I literally was so disappointed when I saw Chrissy Teigan and John Legend as the ICON Box curators 🙄 I’m wondering how I can skip the Icon Box - I’ve been trying to skip for months and the option isn’t there.
I’m wondering the same!! I have no clue why they are curating an IconBox 😅 i know he has a skincare brand but still 🙃
They’re so annoying !!! lol
Just cancel, and they'll give you the option of skipping the wait to sign back up.

Sher! I just got my allure box for July and I love love love the Malin +Goetz Dark Rum perfume oil. Let it set for a few minutes. It smells so good!
Yayyyy!! I saw your comment right before I unboxed mine today! I made sure to let it dry down to give my full thoughts. I like it!! It actually wasn’t what I was expecting from the notes. I was worried but it ended up being great!! 👏 I’ll get my unboxing up soon! :)

The items for the bag and Boxycharm are very interesting and I would like to try them all out. As far as the Icon box goes I will be respectful to You since I DESPISE Ms. Teigen. Why couldn’t they have found a better brand to offer us when there are so many to chose from?! Unless I see some exceptional products offered I will probably skip the icon box and just buy some pallets I have been wanting. You are such a Lovely Kind soul. I can’t be that kind to that woman.❤️❤️❤️
You are definitely not alone! I noticed sooo many unhappy comments on Ipsy’s page. I know I said I wouldn’t share my opinion, but when I started doing a deep dive on her history… wow! 🤯😳
But anyways, I think we do have some great items so far in the other boxes. 😂 Appreciate the sweet words! 🤗
I feel the same as you. I have to figure out how to skip this box. I wish they had an option that allowed you to skip icon and just get the regular boxy…
honestly, why the fork did they choose such a terrible pair for their branding? if this glam box sucks, I'm cancelling.

I’m guessing they included Chrissy so that she can give her fav picks on makeup/hair. I think a just John skincare box would be pretty boring. I’d love to see some Asian/pacific island brands. More k beauty picks please

I love John Legend definitely did not know he had a skin care line. And I sing the song all of me loves all of you to my children and it melts my heart each time and I love his wife she is absolutely gorgeous.
That song is my all time favorite for sure! It brings me to tears at times. 🥰
Not excited about any of the Boxy choices. Just like the last few months, it’s nothing exciting . So glad I unsubbed from the Icon box , and am ready to get rid of beauty boost as well. This month was so disappointing! Nothing I actually wanted, so I picked another eye cream. Ughhh! In fact I am ready to stop the whole mess of a box completely!
The glam bag options are actually so good this time around! I was considering canceling it because I’ve been disappointed with the products but I’m happy to see good products showing up

I hope they include a tinted sunscreen since they’re both of darker complexions. I’m almost out of my Elta MD from my Allure from February.
Personally I could not care less about celebrities and what they do online, I’m not on social media and I don’t follow that kind of thing. What I DO appreciate is that they’re featuring people of color and hopefully are curating for that. To be transparent I’m Caucasian but I feel that everyone deserves representation and Ipsy is *hopefully* providing that

I cancelled my Glam Bag, Boxy, and Icon all in the same week. After seeing what Ipsy chose for me for July, I had no choice. After the curators were revealed, I was left with no choice. Ipsy needs to do better in the lead up to Icon if they don’t want people to cancel.
This is the month I cancel all things Ipsy 😢Was holding out for a HERO in the ICON box.. bummer!

Thanks Hun 🥰❤️👍 I did see a review of Johns products, Loved 001 & it was from a dermatologist who is a woman of color.herself. She was not impressed, went thru all the ingredients & said they were low quality, pore clogging for acne prone skin & had no anti aging benefits. She was very kind about it but the price matches the cheap ingredients. This is just what she said - I've personally never tried any of them so I can't speak to it. Luv you and have a blessed day 🤗🙏

August is HOT pretty much everywhere I have lived (MN, WY, SD, TX). Summer for sure. 😅. Thank you for doing this video. ❤. I am excited about some of these spoilers. I don’t get the Icon box and the announcement of the curators doesn’t really influence me to get it.

I skipped last time I think I may again. Just wanted to try some other boxes. Honestly I have tons of everything and it won't hurt to skip again.

The products in July box, look mostly like larger samples for the most part..I've been with Allure for a very long time& I love it..but products* are smaller for sure..❤
Oh for Allure? I just got my box today and wow yes everything is smaller. But I’ll talk about that in my unboxing when I get it uploaded:)
When they had Vanessa Hudgens as the curator there was only one product from her Know brand, the mask. All her curated products were products she used in her skin care and her make up routines. She has expensive taste and it was a great box. Maybe that is why she is with him, because of her routine? Makes no sense to me why? I keep hoping for Rihanna or Selena as a curator! Thanks for the up date!🖒😁😄💙
We had Riri when boxycharm was boxyluxe and they did the first takeover. The Fenty box was awesome!! So was the Anastasia box. Back in the good ol days. 😢
Yea that’s true. I don’t think I got anything from the Know brand, now that I think about it. 🤔 I forgot about that one. But omg i think everyone has been dying to see Rare Beauty or Fenty! That would be amazing!!
Thats how I feel about Ofra.. we ONLY get face palettes or palettes. I have endless $150 and I would rather an eyeliner or mascara that I would use. I love Il Makiage 😊 I do not like getting sunscreen unless it's in May Or june all s p f seems to have an expiration date and every single one of mine always gets expired.
Yea I feel like the sunscreen was late timing. We need it beginning of summer. Oh and a heads up… part 2 spoilers are up now and there’s another ofra face palette… 😂😂😂
Loved 01 is pronounced as 'Loved one' if I remember it correctly. They are available at Walmart.

I agree they should have just used John Legend, since it’s his skin care line - and people are still are so focused on Chrissy’s tweets from 2011. She really beat herself up over that stuff and apologized. A lot of people also skipped Anastasia and Patrick Starr for their opinions. You can’t please everyone. I’m looking forward to the spoilers. I don't have anything against her, and I hope that including her means she will bring in some of her own makeup and skincare faves. I dont know much about his brand but I'd be disappointed if we get cheaper products due to his brand being highlighted.
Yea, it is true that our icon box should include “iconic” products worth a lot. I’m waiting for them to share the product spoilers. They are running behind today. I’m curious what they will be.

From what I have seen of the icon box, you usually only get one of their products and the rest is recycled junk they couldn’t sell in their add on sales. 🤦🏻♀️
Yea I was not thrilled with my icon box last time. I am waiting for them to drop the product spoilers to see if it’ll be any better. They were supposed to yesterday & now they’re behind. 🤷🏻♀️

Very disappointed with this upcoming icon box . Chrissy Teigan and John Legend as curators does not impress at all. Not very good representation of the icon box. Just my opinion.
