Can't recommend this show enough, seriously. What a mystery, but the characters are so well written and played with such a level of nuance. It's like a rare gift of a show that you get every once in a decade. I hope they can keep the quality up through the coming seasons because I know a lot of shows struggle with that. But Ben Stiller has invested himself in it greatly - directing 7 of the 9 episodes himself! Also, I'm a massive tennis nerd and that moment was truly hilariously confusing in the moment lol.. Kyrgios v Nadal - Ben's a HUMONGOUS Nadal fan. Him and his wife were there for pretty much all 2 weeks. They love their tennis.

Surely most kids would find Ben Stiller for taking the lead on Madagascar 4, but it seems uncertain right now upon the effects from COVID, of course..... And he's known (even from Indonesia at the Southeast Asian region as well!) for playing as Alex the Lion, Larry Daley from the museum, and many more movies linked with jokes and thrills.....😁
Ben is the only actor ik, who looks better older than he was younger. Like u talking about aging gracefully. This dude transformation is better than brad Pitt
My wife used to work for AT&T. She said there are a lot of similarities in the cult-like religious atmosphere, including Mr. Graner security dudes with earpieces who skulk around the hallways for unknown reasons. They also had their own acronym lingo where everyone knew what the words meant but had no idea what they stood for. My guess is the writer used to work for AT&T lol.
And not just with Lumon; the main character’s brother-in-law Rickon is pretty similar to Scientology’s founder considering he has those bizarre reading parties for his self-help book. And the “innies” literally view him as a messianic figure because of that book lol
I love how enthusiastic Trevor is. It’s obvious that he has truly been under the spell of the series and has so many things to communicate to Ben Stiller. And I love how cool Ben is: Trevor doesn’t let him speak but it’s OK for Ben because he sees genuine excitement and goodwill on Trevor’s part. It’s almost like a big size mama dog patiently watching and educating a curious kitten (yes kitten, not puppy. Maybe I should watch less Dodo stories ;))
thanks now I know I don't want to see it. cable guy was cool but 8 was a young kid at the time. I can still remember it clearly enough to know I really don't want to watch it again. funny and creepy didn't mix well with me.
