The TirTir portion of this video has been the most helpful to me out of all your other videos on your channel. Using the two different brushes is a game changer for me. I tried it with the TirTir and it is the happiest I have ever been with foundation and my dry mature skin.

Oh my gosh 51 year old, hormonal, dry skin woman here, new to your channel. Nikki! first of all you are such a blessing and I appreciate your content SO much. a little obsessed. Also, I live in a bit of a rural area, so I can’t just run to our local sephora or nordstrom and get color matched or exchange these high end products. I have been completely influenced lately by all the foundations and concealers on the market! 😩 I now have a drawer full of the most recent launches and feeling like a total sucker for buying so many products online with high expectations and aren’t quite right shade or formula for my skin, like the Vieve foundation, Charlotte Tillbury stick, and WA concealers. This video (along with your others) has made me see how I can use what I have without feeling terrible about my decisions! 😂❤❤ Thank you SO much. And even though I said I’d never buy another brush again, I purchased two of your brushes (N12 and N11) … not mad about it either. 🥴😆 Thank you for being so relatable and for all your hard work!
You work so hard on these videos and are super informative. I’m 76 and finally know how to apply my makeup because of you. I purchased several of your brushes and I LOVE them. Thanks for all that you do. What time do you video on Sundays? I would love to join in.
Thank you for this video Nikki! Im 55 yo with tan , combo /oily skin with texture. I prefer a formula that is thin but well pigmented (medium coverage at most) and dries to satin finish . I prefer no alcohol if im going to use daily.
I got about 10 minutes into this video and decided I wanted to browse Ulta. Got me some Fenty foundation….so pretty on my 50 year old skin. The texture is dreamy.
Thanks Nikki, I feel vindicated of my review of the Fenty foundation… people didn’t like that i said it wasn’t long lasting and that you must powder heavily if you have an oily t-zone. Thanks I feel better now lol!
Am so happy that you tried the Tirtir cushion foundation. The tips you gave worked so well. Last time, a few months back, I was so unhappy with the result, the wrong shade as well as cakey on application with the applicator. I hated the look and so I dumped it in the bin. This time after watching you, and doing a careful search on the shade match for my wheatish dusky dry skin tone, I ordered two shades from Amazon, the mini version ( bought Natural beige as a concealer and Macchiato as foundation), it worked like magic. So happy with the result. So a bigggggggh hug to you and thank you🎉
THANK YOU, Nikki - for your thorough review of the Charlotte Tilbury "foundation stick". I now know that it is not a "true" foundation stick but more like a solid form of the Flawless Filter. In addition, you showed us how we could use it if we wanted to. BRILLIANT!! You're the best!
Aloha Nikki! I’m so glad you tested Tir Tir. Your analysis is so much more trustworthy than many other “so-called” influencers. Based on your analysis, I ordered it. It will arrive today! Thank you so much!
Your skin is beautiful even without makeup. The CT stick alone on your skin looks beautiful. Guess I’m saying I wish I had your flawless complexion. ❤️
So very helpful, Nikki. I actually own all the foundations you mentioned except the Charlotte Tilbury & totally agree with your assessments! I also own both the brushes you mentioned that are good for the TirTir foundation! Thanks for always keeping it real. Love the eyeshadow too, btw 💙🩵
You are amazing Nikki, how you take the time and effort to go through so many products is mind blowing, I actually stop after everyone of these products while your talking and write down all the info...lol .I then go to sephora to get samples of the ones I want....thanks again for making it easier for us ..🤗💕
I think it is important to mention that TirTir has fragrance in it. I had a very hard time with it because of the fragrance. Glad I purchased the smaller size. I would love for you to do an entire video on fragrance free skincare and makeup. It is desperately needed for those of us who have reactions to fragrance. Will never understand why companies use it. It is not good for us.
I loveeeee the Fenty foundation and the color! I usually have to mix but I love this one. I use it with my kosas powder or charlotte press powder. Obsessed!!
