If you have any instrument where you need a very specific torque to set the same tension, you might want to check out certain screwdrivers used in IT-Repairs from Wera. I guess you just have the feel for it after doing it so often, but maybe there is an application for it. They're like tiny torque wrenches the size of a micro-screwdriver.
