Firefights in Star Wars can kind of be goofy with just two sides standing wide open shooting at each other So it was really cool to see Mando be super tactical and surgically take out the pirates
Yeah that’s one thing I like about these new Star Wars shows is the fighting can be really good. Just the writing and script for episodes can suck a lot. All depending and who is directing what show I guess.
These mandos on the show were terrible. Originally, mandos are 5 times better military trained than the average stormtroopers. Oh right, that's from the Ol'EU. Oh well 🤷♂️.
@beskarman38 probably the best way then to make mandos a force to be reckon with is irl special forces members like Navy seals to play as them? Or rangers or SAS. They made the game republic commando based off swat teams I think.
Current Mandos: we took this town with an entire story arc. Mandos in their prime: we took the planet during the titlecard sequence and had enough time leftover to plan for the actual episode.
To be fair, aside from the power scaling being a little funky, A is the story. B is the setting for the story. B sets them up as a more powerful force. A the story was more focused on the characters. both can work, both have their downsides.
Considering these Mandalorians are a pale shadow of what they were like thousands of years ago, you can begin to understand how big a threat they were back in the KOTOR days.
The Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders led by Mandalore The Ultimate was on a completely different level. Just pure savagery at its finest 😂. Can't forget my boi Canderous as well , KOTOR was the good ol days fr 🔥💯
Let’s be real Mando had those pirate fighters outclassed so bad with that supped up nabooine interceptor. To think he ever saw the thing as a hunk of junk.

So fun fact for all the new or not so deep into the lore fans, Mandalorians are the Spartans of the Star Wars universe. They have in more than one war and time period been at war with the Jedi order and proved to be nearly as good as Sith in taking out Jedi with a few groups or individuals more of a threat than most of the force users in either the Sith or Jedi ranks. For a long time the Mando clans were big deals in the galaxy where having them even just considering joining a side could cause the other side to just give up. In the current age of the galaxy though after several wars with the Republic and Jedi the clans are not what they used to be but still no one who knows their history wants to pick a fight with a Mandalorian just by rep of these guys alone. This is why the Clone army of the Republic chose Jango for the model as well as the trainer for the clones and why Imperial storm troopers fair so poorly compared to Clone war era troopers. Having a group of Mando's that size save your town as a favor is insane in universe as a group that big would be worth a few planet's entire GDP to hire them.
@@sinisterisrandom8537 the pirates had no tie fighters on their side. The empire bombing a Mandalorian keep and the Mandos attacking the pirates are two different conflicts
Why I really like Bout mandorians is that they don't behave like the droids, clones or stormtroopers, all attacking at a point like an horde, they behave like a tactic unit, they cover their flanks, windows, doors,... and other places where a potencial threat would be hiding or waiting.them and they also search for cover when they're in combat

The uploader mixed in scenes from that other episode with Bo Katan fighting the TIEs. Don't know why, though. That fight had nothing to do with the battle against the pirates.
With god writing, Mando's should be basically unstoppable in this battleground. Their Jetpacks give them insane maneuverability in an urban setting, and their beskar makes them invincible for all intents and purposes.
Given the rough patches of the treaty the republic has with Mandalore. The Mando’s probably would have just abandoned the Jedi, or had a civil war over it like always. Which in turn would of still had the Jedi’s own troops turning on them in the end
Those are TIE Interceptors as they have longer panels. TIE Fighters have larger panels plus they don't do well when fighting in the sky of a planet. The Interceptors are kind of the same, but just faster then the regular TIEs in atmosphere.
The problem with this whole show was the good guys totally dominated the baddies from start to finish. there was no tension or sense of risk. its the same with all Disney recently, hero's overpowered and bad guys nerfed.

For a second I thought you were talking about the spartans from halo.
You forget sith empire troopers exist, those were actually like Spartans in training and lifestyle and were expected to throw down with force users.
Just like IRL Spartans, they're stupid and they suck at fighting and lose more often than they win?

Why were there two completely different scenes thrown in together? The Tie-Interceptor scene was not part of the pirate fight
