She obviously was born with enormous talent, but don't think she doesn't practice. Angelina has a tremendous work ethic & is said to practice for several hours most days of the week, since she was 3. She had put in her 10,000 hours of practice by age 10 & was already a seasoned professional. The scary thing is she has continued to improve over the last 8 years since then!

God given talent ... yes, but she works tirelessly on her trade as well. From a very young little girl Angelina practiced and honed her skills for hours a day. Republic Records built a studio just for her and she posts short practice vids on social at all hours ... including the middle of night. I would bet that Angelina has more mic time in the last 10 years than anyone alive.

There are so many things I get from this performance. Some I recognised immediately and those I missed were brought to my attention by the more observant Angelina fans (her Angels) and I thank them for letting me know what I had missed.
(1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice.
(2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move.
(3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus.
(4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance.
(5) That wonderful crescendo at the end.
(6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance
(7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left hand, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand.
(8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 5.34 in your reaction video.
(9) The sideways look and grin she gives to her instrumentalists just after she curtsies to the audience -- as if to say, "Yeah, we killed it, guys! Now let's go get some ice cream!"
(10) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child who, curtseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause.
Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. They just cannot be compared, for Angelina's arrangement is totally different

From a Norwegian article from VG dated September 29, 2016, Angelina premiered her black and white video. A video link was a part of that article. There are some out there who say she was younger, but I have not seen their proof. Until then... If you're referring to her performance of Back to Black, she was 10 years old. From Angelina's own Facebook posting on April 23rd, 2016, she posted the following, " So here it is! We recorded this yesterday with amazing orchestra KORK. My version of "Back to Black by Amy Winehouse" I had 1 day to change the lyrics, hope you like my version! " Since she was born on January 10th, 2006, this would make her 10 years old!
'"I Put a Spell on You": According to people who were actually there at the time (in the studio) she was "around her 9th birthday". According to plan she should have recorded at age 8 (december 2014) but she was busy and sick so it was postponed.

Bro, sir, Angelina Jordan Astar (her real name) was born in Oslo/Norway on January 10th to Sarah Astar and Gerry Christian Slattmann. Some of the videos were released, years after recording.

If you were referring to the I Put A Spell On You vid, she was def 9;) For Norway's Got Talent, she started the competition at 7, but had turned 8 when she won. For the most part, people get the age correct, but there is also performances where the age is mentioned by a judge, host, title, etc
Hey bud my " nerd " ears stood up whe you mentioned how many ages had been given in the her last 2 performance .so i checked , yes nerdy . but you're mistaken most people have mentioned different ages but you may not have looked closely at the comments because those ages referred to suggestions for future requests not the video playing .only 1 person from each video gave the wrong age and 1 of those was not a regular fan .did i say i was a " nerd " Lol 😊ps i thought it was very odd that fans wouldn't know the correct ages for those performances especially " i put a spell on you "❤ peace and love .

Another day on the stage with the orchestra. Easy peazy. Yes, it brings a tear along with a perplexed look on our faces wondering how does this child do that. And there are so many of those moments, though you've only reacted to three. But I was thinking while watching this one, as amazing as each one is when she was really young, they all are just a part of her skill base as a newly minted 18 year old. She has always had amazing talent and that was the child we fell in love with because of it. But as an adult now her skills and talents are just off the charts for most middle aged singers. Each of her originals is better than the last in concept, writing, arranging, vocals, performance, and finished product. She's the whole package. Good reaction. You have many more jaw dropping moments with her to come.

Absolutely phenomenal performance from our musical genius,I’ve seen Angelina live concerts in her home country Norway , once when Angelina was 12 years old her performance of A Man’s World blew my mind, again when Angelina was 16 years old, again in Norway her stage presence was incredible her live vocals absolutely phenomenal, then I attended her concert in Portsmouth USA when Angelina was 17 , she is so special a once in a generation talent, great reaction thanks!

Angelina is known as the girl of a thousand voices. She started singing at 1 1/2. She was just 9 with tribute to screaming Jay's I put a spell on you. I've watched dozens of reaction videos of Angelina performing the song and just watched it dozens of times and my reaction is always the same as yours just now. I never get tired of watching this girl, now beautiful young woman. I've been an avid fan for over 4 years and the amazement never ends. Keep reacting to her and your channel will literally blow up. I have witnessed so many new channels start and now have a serious following. Sure they react to other artists as well but I know that it was the Angels that did it. Good luck and have fun with it.

Dont quote me on the actual number but there are about 300 songs she covers and all big names. Several original cuts from her and not one is bad or sub par. She always pays tribute to the original artist and always aranges for her self while keeping the feel and message of the song. There is a leaked BabyPhat song that she recorded and never releases you will love. Still holding out ..

Hey I recently discovered you and you're pretty face! Mainly because of Angelina Jordan. There's another one of her doing this song in an outside setting with a different type of band it's really good as well. You will love every one of her songs as everyone does. There's one called Loving You that a lot of people don't react to but it's really really good when she was 11 years old at another outside concert.
I don't know if you take requests but even if you look at it on your own you should check out Charlotte Summers she was on AGT when she was 13 and other shows way before that. One of my favorite ones she does is never enough from the greatest showman when she's probably about 13 or 14. Just another suggestion if you want to see another really good young singer have a great day!

I am just reacting to your reaction, and I find your fixation on that word offensive...