Millani, Elf setting sprays, foundation and anti creasing eye makeup works good for me for few hours. If I want something for a day (10 plus hours) then I use Charlotte T, Estée Lauder or Lancôme. I have few samples of other products I have gotten from friends or when I purchased makeup, but I prefer not having too much of choices for myself, because I don’t use more than natural makeup no makeup, sometimes I do use more chic elegant makeup, and rarely sophisticated makeup. As far as mascara, L’Oréal is great for me, sometimes I get gifts of other brands, but, I prefer minimalist makeup products because I am in favor of natural, classic, quality over quantity, in general, either makeup or else. Thank you 🙏 so much for your tutorials , suggestions and your presence! ❤💐
Thanks for the in-depth reviews! And user tips for these foundations. Just took the jump and ordered the TirTir foundation. It looks so flawless and pretty on you. Will be coming back and referring to this video. 😊
Thanks Nikki! Regarding the elf, I am 63 years old with very dry skin. I’ve tried applying this foundation twice now and just can’t get it to work. It sits on my skin. But, since you’ve mentioned using a primer maybe I will try that and give it a shot one more time. Thank you
your face is so smooth that it really is difficult to observe any difference in the way make up products lay... everythings always turns out gorgeous. I'm just 31 but unfortunately already have visible fine lines and some uneven transitions (i.e. undereyes and rest of face, between brows)... a lot of make up tends to emphasise that. I feel a bit too young for this and it can feel a bit isolating seeing all the baby smooth faces on screen all the time. I still enjoy your videos and you look amazing as always.
Thank you Nikki for all the great recommendations, tips, and tricks! I would love to see your recommendations for full glam evening look with products that look fabulous with photography. I have a 40th class reunion and a wedding coming up soon. I will be the mother of the bride. There will be lots of pictures of course and i want to look my best. Almost 58 years old with dry skin, but am consistent with skincare. I just recently bought your N16 and N17 and cant wait to use them!😊
I just bought the new Fenty because the tirtir is too drying on my skin. I'm looking forward to testing it with different sunscreens so i can see what it plays well with before i take it on vacation.
So crazy how Asian beauty is getting the recognition it deserves! You need to try the JSM cushion! It’s my all time favorite cushion foundation and was created by a famous makeup artist there (named after her). I would love to hear your thoughts
Thanks for this video! I tried so hard to make tir tir work, but no other video really gave me any good help. I'm going to try it again with the brush. Thank you!
Hello from Wodonga Australia. Nikki l love how you share your wealth of knowledge and absolutely amazing skills when it comes to makeup with us. You are the best so thank you. xx
Hi Nikki, I watched your video a few days ago and the decided to try the Tir Tir cushion foundation. I read that many people said it oxidized so I ordered a shade lighter (15C). I applied exactly as you showed with the same brush and it came out lovely. It did look to light at first but it did oxidize one shade and ended up being a perfect match. I needed to use very little of the foundation as it is gives coverage quickly. Thanks for the advice as usual!
Your knowledge and expertise is obviously great and it shows in every single one of your videos. Your make up content is always so educational and so helpful and your products recommendations always prove to be so spot on therefore a great buy. Thank you !
I really appreciate your comments about the CT stick because I was thinking that I was missing out but I definitely don’t want something as glowy as their flawless filter - which I have but have never been able to use very satisfactorily. I also wanted to say that I actually bought the Naked Sunday SPF that you endorsed on a whim on day and although my oily combo skin loved this gel texture, it really hasn’t played well with a lot of my other makeup-I have found it pills and rolls off a lot of the time, and is better left for makeup free days (which are rare for me lol).
I'm using the black Tirtir cushion foundation. I started with minis of the red and black, and I preferred the light to medium coverage. I use it the the Heimish Artless Glow primer. I may use the red in cooler weather.
I have super dry skin and I wear the CT foundation stick over my tinted sunscreen and my skin looks beautiful. It is the perfect combo for me! Because my skin is so dry, it doesn't matter how luminous a foundation is, by the end of the day my skin just looks dry, but not the new CT! I love it and have now found my new holy grail make up cocktail!
I am in love with it, my Nars Light Reflecting is gorgeous too and i don't use it as often now. Fenty has coverage, absolutely gorgeous finish, just looks like beautiful skin, it works on my dry dry skin and even stayed on during over 32 celsius heatwave. I hope they never discontinue it ❤
Echoing - what a great tutorial - it is one thing to say a product is good or not so much - quite another to explore and share techniques for successful wear. The thoughts on the Charlotte Tilbury foundation stick are very insightful as well as application for the Tir Tir foundation -Thank you, Nikki-as usual knocked it out of the park!
