It's not an official lego set but I thought it was worth mentioning the lego FFVII set that Square Enix gave did a giveaway for which had a lego Cloud in it
I can't wait for this list to be updated once we finally get the "Otacon pissing his pants" set and the "Mythra sleeping in the wrong room" set, we're gonna get so many good figures
I genuinely can see a Lego Street Fighter Set, but specifically given the Pac-Man Treatment with it being the classic arcade machine with a screen featuring Ryu & Ken in a 16-bit style
The captains would be mini figures, the pikmin could be the "baby" mini figures, (like grogu from star wars) and the enemies would be brick built figures.
I would LOVE to see Lego Kingdom Hearts! It's no secret that Lego has a great partnership with Disney, but I think Final Fantasy would probably happen first should Square Enix be involved with Lego. I would also love to see Castlevania and Persona 5 get the Lego treatment, but they would have to reeeeeeally tone it down as some Shadows/Personas are not very kid friendly, and I don't think Kamoshida's Palace even has a chance of getting a set or two.
I think the characters I think will have a great chance of getting a mini figure is Kirby, Samus, Any of the Fire Emblem characters (I think it would be cool to have a recreated lego version of any of the maps or a castle, but I assume they would go with Marth first), R.O.B (but as a big build able set that can go alongside the NES set), of course Wario, Dr. Mario, Daisy, & Rosalina, Mega Man, Olimar & Alph, & Villager. I feel like these characters have the most potential to get a lego set (within the next decade) as they are mainly popular franchises. As for Fire Emblem, I think it could work really well especially since LEGO has had sets with swords before so I think it’ll be fine. Lastly I really hope the R.O.B set happens, I think it would be really cool if lego made the NES set into a series with a build able R.O.B & maybe a Build able NES Zapper (and maybe have it come with a cartridge of Duck Hunt) & have other sets just be build able cartridges so that one can simulate having a game collection.
Something I’d like to see is a Mii fighter blind bag. Except it just comes with random pieces instead of a mini fig, keeping the creativity alive in LEGO form.
Realistically Kirby is the perfect set for the target audience of LEGO. Would be shocked if it didn't get at least one considering how popular of a character Kirby is

You'll have to forgive my self-promotion, but as someone obsessed with this very concept, I've actually been making a number of Lego Smash Bros sets on my channel with instructions for others to build as well. I think Splatoon would be one of the most logical choices for a line with annual releases. Kid friendly, lots of noteworthy characters and locations, and they could do some sort of turf war gimmick. But I don’t know how well it would sell for kids. Obviously older fans would buy it
Surprised that Disney didn’t have LEGO make sets based on Kingdom Hearts. I mean we have Star Wars, Marvel, Disney Princesses, Pixar, and even the Simpsons as LEGO sets.
8:19 "Those games are not too violent for Lego's guidelines" So we're just gonna pretend that we didn't sit and watch Crocomire's flesh and organs melt away before springing up for a last ditch attack before his death? As dope as Lego Metroid would be, saying it's "not too violent" is debatable lol
The Metroid games are not rated M, so they fit into LEGO's guidelines. They'll make gory stuff into sets (Jaws, Stranger Things, Multiverse of Madness) as long as it is not R-rated or the equivalent rating.
Honestly…. a Lego deal with Square enix for a Lego kingdom hearts or a Lego final fantasy 18+ set makes sense to me. A square IP would fit as a 1 time model that represents a franchise, similar to what Lego did with Horizon zero dawn. As for kids sets: i think Wario will get a Mario land 2 inspired play set in the Mario line and I think Daisy might be a new playable character since they can just tweak the existing peach electronic, I also think the next Nintendo IP to be adapted to Lego will probably be Kirby, I can see Kirby and his various enemies getting small sets like what animal crossing is doing. And My wildcard pick goes towards a Lego ROB to join the Lego NES.
@@kaiZXful I couldn’t agree more. He would be a very natural buildable figure. Sadly, I’m not sure if he’s popular enough to get a set. Maybe someone could submit it to ideas?
I think any character from an existing Nintendo theme that hasn't yet been made is a lock except for perhaps Sheik from Legend of Zelda. I also think Kirby will almost certainly get a lego theme at some point, as will Metroid. I think Star Fox and Pikmin could receive one time sets rather than entire themes, and the same with Mega Man since there was pkans to have a Lego Dimensions pack with him. Pokemon also seems quite likely once Mega contrucx contract expires, but I wonder how hard they'll fight for that, since Pokemon does not seem like the type of licence you'd give up without a fight. Splatoon is another likely contender for an entire lego theme. From there, I think any character from an "anime" esque theme is unlikely to receive a figure at this point in time. Lego hasn't really done anything with anime since Exo Force in the late 2000s, and I would personally think they'd try something huge like Dragon Ball or One Piece before Xenoblade, Fire Emblem, or even Street Fighter. Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts could have a chance but it seems unlikely. From there, there's some characters like the mii fighters, Wii Fit Trainer, Mr. Game and Watch, and R.O.B. that sem unlikely outside of a dedicated Smash Bros set. And then there's the ones we'll never get. Obviously Solid Snake, Bayonetta, and Joker from Persona due to their games having the M rating in the US as well as equivalent ratings elsewhere, Banjo-Kazooie, Kid Icarus, and Captain Falcon haven't had games in their respective franchises from decades, and Nintendo's refusal to localise Mother 3 basically confirms that we won't get merchanise based off of the property. But that's my two cents. I most want a lego Kirby, I love that little guy.
