Who would attempt to sing a Whitney Houston song, while sitting and cross-legged while next to a legend like Sugarfoot Moffett? Angelina is still unknown to the vast majority of people because her wise and loving family, requested, when they signed her to Republic Records, to allow her as normal a childhood as possible. Republic has yet to fully promote Angelina and why rush a once in a hundred year vocalist? Very smart to allow her to meet so many in the music industry, like Sugarfoot, while not having any pressure of being the superstar she was born to become. Angelina has said she has written more than 100 songs and we have been blessed with 12 to date. She has hundreds of videos, scattered all over TH-cam. Search on TH-cam for "Angelina Jordan every song" for a playlist of more than 200 songs. Many songs she has multiple performances for.

Jonathan Moffett gave Angelina his highest praise in a separate video, saying that the best vocalists will be scared of her, that they will try but no one will be able to match her.

Everytime I hear Angelina Jordan sing; it's like iam hearing her sing for the first time; even though I listen to hear each day, I smile brightly, now that she is 18, she sounds absolutely beyond fabulous and is just keeps getting better and better as she masters her craft, I love her Soulful-Jazz style, it's soothing to the heart, iam so overly glad with joy that I found her and get to hear her beyond beautiful voice of healing, she brang sunshine to my heart, iam eternally grateful and a forever fan no matter what, Angelina Jordan is absolutely beyond the best, what a beyond wonderful gifted gift she is 💝💙🫂♾️

You know when they had that discussion around Angelina at her Christmas Concert, she seemed extra shy, now knowing who these guys were, ( did already know who Jimmy was) it's understandable. When he hit the baseline on " These Boots", Angie let out a ":Oh my God".

They were all politely thanked for their interest and sent packing to their private jets. It was her uncle, Mr. Micheal Astar, that found a good fit with Republic Records, negotiating, an almost unbelievably favorable contract, giving Ms. Jordan complete artistic freedom. Let us enter the prophetic realm and state some facts, at eighteen, Ms. Jordan is at least seven years from full vocal maturity, for female vocalists. Mr Boyd it’s time to do some reactions to AJ’s last two concerts , Portsmouth and The recent westgate in Vegas. Elvis performed dozens of times there. In Portsmouth her rendition of unchained melody was breathtaking. And her Vegas rendition of my funny Valentine shows just how she brings the listener on an emotional slay ride. An astonishing gifted talent.

Angelina Jordan is a once every other generation talent.
So cool that they got to sit down together Sugarfoot and Angelina and just you know, **casually** have a song (mwahahaha, hilarious!). I hope Angelina keeps meeting with and possibly performing with artists from yesteryear. I was just listening to House (Hugh Laurie) performing blues. There's a guy that could really enjoy a small set with AJ, not that he's a music legend or anything, but just the right sort of personality to share a stage.
Let's just notice Angelina's Mastery of microphone distance when she hits the louder more powerful notes. Imagine what it must be like sitting right next to her

Only Angelina Jordan can:
1. Dare to sing live for an absolute musical legend who is sitting right next to her, who would instantly pick up every nuance (and incidentally, every flaw).
2. Do so with not only a Whitney Houston song (in itself a massive challenge), but one of Whitney's biggest and most difficult songs.
3. Do this with no apparent studio enhancements whatsoever.
4. Maintain such perfect control of her entire instrument, from her diaphragm through her chest and overall breath control, her vocal chords, larynx, palate etc., her chest and her head voice, and the transition between them, her vibrato, her perfect pitch, etc., all while sitting cross-legged on a soft bed? (How in the name of heaven is this even possible??)
5. Do this with no apparent rehearsal (I can't confirm this, but that is what it looks like).
6. And finally, despite all of the above factors, every one of which would probably prove detrimental to almost any other artist on the planet, still produce a stunning, mind-blowing, magnificent, flawless performance.

Angelina Jordan is more than a singer; she is a cosmic phenomenon. Her voice has the power to bewitch anyone who listens to her, and she is soaring through the galaxy at the speed of light. She leaves a trail of red light behind her, as if she is moving away from us, but we can still hear her enchanting melodies.
When she is performing for studio video or for audience she looks like a performer. It is great to see her in everyday attire. It's like someone just handed her a mic and asked her to sing on the spot.

This is a classic example of the FACT, that AJ does not need auto tune. AJ was warming up for a recording session that included Moffett, and the production will be released in the future at the right time. She also recorded a number of songs produced by RedOne, and those have not been released. This is the recording studio in LA, close to AJ's home, that Republic Records has dedicated to her exclusive use. AJ also was working with Diane Warren, who attended AJ's 17th Birthday party. Something big is in the works for AJ.

It currently has over 11 million views and when Angelina becomes a household word, new fans will flock to her TH-cam channel to find out more about her and will simply be blown away to find out that this eighteen year old has more than *TWO HUNDRED* songs in her oeuvre, both covers and originals.

@@dojoswitzer Yes, that is what he is describing. But I think he has forgotten that the very first time he saw her was the "I would rather go blind" video. Normally I would have no recollection, but I had waited a long time for him to react to her and when he introduced the song her age was listed in the title and he didnt know what the number represented until he saw her. And on her very first note, he was captivated. That reaction was remarkable because of how quick he realized the talent. It is still probably my favorite reaction video to her ever.

I believe this may have taken place at the same time as AJ was invited to perform at Quincy Jones 85th birthday celebration. Certainly makes sense that Sugarfoot would have been invited as well. If Angelina Jordan sits singing "I Have Nothing" next to Ariana Grande(Republic Records), things will be very different. Most musicians Sugarfoot's age won't make enemy with record labels, they go along with big record labels particularly.

Interesting that you would mention that “Jacob.” I am old enough to have been an adult when this song first hit the charts with Whitney Houston singing it and it was SO overplayed that I got tired of it too.
When I first heard Angelina sing it I was, one - impressed with her ability to sing such a difficult song, and two - pleasantly surprised that Angelina’s version was more palatable. I think it has to do with the texture and color of her voice combined with her incomparable ability to sing with such heartfelt emotion.
Since hearing Angelina first cover it at the age of thirteen, I probably have listened to this song 50, maybe 75 times, usually to catch the expression on the face of a new reactor discovering Angelina.
Angelina certainly loves this song. She has many versions of it (I can thinks of eight different versions off the top of my head).
My all time favorite version of it was the time when Angelina added a significant layer of meaning to it (I believe Angelina often infuses her own analogous meaning to songs that she covers). The version I am referring to was the absolute last song that Angelina sung to end her summer of 2022 “tour” in Norway before returning home to Los Angeles. That performance was extra special because she dedicated “I Have Nothing” to her Grandmother Mery Zamani. The profound emotion of that song was palpable. ❤️❤️❤️👣
