I liked how they made it and made me feel close to the character and now I am waiting for the next manga chapter very anxious because its probably one of the bests Ill see.

Watched this after the latest chapter 🤩 I stop reading the manga not because I'm bored of it or anything negative but because I'm saving it for future me to marathon reading it later which I already did. Also when you said something like how Black clover is the right recipe for a shounen manga is exactly the right word to describe black clover. I hate the fact that people always looking down on bc fan and calling the series as "mid" only because it's one of the shounen anime so the word "black clover has the right recipe for a shounen series" seems to be the good word to convince people to find out more and deep about the series.

I hope Tabata is doing alright man, man has been pushing himself to his limits to give us a banger of a series. I'm glad he's able to rest and work on Black Clover at his own pace. Hopefully the next couple of BC chapters are 50+ pages with banger art
@@tyronsredux yeah I hope stuffs alright with his wife and the pressure isn’t as heavy on him now cause he’s great when he’s able to create stuff like most of black clover…. Man just the amount we all freaked out noticing the clocks changing and inconsistencies and number of likely deaths in the battles which some called “stupid”/inconsistent/etc without realising it was intentional and obviously questionable how some injuries were as though they’d never transpired but without any fate rewriting being possible etc. It was clear time got rewound a number of times and I really wish we got more of all those details as stuff about him and the powers taken from astaroth were better explained…. Maybe there’s something involving Ástâ’s development in there? I dunno… But I do hope stuff is going better for him and can’t wait to see what he’s cooked up since last chapter even if I’d prefer more frequent chapters instead of the every few months set up which.. I feel it could mess with the pacing and take years to have it feel normal if he’s not finished the manga by then which just has me concerned about letting such a gem go unfinished! Too much quality to let sink in the background like this! I do feel need to actually read hungry joker since I’ve only heard good things and how it’s either before or after the BC timeline depending on how you interpret the power systems etc. There are some wild theories on that stuff… But I just hope he knows we’re all wishing him well and totally stoked for more material when he’s able to…
i watched the death battle between asta and deku and at the time mha was the first and my favorite anime so when deku lost i was all like this asta must have been over hyped watched the anime on crunchy roll was like i won't get invested because i am watching to hate the show then after that first episode i fell in love with the story and the characters and after that it has been my favorite shonen anime ever since
so for me i liked it because it was different then the rest of the shonene at the time it deviate slowly and took risks although it had a lot of caracters it didn't lose it characterization and asta being a asta it relatable and not too simple or too complicated or over explaining it was perfect in it ordinary and that what made it special
I do highly agree with you, what i love about asta than most protagonist is that i found him relatable, funny, understandable, and very to himself him and denji i love the most even thou yes i think BC is a kid version of Naruto and bleach i still find it more likeable it juat saddened me that it's not as big and popular as other series like for example now that his movie came out they move it to Netflix, not bothered to play it in theaters at all they do that for dragon ball, mha, even jjk 0 but not black clover?! Black clover is the greatest show ever. I'm not too big on anime, but my aunt recommended it to me, and since then iv rewatched it countless times. Best. Anime. Ever. (In my strong and correct opinion that is)

It may look better than most any animes today because their a lot identical iskekeis, slice of life running at the same time. 9 is more for anime like gintama, Kill la kill, air gear 10 is for anime that subjectly the best in their genre like dbz, the big 3 and berserk
I watched the hole anime but for me when i was watching i always had the nagging feeling something was missing. The serious moment never felt as serious as they could be because there were always jokes thrown around. And i really didn't like most of the elf arck. For me this anime was fine im glad so many people enjoy it but i think its just not for me. Maybe i find myself disappointed by the story because i had my own ideas of how the story should end. My idea was something like this : yuno and asta are fighting something or someone powerful, but asta falls during the course of the battel. Hes dead.. and yuno had to see it all. In hes anger of loosing the closest family hes ever had. He kills what killed his brother and during the course of this he brakes 1 of hes firts promises to asta... he broke the promise that he'll never cry again. The monsters dead. It was all so easy. How could i have allowed myself to fail. Thinks yuno. He blames himself for the death of asta. He achieved everything asta could have yet hes forgotten. Yunos the soul one praised, he is royalty after all. He continues to protect the people of the clover kingdom, but those who know him see him as the broken man he is now. The man that fufils hes duties to not think about hes guilt. I thought it would be interesting to see how a character like yuno would cope with the fact of deaths inevitably and if he got everything they dream of achieving together with asta
I'd say Tokyo Revengers has a better underdog protagonist than Black clover in my opinion, because Takemichi is an underdog through and through, and doesn't gain the most broken ability in his verse to become stronger.
About the brokenness of the ability, we saw how abilities can be considered weak or strong depending on the user. Like look at light magic, its op af but in the hands of the current king(Augustus) it's a f'ing joke. Can't forget about liebe vs asta either not to mention liebe acknowledging asta as the reason why he came this far(back during twin devils)
well biggest problem with black clover anime is repetative humor made in episodes in between the arcs espetially on romacse side where every female character goes crazy when near their love intrest (im looking at mimosa noelle and charla i personally dont have problem with that but when i was watching bc with my best friend he always cringed at those senes same with my yonger bro who droped anime bc of that
Both are good. It's just that we cannot help but respect Asta's mental fortitude and when ppl compare Asta and Deku, we cannot help but notice how weak Deku's mental fortitude is compared to Asta's

