Hey Iba it is great to have you back vlogging. In most of your videoes there are glimses of your training sessions, it would be great to see a full training sesseion where you go through which excercises you do and why. You said in an ealier video that the best shot in your arsenal is the forhand flip. I think there are a lot of players out there who struggles with that shot so a tutorial on the forhand flip could also be an idea. Keep your head high and keep looking forward. You are doing great, lots of love from copenhagen
Sorry to hear it didn't work out at your club. Hope you will find a new and better "home"-club soon. Wish you the best for 2024 and thanks for the amazing VLOG! You got this! We believe in you!
20:45 Haha, yes I can absolutely relate to those bed sheet problems. Damn those hotels which tuck em always in. Feet need to be free! 😄 Sorry you lost your match. I saw some parts of it and thought you’d win that 4th set as you had couple set points. Maybe you’re right about Chinese rubbers. If your flick doesn’t land so often it is probably no coincidence. Maybe it’s also their technique so they put a different spin on the ball when playing short. Anyway, I’m glad you made your decision to leave your club. You look a lot happier and free now. I’m curious which club you’ll join next 👀
Iba I've been looking for a new bag and I've already tried different brand. I see you are currently using the andro camouflage bag. Do you like it? Is it a practical bag, any tears, is it durable?
Because with a chinese rubber, the short game is so easy and even with the new hybrid rubbers (the ones that the ball actually sticks onto the rubber when you press on it) also seem to be good at that, so everyone who is playing with these have an advantage out-of-the-box. You should definitley try a chinese or Diginics/ K3
he uses hybrid rubber but chinese rubbers with oil certainly feel differently especially on the level Iba plays, kinda surprising that even Iba who is a WTT player and certainly knows much the guys and their equipments still say he have to learn about this and try out the rubber and practice with it to have his conclusions.
@@davivermelho6652 do you even know what hybrid means ? It means it does mimic both characteristics of European and Chinese rubbers. It is not because you have a different top sheet and harder sponge now you have a hybrid rubbers ! It took Butterfly and Tibhar years of research to come with something, other companies don't have any other way but say hey we have hybrid too even if they don't. And I'm not surprised Iba doesn't know because he is sponsored, he doesn't have the luxury to experiment all the time. Watch Ovtcharov talking about this
@@davivermelho6652What I meant is that I don’t practice AGAINST hurricane and I believe that even when I serve top spin and someone receive high even with the hurricane it’s different. So my conclusion is that when I make multiball the coach must make it with the hurricane. Not that I have to play with it. I’m fine with my equipment
All the best to you Iba, congratulation from Tata Néné Aulnay-sous-bois Paris, 😂I eat some oysters and sea food and also some nice icecream buche for Chrismas, félicitation mon neveu❤❤❤
Thanks for the vid ! Hearing the ending I was wondering why are you still fixated and heavily using forehand flick so much as it seems not a very popular thing amonst most top players?
Hey Iba happy new year glad to have you back. I have a question. When doing practice drills, how hard should you play your shots. Like should you go full power on your shots or try to play at around 70% of you max speed when playing topspins?
Happy new years to you too ! So when I practice I TRY and it’s not always that easy to change pace all the time ! When it’s easy I go 100% when it’s hard I go 50% when I’m far I’m play higher etc.. I advise you to do that ! You’ll be able to select the ball better and decrease the amount of mistake ! That’s what separates us from the TOP players

So it’s because my adductors were very tight and was pulling me knee.. I had pain but in the inner.. on the other hand and the wttc in Durban it was the opposite 😁

He's using C53, Andro's hybrid.

Will you be able to find another club for the remainder of the season or find one for next season?
I’m focusing on Olympics right now 😁

Would love to 😁
Thanks for the vid !

Because ball is coming short high to my FH and that separate me to other players.
But during but during the match I was flicking with BH as well
Great video Iba! I have a question! Who is your favorite player you've ever practiced with?
Timo Boll 😱

Patron 😎 we played in the same club before 😁
Hii iba quick question, why did you work on the adductors to relax them instead of the abductors ? I just want to know the reason
So it’s because my adductors were very tight and was pulling me knee.. I had pain but in the inner..
on the other hand and the wttc in Durban it was the opposite 😁
