I also struggled from something called snapping hip syndrome. Over work of the hip and was extremely sore. While i was in india for a camp it became really bad due to the overuse. Ill try those stretches. Keep going 💪

hey iba, sorry for multiple questions - was commenting as I was watching :)
my TT club is good. usually 20+ players per practice. but we only ever do matchplay practice. we want to make it more structured, with proper training drills
could you do a video of the different drills you do, and what they're good for? e.g. "this drill is great for playing against heavy spin loops" or "this drill focuses on third-ball attacks"
think that would be some great content, and appreciated by a lot of viewers
P.S. keep up the vlogs, they're absolutely awesome. I've literally started going to the gym today, for the first time in 10+ years, because your videos have inspired me to take my TT more seriously

Thank you for following me and I’m happy that I inspired you 🙌😮
About your request, I’m really not the right person to do that because I’m not a coach 😅 and I don’t really know how to coach.. you know as players we are sometimes selfish and think a lot about ourselves and know ourselves very well.
And to become a coach that would require a big shift of mindset haha 😅
But I can ask great coach to give some idea and speak on their behalf and propose some drills. That would make more sense. What do you think ? 😁

@@IbaDiaw I think it's almost two separate things
1, yes, if the guy coaches elite table tennis players, that would be awesome
2, it would be great to see the drills you do - and why you do them. What you're currently trying to improve etc
Could be 1 video with both maybe?

Great video mate, you mention holding the stretch for min 90seconds but are you doing that once per area or multiple sets of 90seconds+?

    • @IbaDiaw
      @IbaDiaw  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you !
You can do more sets if you are really stiff. I did 2 set of 90 sec that time 😁

what's that little camera you use for recording your matches? and why do you use that instead of your proper camera?

    • @IbaDiaw

      It’s DJI pocket camera !
It’s just easier to Cary because it’s very small and great quality ! 😁