I hate the fact that people always looking down on bc fan and calling the series as "mid" only because it's one of the shounen anime so the word "black clover has the right recipe for a shounen series" seems to be the good word to convince people to find out more and deep about the series.

Man just the amount we all freaked out noticing the clocks changing and inconsistencies and number of likely deaths in the battles which some called “stupid”/inconsistent/etc without realising it was intentional and obviously questionable how some injuries were as though they’d never transpired but without any fate rewriting being possible etc. It was clear time got rewound a number of times and I really wish we got more of all those details as stuff about him and the powers taken from astaroth were better explained….
Maybe there’s something involving Ástâ’s development in there? I dunno…
But I do hope stuff is going better for him and can’t wait to see what he’s cooked up since last chapter even if I’d prefer more frequent chapters instead of the every few months set up which.. I feel it could mess with the pacing and take years to have it feel normal if he’s not finished the manga by then which just has me concerned about letting such a gem go unfinished!

i watched the death battle between asta and deku and at the time mha was the first and my favorite anime so when deku lost i was all like this asta must have been over hyped watched the anime on crunchy roll was like i won't get invested because i am watching to hate the show then after that first episode i fell in love with the story and the characters and after that it has been my favorite shonen anime ever since

so for me i liked it because it was different then the rest of the shonene at the time it deviate slowly and took risks although it had a lot of caracters it didn't lose it characterization and asta being a asta it relatable and not too simple or too complicated or over explaining it was perfect in it ordinary and that what made it special
I do highly agree with you, what i love about asta than most protagonist is that i found him relatable, funny, understandable, and very to himself him and denji i love the most even thou yes i think BC is a kid version of Naruto and bleach i still find it more likeable it juat saddened me that it's not as big and popular as other series like for example now that his movie came out they move it to Netflix, not bothered to play it in theaters at all they do that for dragon ball, mha, even jjk 0 but not black clover?! Black clover is the greatest show ever. I'm not too big on anime, but my aunt recommended it to me, and since then iv rewatched it countless times. Best. Anime. Ever. (In my strong and correct opinion that is)

It may look better than most any animes today because their a lot identical iskekeis, slice of life running at the same time.
9 is more for anime like gintama, Kill la kill, air gear

I watched the hole anime but for me when i was watching i always had the nagging feeling something was missing. The serious moment never felt as serious as they could be because there were always jokes thrown around. And i really didn't like most of the elf arck. For me this anime was fine im glad so many people enjoy it but i think its just not for me. Maybe i find myself disappointed by the story because i had my own ideas of how the story should end. My idea was something like this : yuno and asta are fighting something or someone powerful, but asta falls during the course of the battel. Hes dead.. and yuno had to see it all. In hes anger of loosing the closest family hes ever had. He kills what killed his brother and during the course of this he brakes 1 of hes firts promises to asta... he broke the promise that he'll never cry again. The monsters dead. It was all so easy. How could i have allowed myself to fail. Thinks yuno. He blames himself for the death of asta. He achieved everything asta could have yet hes forgotten. Yunos the soul one praised, he is royalty after all. He continues to protect the people of the clover kingdom, but those who know him see him as the broken man he is now. The man that fufils hes duties to not think about hes guilt.
I thought it would be interesting to see how a character like yuno would cope with the fact of deaths inevitably and if he got everything they dream of achieving together with asta

I'd say Tokyo Revengers has a better underdog protagonist than Black clover in my opinion, because Takemichi is an underdog through and through, and doesn't gain the most broken ability in his verse to become stronger.
Considering how Tokyo Revengers ends, can you really say that?
About the brokenness of the ability, we saw how abilities can be considered weak or strong depending on the user. Like look at light magic, its op af but in the hands of the current king(Augustus) it's a f'ing joke.

@@tyronsredux Not really. Women being introduced to just fall in love with main character is annoying enough but when a baby is fighting with her jealous older brother who might actually be in love with her over a guy she wants to marry it just becomes a bit ridiculous to me.
