Golden Earring is a Dutch Rockband , with Barry Hay (leadsinger,guitarist) , founder Rinus Gerritsen (Bass) Cesar Zuiderwijk (Drums) and founder George Kooymans (singer, guitarist) , please discover more because they have a treasure chest full of albums/songs. They had to stop in 2020 due the ilnis of George Kooymans who have diagnosed with ALS

So happy you found this. I’m a Dutch guitarist, and this song is most definitely a must when starting out any highschool rockband over here. Played this so many times. And great as the band has been in the official clips everyone’s reacting to (they sadly called it quits last year, still in the original lineup, but the guitarist was diagnosed with a progressive illness), they have been an even more incredible live band.

Due to have the background that you have and not know anything about golden earring is unbelievable. Canadian? Tom Cochran ? Try Barry Hay, Cesar Zudgwick, Renas Garritson and George Kooymans... From Holland!!! If you knew anything about them, they're definitely not just all about radar. Love they have a history of some of the greatest music that was ever made from one album to the next. Try listening to 1976 to the hilt.... Or switch.. prisoner of the night... Cut... The hole... N. E. W. S!!! JUST TO NAME A FEW... Obviously they're one of the greatest rock and roll bands that you've never listened to. And that's not saying anything detrimental to your character. But brother you've missed out... I've been a music collector all of my life, including being in a band for a few years and this band never got the notoriety in this country that they should have but by God they did elsewhere! Check out the live going to the run video and the Sea of people in harmony and in tune with this band. It's amazing!

A floor filler even 50 years later. A real shame the Golden Earring had to stop this year becuase one of the bandmembers got hit by ALS disease.
