I will confirm this. This video is SPECIFICALLY for the CUH-2015A or B or whatever 2015 model there is, because I worked on a 2155B model I think, and that model did not have as NEARLY as many screws and parts as this. This video helped a ton because I have a 2015A or B model I had to put back together. The only problem was seeing which specific screws go where, cus there’s literally like 4-5 different Philips head screws with different lengths and tread patterns

12:35, that's actually the WRONG way to put back the antenna. You need to drop the power supply first and insert the 2 prongs of the antenna into the bottom shell. The antenna actually clamps the PSU to the shell. If anyone does it the way it's shown in the video, you're going to have problems putting the top shell back. you can actually see the power supply not fully dropping in, due to the wrong way the antenna was put back. I had to learn this the hard way

Thankfully, there aren't actually many screw types. With a little prep work you can pretty much figure out what goes where by watching a video like this. First sort the screws. You'll find that most of the screws are in three piles: black, silver, and slightly shorter silver. The two types of silver screw are where you're likely to run into trouble, since their heads look very similar. Here's the trick: the shorter silver screws have fine threads (the threads are close together) and always screw into metal. The longer silver screws have coarse threads (the threads are farther apart) and always screw into plastic. So, as you watch the video, any screw with a black head will be the black screws (and will be screening into metal) of you see a silver head, look into the hole. If you see black plastic, use the longer silver screw. If you see silver or gray metal use the shorter silver screw. All the other screws are different enough that you should be able to identify them from a video.

Power and/or eject not working after re-assembly? Everything is designed with hyper-low tolerances and assembled by robots, so the power/eject buttons may not align correctly after you tear it apart to give it a cleaning or replace a disc drive. Inside the bottom outer casing for the ps4 slim there little structural supports connecting the bottom to the front, just use a razor or a hobby knife cut out the 2 nearest to the power/eject buttons and presto: perfectly aligned power and eject buttons. hope this helps even 1 person

Screw those thermal pads they go bad too you know that right I’m replacing mine with K5 pro it’s way better than thermal pads it replaces pads up to 3mm thick, did an odd PS3 *( man it runs better than it ever did there was no thermal paste on the RSX chip there was a tiny bit around it dried up the graphics on that system were never great now 1080p playback is crystal clear )* the other day there was no deliting it, strangest layout I’ve ever seen for a PS3 super slim I have a slim left to go that I know has two chips to delid *( after that all my consoles will be back to better than factory Sony uses crap thermal paste MX-4 is way better )* a lot of ppl don’t know under that big nickel chromium ihs’s there’s a laptop size chip and thermal paste under there that needs to be replaced as well I see so many repaste there ps3’s without dliting
Removing the warranty sticker, no longer negates the warranty, as of 5/14/18, S.E.I realizes from time to time the stickers may get damaged or torn, possibly even removed simply by customers putting their consoles into a stereo cabinet or TV cabinets. So removable will no longer void, or otherwise negates the warranty. Sony update of warranty can be found and read and agreed to on their web-site.

I use needle nose pliers; with teeth. It's important to use little force when gripping (but enough so that the pliers don't slip) and lightly rock the plug side to side while pulling. Don't pull too hard or you can yank the wires.

They still do put stickers on the back. I guess just to see if you opened it and for them to take a closer look if you messed with anything

Bro this is so strange but on my regular PS4's apu and on my PS4 slim's apu they have the thermal paste on the outside of the APU on BOTH SYSTEMS.