I finally cracked and bought the mini TirTir and the first time I used I was like WTF!!! However, after wearing a few times I absolutely freaking love it!!! I have the shade 23 sand, but it's super light on me, I'm a little tanner than Nikki in the face. I make it work but would love to buy a different shade now that I know it's a good foundation!!!
TirTir red cushion foundation: If the cushion applicator applies too much make up on your face... It's been tapped into the foundation well too hard, thereby putting too much foundation on the pad. To get into the 'nooks & crannies' one bends the pad around the finger. Okay Nikki you convinced me, I'm getting the Tirtir cushion! Now the big question is which shade... Cushion foundations have come a long way. I remember when there used to only have 2 shades!
I bought the fenty foundation and at first I loved it. However in store the shade 300 looked like my match, when I wore it, it was like 2 shades darker than my complexion. So, I went back to Sephore to swatch some more and realized that shade 290 would be a shade lighter, so there is no shade close to my complexion unless I mix 300 and 290. I opted to give my mom the foundation. In the end, it wore all day on my combo skin and felt luxurious. I would definitely recommend
Thank you, Nikki!! Stunning as Always. It seems like the TirTir is going to be a best of year if not a HG for a while. The Fenty seems beautiful, do you think it will just be for a great Summer foundation or one of the best of the year?.. Love ya guys!! Hi to Mitch!! Hope you’re enjoying the summer!!
Hi Nikki...I am so glad I found you!!! Question....Can you tell me what shade you used on your Tirtir foundation???? I am probably not your usual demographic follower...I am 63, but I truly enjoy your videos and tutorials. I love the videos where you buy all one category of a product and compare each one for us. I value your expertise! It has helped me sooooo much with buying cosmetics ... and skin care. I truly appreciate your advice and and grateful that you take the time to explain and show us each product. You are a very kind and compassionate person....and I am grateful that you care so much for your followers to help us like you do. You rock Nikki La Rose!!! ❤🙏✌💐
Omg Nikki. You give the best info. I think you saved me 46 bucks on the Charlotte Tilbury stick. 😂 I haven't had luck with Elf foundations. I do like the tir tir. I do have to use it with a brush or beauty blender. I cannot use that sponge that it comes with. I put way too much on with it. But It holds up so well. I have 4 foundations in my makeup bag and the tir tir is the one that I've been reaching for all summer.
I have all of the above bar the CT stick as that doesn't appeal to me. Love the Fenty and Elf one...but like yourself, I have been blown away by the Tirtir one! In fact I now have the full size of my allover shade and 3 minis of one lighter and two darker shades to brighten and contour and bronze. It's genius and perfect for travel! x
I just tried the new Fenty foundation and I love it. I’m a dry skin girly. I’m an olive undertone too. I’ve had an issue with finding a foundation, drugstore and high end. Fenty nailed my skin tone and undertone in their 225 neutral Olive shade. Im going to try the OG formula too. I’m so happy I get to wear foundation again. I was getting frustrated that all foundations would look pink or orange in natural light, or be the wrong shade.
Nikki, your skin is gorgeous. I love watching your content. I'm an oily/combination 58 year old that still breaks out. It would be great if you could please do makeup on a model that has skin like mine I'd love it or eye makeup to for green eyes on my age group. Thank you, beautiful ❤

@@karlaharvey2623 Have you noticed it's better once it's older and not so wet? It's not as messy and I do like the amount of fibers in it and the brush, better than more expensive ones. It actually gives me 10 hairs instead of 5. The eyebrow serums just make my 5 hairs longer lol
I have very oily skin and need a primer and setting spray for oily skin. Which do you recommend.
@@ana-juliacintron1927 I very rarely use a primer. I have dry, dehydrated skin and more mature skin. I’m sorry but I have no idea which primers work best for oily skin.
This was some incredibly high quality content! Thank you so much, Nikki!!
for under the eyes too, the tirtir puff is better than brush cz it fits that place perfectly rather than the brush
I loooooove the way the Charlotte Tilbury stick looks with concealer on you!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for the tips on how to apply the TirTir. I just got the N15 and can't wait to use the two together!!!
I got about 10 minutes into this video and decided I wanted to browse Ulta. Got me some Fenty foundation….so pretty on my 50 year old skin. The texture is dreamy.
@@julesbee6249 oh I’m so happy to hear that!!
