I saw Skid Row in Minneapolis in 1989. They opened for Bon Josie. My girlfriend and her friends were into Bon Jovi, I was ready to leave after Skid Row’s set was finished-LOL. I feel fortunate to have seen Skid Row at their peak😊.
Did same in Chicago had a buddy who kept her friends entertained so i could enjoy the show with her. I camped out for 3 days to get great seat's. Bon was actually good live. Understanding i was a metal head. However i loved her and would walk on glass for her. Lol 😂

I have been saying the same thing since that tour. I wasn’t really a skid row fan before that night. I saw them as just another hair band but they blew me away and blew G&R off the stage so much so we left before guns was done to beat traffic. I never leave early to beat traffic. Lol

Baz has been my favorite male vocalist since Skid Row came out. His power, control and range are 2nd to none and have stayed that way since. Seen him in 04 and 10 both with GNR and he sounded like this. Baz is what every lead vocalist should shoot for.. Best in my opinion.
Say what you like about his character but there's no denying the voice and natural rockstar ability he possessed as a young man. I slept in the train station after seeing them as a 16 yr old and many others and so glad I did because I have great memories of that period, late 80's and early 90's. It still amazes me how many bands had so much talent, playing ability, song writing, and looking great as well! You needed the full package back then. I loved everything from GN'R and the Black Crowes to Jane's Addiction and the Nymphs.

I wish there was better audio of this performance. This was an extremely hard song to perform live for him (and anyone for that matter) and this was one of his better performances.
I was at this show, took a good friend of mine, Chris Williams (RIP), who was one of the best drummers I ever heard. I loved Pantera, but Skid Row was one of my favorite bands, where Pantera was Chris' favorite. What an incredible night we had!
