I have my 74 Series SWB seat box to do. Waiting for zinc chromate primer. My box is made from galvanized steel. Guessing isolating the aluminum and steel would be of concern. Love your videos. Easy on the eyes and ears.

I just got my "thin chisel" that I ordered, and thank you very much, Mike. It was sad to see that you sent me a lovely Britannica Restorations sticker, but I was so eager to open the parcel that I used some scissors.... and just guess. I didn't know that in the parcel you had included this badge and the scissors went right through!! Thank you anyway, Mike. It serves me right for being so impatient. Great piece of kit, that splitting chisel!!

How many of us have rotated a part in mid air several times to work out how it fits? Interesting as always Mike.

Didn't know you could get those end panels. My 1972 series 3 will probably need them. They always fail along the bottom by the doors. Thanks Mike.

My brother and I have recently purchased a 1960 109 five door. Seems to be mechanically good as a lot of work has been done on it by previous owner but needs paint and possibly some body work. Would be interested in more videos on body panel repairs/replacement.

Gordon Wedman. Hi Gordon, Mike has published lots on bodywork repair and prep. Take a look through his many videos from about 1 year back. They are there and an excellent resource !

I wish YT had better play lists - they limit you to only 10 so you have to put play lists into play lists = best thing to do is go to my channel home page and when you see the magnifying glass, type in what you are looking for

Would the 3/16 rivet with a grip range 0.126 to 0.250 be okay to use in all areas of a Series LR?
I'm looking at using closed end rivets with an aluminium mandrel. USD 71.44 + freight for a 1000.

The longest used are on the galvanized parts of the rear tub - thinking about it maybe a little longer would be safer
