To complete the Band you have to purchase 1 carded Figrin D'an and the Figrin D'an & Modal Nodes boxset. There were 8 members of the band ( 7 on stage / 1 at the bar) and two band members use the small instrument where as the boxset only includes 1.
There is 8 band members; 7 on stage and then 1 who sits next to Muftak. The 2nd kloohorn is for the band member who sits next Muftak. They didn’t make the 7th instrument yet. There is a 7th member but he’s barely on film and there aren’t any photos of him. Unlike the drummer who isn’t visible on film but there are photos. Most people think the Double Docimeir is a very tall cylinder pipe that is scene in the holiday special 5 piece band. Apparently this instrument will come with the Haslab cantina which is the rumor.
The holy grail of that entire video was the Arc Of The Covenant at the end….😬. As for this set, mine arrived last week and is ready to be opened. I hope it’s not as confusing….😁. Good stuff as always!
Amazing figures! Ive watched A New Hope like 800 times and do not recall seeing the instrument with sticks? I believe 2 of the members use the same instrument , the smaller flute looking one is called a fanfar I believe! I do have the POTF one witch came in a mail away white box! Great video :-)
I know in STAR WARS / EPISODE IV - A NEW HOPE the band was featured in a smokey room, mostly from the waist down, but I always thought their outfits were totally black. Were their pants ever confirmed to be gray? (or grey if you're from the UK.) @@Robert_Westwood Don’t get me wrong, I do like the sculpts. Just the fact that they have a hard time standing (even with stands) and their difficulty holding accessories makes them challenging to keep on a display.

The set is great. The only tiny improvement I could see them doing was to make 2 head sculpts without the open mouth, then those two are the guys not playing wind instruments.
I just checked online for the names of the band and what instruments they played....I'm not even going to attempt to memorize them 😳🤣....my phone ringtone is the classic cantina band theme lol.

These new figures are such a vast improvement over the POTF2 figure. The original figure could barely stand and hold its accessories.
