Infant Annihilator is all about opening your mind and opening your eyes in the most disgustingly abrasive way possible. The lyrical content is meant to be both satirical and educational at the same time. This song is obviously a take on the Catholic church and other establishments exposed for pedophilia and necrophilia and rape.
Not to mention the first album was an entire concept about a Paedophilic Priest.

Tend to know that this type of music exists within the metal world and don't really bat an eye at it because we're more aware of it and don't take it too seriously. Not necessarily that they listen to it. Just that they know it.

One of their best songs. Behold the Kingdom of the Wretched Undying is their best and is 17 minutes long, featuring 4 vocalists! It's incredible the whole way through, no filler.

@Lauren Davis I didn’t love them my first time listening to them and I was a metal head, I had to grow into it. Sometimes it takes time, or they just are fine where they are and won’t go heavier. It’s understandable.

Infant Annihilator is tame compared to some of the shit Chris Barnes wrote during the early years in Cannibal Corpse. Corpsegrinder is amazing in his own right, but he's nowhere near as dark and disturbing as Chris.

Dark Flame very easily, actually. I appreciate the talent the drummer and guitarist both present in the band. Similar to Rings of Saturn, just different lyrical content. So that’s why I said they have instrumental only tracks of the same songs with lyrics. So the people that enjoy the technical side of the band can enjoy that without the lyrical content.

The song is actually a satirical piece to spread hatred for child abusers by describing them and their actions in the most extreme way possible. Their whole gimmick is that they comment on real world issues while also poking fun at the shock value in deathcore/death metal by making their lyrics intentionally disgusting. In my opinion it's a really modern take on how bands like KISS and Motley Crue had gimmicks (such as the demon makeup and pentagram respectfully) that made parents hate them but kept the youth loving them. I love a band that doesnt take themselves too seriously and Infant Annihilator is one of those bands.
Infant Annihilatior has a satirical edge to their lyrics, it's supposed to be cringy.
But, in my opinion, it gives the songs a touch of hillariarity or even help it give a sort of violent and filthy touch. Even though they do take the lyrics a little too far with the gross factor, it isn't an infant Annihilator song without it.

I think a healthy aproach to this kind of music is that you should see it as the "Horror and Splatter" type of metal. Like some people enjoy to watch gorey slasher movies.
On this point I would suggest that you try out some Black Dahlia Murder. Their lyrics are heavily inspired by classic horror authors like Edgar Allen Poe and they are one of the best death metal bands out there currently.
