Note! You will not be able to hear what I hear in the room in regards to imaging, soundstage, depth, and all of that good stuff. You will be able to hear the tonality of this setup and even through TH-cam you can hear the character of the sound. The Nagra set is summit-fi and end game, period. The Deville's are stunning and I will soon be getting in the SQ versions for review (upgraded crossover, materials, etc). Anyway, I have been enjoying this Nagra set as it sounds sublime no matter what I play. Soon I will be reviewing a much lower cost (than this Nagra trio) setup from Cary Audio. It is so nice to see a dedicated room. A setup becomes art, furniture, a collection of equipment that is evidence of a long journey of learning, investigation and searching.... almost like getting a Ph.d after years of hard work.

Nagra should be on VFS bases, or similar. Also use their upgraded power supplies - huge improvement! Would never own anything from Weiss at OMA/Fleetwood.
those speakers are not worth $15,000 the monitor audio platinum 200 ll will leave these things in the dust for 3D soundstage depth and imaging, the MPD tweeter is much more open and three-dimensional than this tweeter.
Would you say that your Fleetwoods bring out more of the woody, reed-like qualities in things? I don't know how to describe the sound a reed and stringed instrument makes, but it's like a 'near rasp' tone but never becomes distortion, but you FEEL it as much as hear it. It's like a harmonic or something? I have loved the look of those speakers for years and heard them once and nearly sold every thing I own to get them, but I do NOT have the space for them. Your room, with the snow, and that cabinet, are all perfect.
Are those subs behind the Devilles? Are the Devilles a little lean in the bass? BTW, are you familiar with Convergent Audio Technology amps and preamps?
Caviar taste in equipment, dollar store taste in music...I would love to hear the Deville speakers playing music that is not in the "high class elevator music" category.