As an olive skinned and combination skinned person, the nee Fenty is the best foundation I have ever tried. The color the formula splendid
Really appreciate the detailed brush options for the titir foundation. Thanks Nikki❤
Thanks Nikki, I feel vindicated of my review of the Fenty foundation… people didn’t like that i said it wasn’t long lasting and that you must powder heavily if you have an oily t-zone. Thanks I feel better now lol!
You are the best beauty TH-camr out there, genuinely. Fully expect to see you blow up to a million subscribers soon.
So a bigggggggh hug to you and thank you🎉
Thank you for the guidance on applying these foundations. I really want the Fenty soft lit foundation now!!
The foundation queen 👸 🤩❤️
Love you Penn!!!!! ❤❤❤
Your skin is beautiful even without makeup. The CT stick alone on your skin looks beautiful. Guess I’m saying I wish I had your flawless complexion. ❤️
That eye shadow is amazing!
Great info, Nikki! I love that 106 BK Beauty brush. I use that with my beloved Hourglass Ambient soft glow foundation. Fabulous!
your makeup slays every single time!! ive been watching your videos all weekend long!!
Hi Desi! Always excited to see your new video. Love all of your recommendations ❤
You are amazing Nikki, how you take the time and effort to go through so many products is mind blowing, I actually stop after everyone of these products while your talking and write down all the info...lol .I then go to sephora to get samples of the ones I want....thanks again for making it easier for us ..🤗💕
Thank you Nikki!! I was wanting to know about all of these products!! It’s like you read my mind😂 Thank you for all the great tips!!!❤
Nikki, you are just my favorite person on TH-cam!🥰
Ahhhh you are so kind, thank you!!!
Thank you for your time and effort to educate us with this video!
I’m obsessed with the tirtir love the brush tips.
Obsessed!!
Thank you for the thorough review! I had to chuckle at the thought of pairing an elf foundation with a Givenchy powder, though 😂
please do a video on your most recommended skin tints!! xxx
Okay, you've convinced me to get the Fenty. Thank you for this thorough video!
Thank you
I’m enjoying the CT stick foundation. I’ve been under painting my cheeks and applying the CT over it for a lit from within look.
your face is so smooth that it really is difficult to observe any difference in the way make up products lay... everythings always turns out gorgeous.
This maybe the best video ever to help all the viewers. Thank you
These kind of reviews are wonderful. Thank you!
So crazy how Asian beauty is getting the recognition it deserves! You need to try the JSM cushion! It’s my all time favorite cushion foundation and was created by a famous makeup artist there (named after her). I would love to hear your thoughts
The NYX blur foundation is wonderful
This was a Master Class! Nikki, you are amazing! Thank you sooooo much! Love all your videos!!! We learn so much every time! 😊
You are the best so thank you. xx
Hello from Houston, Texas. 😊
Thank you !
I just tried TirTir with a brush and what a game changer. Thanks for a great tip Nikki! ❤
Thank you for the detailed explanation on the various application techniques, so very helpful. Great video!!!
@@kbaut2579 which tinted sunscreen do you use
the new fenty foundation is THAT GIRL. I'm almost 40 and it looks absolutely amazing on my skin, very natural and flattering!
Your eyeshadow is elegant. I always enjoy your videos. Thanks for your thorough research and depth of knowledge. ❤
Exactly! Gray and less gray! Lol
I love the tir tir, i use a damp beauty blender and its amazing❤
Oh! I'm gonna take your advice with the brushes for the tir tir foundation!
Thank you so much for the how-to on the application of Tir-Tir. I love it, but will now try again with a brush. You’re the best!❤
It has helped me sooooo
much with buying cosmetics ... and skin care. I truly appreciate your advice and and grateful that you take the time to explain and show us each product. You are a very kind and compassionate person....and I am grateful that you care so much for your followers to help us like you do. You rock Nikki La Rose!!! ❤🙏✌💐
Happy weekend to you Nikki! 🤍
Thank you, Nikki for your professional view on the products. TirTir is so nice,
looking forward to see how CT works on my skin. Appreciate your tips!
I will try it with the brush it’s a great idea because it keeps less bacteria out of the compact. Thanks for the tips
Hi.... Lovely video, thank you!! ❤
Could you please consider doing a pressed foundation powder and foundation sticks video. I live in a mostly hot sometimes occasionally humid climate area (Nigeria, West Africa). This will be a great help. Thank you in advance 😊
Thank you so much! I just got the tir tir and I needed that advice to use a brush not the pad. Thank you.
